I know this is probably already on here somewhere, I must have missed it but if you stop playing between chapters 20 and 21 your game will be screwed up. Activisions solution is totally start over, no other way around it.

I found out the hard way... maybe this will save someone else the trouble.

I read that happened to someone else, so thank goodness I continued since normally I stop to upgrade.

I'm sorry you didn't get so lucky and I wish Activision had a better answer.

At least you don't lose your Champions' levels and upgrades, though! That's far better than what would happen with any other video game.

So by stop, do you mean like stop playing and quit the game, or something else?

Yup, I had that one happen! The Weapon Master completely freezes up and you can't talk to him to start the next level.

don't stop there to level up or anything... after level 20 he will ask if you are ready to go on to the next chapter, you need to say yes.

^Wow... Suprised I didn't stop tho... Thought I would have...

But this glitch seems kinda similar to one in Jak 2. In Jak 2 if you use the 2nd or 4th save files you can only get to a certain point in the game (which is about 1 mission before you beat it). I found it out the hard way... And Jak 2 is a REALLY long game... >.<

It's only freezed up on me once, so far...

Heh. Guess my Skylanders are fond of me if they don't want it to freeze on me. I did level them to their highest. <3

I did actually take a break to upgrade between 20 and 21, and I could still talk to the weapons master to continue, thankfully.

My daughter got screwed by this glitch. We have the Wii.

after the game i can't talk to the weapon master but i beat the game no problem

$&@?. I stopped to upgrade after level 20.

I didn't have the issue, and on my playthrough, not once did I go to a level straightaway, as I went right back in it to get the 3 stars.

I also had this issue for the Wii. Gonna take me a while to get back there.

So, so far what I'm hearing is this has only happened on the Wii?

I have the Wii and it did not happen to me. Like Sunny I go back in and get my 3 stars.

Is chapter 20 when Finn tells you about the statue you have been wondering about?

Or when he asks if you will save his people or whatever?

Hmm. When did you guys buy the game? I'm almost positive I stopped between those levels because I wanted to upgrade Spyro and Trigger Happy some more.

O.o Wow. That is a freaking glitch, it's sounds like the anti-piracy from Spyro 3 YotD, but this is a weird glitch, I mean, you want to get some upgrades before keep going and then the Weaponmaster (Sounds like Firion from Final Fantasy II) it's freezed, maybe he is angry because you ignore him >.<

Wow. Happened to me last night. The weapon master won't talk. I don't mind starting a new file though. Activision should really start look into they're games.

It froze on me as well. I was so mad! Luckily I read somewhere a few tips fom others who have got past the glitch and here is what worked for me. After I could no longer talk to the weapon master I started another game. After the intro and when I could control the skylanders I quit that game then went back to the game file where I was stuck. I then went straight to the guy that makes bombs for you and threw three in the water in front of him. Walked back over and there it was! The raft that takes you to the weapon master! Worked for me. Hope it works for you to.

I have xbox and I stopped and it worked fine. BUT... In the level Quicksilver Vault the camera got glitched and as soon as I put in a Skylander they wouldn't show and just die immediately. It would only show the sky... Then i restarted the chapter and it worked fine the rest of the game.

Hmmm... Now that I think about it I'm pretty sure I did stop there, so maybe PC version isn't affected? What versions are most people having problems with?

Does this happen on the wii? It's never happened to me.

Yes, it happens on the Wii. How do I know? Because I experienced it.

This glitch happend to me. So I couldn't go on to the next chapter because i stopped playing? Interesting...

If the characters don't talk after the game is beat thats not a glitch.

sigh...Found this by a google search.

This happened to me, but with a cruel twist. I did actually say yes, but during the game an enemy got stuck and I couldn't carry on, so I quit it and when I went back he was like that.

We've got the Wii. And I remember stopping between these levels to upgrade. My son ALWAYS checks between levels to upgrade his figures. I remember because the statue on the rocky island was pretty disappointed that we didn't continue on to the next chapter. Something about waiting another 1,000 years?

Glad we didn't get the glitch. Maybe it was fixed on later releases of the game, because we got ours just before Christmas.

I came off my Xbox between Chapter 20 and 21 but he didn't sleep again, so maybe im just lucky or you guys are unlucky

It only happens on thew wii.

Same thing happened to me.

Speaking of glitches, one time I was playing with Zap and once I finished the level he was not recognized and when I placed him back on the portal he had lost all the money he gained. :/ This happened with each level afterwards so then I restarted the game and it got slightly better. I say slightly because I took him off one time after he had just gotten the coin and then placed him back and he lost that coin.

Should I be worried with my Zap?

Also speaking of glitches, my bash won't work on my portal in 2 player but works fine on 1 player and on my friend's portal. This is what happens: it goes, player 1 place a skylander on the portal of power, and so I put on bash, and then it goes, p2 place a sl on the PoP, and so my friend does, and then it says, p1 place a sl on the PoP! I try it again and same thing! Even when I play as p2! Help!

theres gotta be a better way to say that....

i have two solutions that worked for my cousins and i. use level select and select 21. if that doesnt work, just play level 20 again. hope it works for all of you!

i did it because i always do and the only time i've had to start over was when i hadn't played it in a while (i finished) and i get cynder go to play as her and my game had 0% on one game but the rest was the same

Lightning Rod Heroic Glitches. Just saying.

^The Lightning Rod Heroic Challenge Glitch is annoying, but hardly game breaking. All you have to do is restart your game, most of all the progress is connected with your Skylander anyways.
