I've always been more of a collector of Skylanders than a player - I have a few dozen figures back from the Spyro's Adventure and Giants era that have never advanced past Level 1.

But with Swap Force's new 80's arcade style "scoring system," that might get me more motivated to replay and improve my scores ... provided I had anyone on my Friends list to compare scores with, that is!

You can also compare collections with other friends, both in Skylanders owned and objects found in the game (so you can see what some of the late-stage Hats give for abilities if you haven't reached that far yet), as well as the percentage completed for each stage - which can help you figure out what stages CAN be done to 100% when many players don't have access to Wave 2 yet.


If anyone has spare space on their Friends list, plays the PS3 version and feels like adding me for some score comparisons (or to try to motivate each other to keep increasing our respective Portal Master levels), my PSN account name is Peridot_Weapon. Thanks in advance!

^Agreed! I nearly thought that the plat trophy was gonna be impossible for me to get because of some of the team trophies (I don't have anyone else to play with me here ) until I realised I could still feasibly get it, so online-co-op would be a real treat!

Of the people who I've added to my friends list, I'm most impressed with Kinsei1 (who has reached Portal Master Level 55 despite only having nine Skylanders in his/her collection) and Mellified_Man (who goes in the other direction and has a whopping 148 Skylanders in his collection).

Meanwhile, I'm still not even halfway through with completing the game ... but seeing all these people who had 100% Completion on the third stage DID motivate me to go back and do that myself. If I didn't have scores/completion percentages to compare them to, I'd probably never have bothered - at least not until I had a full set of all eight Swaplander powers, anyway.

I'll be adding everyone who hasn't all ready added me later tonight. I've racked up some pretty high scores on the first couple Bonus Missions and am interested to see how more people have fared.

My scores are higher than other peoples for most things...

Still getting requests and much appreciating them! My progress will be slow; I restrict myself to one level a day and when I beat it, I will then go back for scores, et cetera.

I haven't been playing since my wife hurt her hand. As soon as shes all healed I'll be back on there to play for sure! I've only done 3 levels so far.

edit: I'm a lil bit higher in portal ranking now, but not as high as some others. but i have the volcano hat from completing nightmare mode. so if u want to wear it, come on and check it out from my hat list. also... i think its the best hat in the game. cause i care more about defense, than i do about offense.

I have never been one for online gaming, but Skylanders is deffo one game I would play online. I agree this is a MUST for Skylanders 4

Correct. There is no global leaderboard. Just your friends.
