Lol ya i guess so, i really dont consider myself much of a noob because i put forth the effort to keep up to date with info to avoid dumb questions lol i think thats the only reasons "newbies" get crap on here. From wat i can tell both of us have stopped being noobs on here a while ago lol

Legendary Skylanders are higher in stats and their color scheme is different in-game. All the other Skylander variants are not different in-game.

Thanks d-Rex for being the only helpful person here. I did look but most of the threads are people *****ing about who they can't get and that people are monopolizing the supplies. I think it is really rude and unfriendly for people to post to a thread just to be a rude jerk. Again thank you d-Rex for be a kind and intelligent person.

As I've said, only the Legendary characters are different in game. All other variants, gold, silver, blue, etc. are not different.

actually gold comes with about 2500 coins and at level 5 idk about silver though

He's actually trying to help you, but in a combative way. Your questions have been asked before. You just need to have the desire to find it.

It just so happens that we've had a few threads like this already, so naturally a few people are upset when they see the exact same thing posted over and over.

No to take the time to answer the thread and simply not tell the answer is being a jerk. Everyone was a noob once. The point of community is rather lost on him it would seem. Not even that, he simply prompts people to think more before they act and can be a tad cheeky at times.

Yes, because that is not one of the stupidest thoughts of all time. He does not want noobs around? May be time for people to grow up just a bit and realize that it is impossible not to be a noob in most things we do. In fact, if we are forever striving to better ourselves you will find yourself in unknown territory for the majority of your existence.

He means he doesn't want noobs, as in people who can't be bothered to do some research on the forums, when the subject at hand has already been answered multiple times, not only on many, many threads but also officially released information. I'm a noob here on the forums, but I know how to work it to a respectable extent. Someone who has been on this site for 3 years and didn't know how to use anything and was a basic nuisance, asking questions that were common knowledge would be a noob. Don't take offense from something that wasn't aimed at you.

I am new to this forum, but not new to forums in general. I spend lots of time on others and have been on them for a long time. We do encourage new people to use the search button as much as possible. Most questions have already been asked and there is usually an answer already posted. When I see this in other forums, I usually reply to the question, and then paste a link to the thread with the answer so that the person asking can see where it was. Having someone new post a new thread isn't worth getting worked up over, and a "veteran" member should give direction without making the noob feel stupid. Especially when the noob has limited experience with the topic, as I do in this forum. Everyone here has been very helpful thus far, and it is appreciated.

Slammer articulates this well. The point is not rather there is room for improvement, rather is there a much better way to handle it.

To clarify, that is the position I take and try to follow (personal cranky days, aside).

But, in fairness, all Mons said was "Search is your friend" and then the other party got defensive. I honestly don't see it as an attack. Heck, I have often mentioned in sundry forums "Google is your friend" and see it as innocuous.

I would like to think that he got gnorced for more than just that (prior offencese) as that would be a very petty reason to get gnorced, otherwise.
