What paths should my Blast Zone and Wash Buckler have? I think:


Top: Bubble Bucaneer
Bottom:Ink Artist


Top: Ignition
Bottom: Temperatures Rising

For Wash Buckler I think that the other bottom-half path is better.

The paths you chose and what Tel said, are the paths I chose, I don't see my Wash Buckler being reset for either halves, but maybe Zone will

Bucklers Tentackle slapping path is good. hold O for a bit and epwpewpewpepwe

So my new thoughts are:


Top: Bubble Buccaneer (Some say the sword is better, but I find using the bubbles more fun)
Bottom: Tentacoolest (Works well with Soul Gem)


Top: Ignition (Bombs are fun to use, the Wall of Fire is kind of weak)
Bottom: Fuel Injection (I think the charge will work amazingly with the Soul gem)

I don't think the tentacle path makes his soul gem ability do extra damage does it???

I have a question about Night Shift. Does his top half 'Champion Fighter' path increase damage from the uppercut or does it only provide money from using it?

Does Sprocket's new wow pow make her tank/turret path the better choice? Same question goes for Chill and her ice block path

Since they are both Series 2, you can change paths if you later regret it. As far as I know Sprocket's wow pow does increase the power of her tank and turrets. As far as Chill goes, I didn't notice any noticeable difference for her ice block path when using the wow pow.

So, what path should I use for Quickdraw?

i used the snake poison path because his spring loaded snake goes through walls for long range destruction
and i'm not sure about the bottom path
is the stampede good?
and does nasty ssuprisse
make the deputy shoot acid bombs or be a one time acid bomb when you place it?

For Rattle Shake I chose:

Top - Coiled Ammunition path
Bottom - Grave Springer path

They are both pretty good and I have no intention of switching. Ultimately the choice is yours.

How do the gravestones work?

They increase the area of damage when using Spurred Spring. It does not actually increase the damage itself however. Spurred Spring feels like a delayed dash attack, much like Blast Zone's Rocket Dash but with less damage.

which upgrade paths should I choose for Boom Jet?

Top - Squad Leader - but either is good
Bottom - Ace Gunner - rocket upgrades home in on enemies

We tried both paths for the top half. We ended up choosing the path with the electric clouds.

For the bottom path we chose the path the makes him leave a trail of smoke that stuns. Theorically it could be useful in pvp when they are chasing you. Works like flame slingers flame trail.

Wash - Yes, by far.
Buckler - I thought that path originally as well, but it's terrible.
Blast - I think the other path looks better, and is the one I'm on, but I haven't tried that one.
Zone - Yes, by far.

I love his air rocket path for the top over the cloud! I feel the bottom rocket path is better as well!

Anyone know the better paths for fire kraken's top (probably gonna go for dragon parade), grilla drilla's top and Grilla Drilla's bottom half (leaning slightly towards monkeys & banana blaster respectively)? Also, I know night shift's better bottom path is underbat, but does it feel too cheap/overpowered?

Grilla Drilla's Banana Blaster lowers the damage but increases rate of fire, the other path keeps the normal rate of fire but increases damage. Also, I went for the monkeys and they are great.

the banana shooter doesn't shoot that much faster to make it do any more damage than the coconuts really, plus the coconuts can hit multiple enemies.

We have our Night Shift on the Warping vortex path, and frankly, it is still very strong and fun.

Dune Bug's paths were a difficult choice for me, as each path had a certain selling feature I wanted. Dune Mage gave increased armor which this character really lacks in. On the other hand, his Scarab Sage path gave me a radial damage attack (jump while hovering) which I really like to have when surrounded. I ended up trying Scarab Sage first and then Dune Mage. I have to say that I enjoy Dune Mage a lot more. While the top path gave me that radial attack I would prefer to have, the sparks from his wings serve to cover his back half while you can shoot your staff from the front. Sides go unprotected, but that's something I'm willing to concede for this path. His added armor is insanely needed, giving him I believe an extra +40 armor (he went from 66 to 106 on my game). Definitely Dune Mage all the way! Thanks for the videos you posted, dwattz, they helped me decide to try both paths and find out that this one was far superior.

Hi wdrumz, I watched your paths guides and I came with the final decision of Tentacoolest and Bubble Bucaneer as well as Ignition and the Fire Shield Path. Do you plan on putting a Rubble Rouser path guide up? I'm not sure which top path to choose.

I think it's awesome that the boar is damaging nearby enemies without touching them....no matter... I have regular and legendary so I'll have two to test both paths.

I hate that Dune Mage takes away his cool coloring (I reset mine to Scarab Sage), but the bonus armor is probably the difference maker for PvP, i.e. probably Dune Mage for PvP. I don't know for sure though. The increased staff damage on Scarab Sage might be better. Needs testing.
