18. 18 years old

19. Yes

20.

My Ideal Spyro game would be Insomniac returning, to develop an HD remake trilogy for PS4, Xbox One and Wii U. Use the exact same formula the originals use, bring back Tom Kenny to voice Spyro and bring back Copeland to remix the soundtracks, and we are good to go. I love the classics, and believe it or not, while this generation don't really know who spyro is, (Except for in Skylanders), an HD trilogy being released could easily reintroduce Spyro.

18. How old were you?
Sixteen? Something like that.

19. Do you still play the classics?
All the time. :)

20. Now, in a paragraph, what would be YOUR Ideal Spyro game?
I'd love to see the Insomniac trilogy remade with nothing changed, just an update to the art style (preferably Skylanders style, because the fan rage would be hilarious and I want to see some of my favorite characters as official Skylanders creations). A game where you could play as Elora would be pretty awesome, too.

4. Least favourite is Bentley.

5. Favourite homeworld, can't decide between Autumn plains and Evening Lake.

6. Least favourite homeworld is Gnasty's world, just too plain.

7. Favourite level is enchanted towers for sure. Skateboard AND Sgt. Byrd fly-around? YES

18. How old was I? 4 or 5

19. Do I still play the classics? Sometimes, depends how I'm feeling.

20. What is my ideal Spyro game?

Well, lets see. It needs, to have at least as many home worlds (& bosses) as the first game, the gameplay & style should be that of YotD, the boss style being a mixture of YotD and AHT, no different breath energies, needs skateparks, a prominent villain, Moneybags (actually) and memorable levels and music.

1. Out of the CLASSIC series (Spyro The Dragon through Shadow Legacy), which was your favorite of the games?

All of them are great and each have special reasons to be the best (YotD because I love the egg collectables, StD just because, RR because of the superflame power up). I guess the best would be Spyro the Dragon.

2. Least Favorite?

Enter The Dragonfly

3. Favorite Playable Character?

Spyro, if he doesn't count then Sgt. Byrd

4. Least Favorite Playable Character?

Bentley

5. Favorite Homeworld?

Evening Lake, mostly because of the swimming in air glitch is the most fun there

6. Least Favorite Homeworld?

Gnasty's World, if that doesn't count then Artisans I guess

7. Favorite Level?

I love a lot of them, the one in particular that comes to mind is Gnasty's Loot but if that doesn't count then maybe Charmed Ridge

8. Least Favorite Level?

Not including the Sparx levels, I guess Fracture Hills. Don't know why but I never enjoyed that level

9. What game had the best Soundtrack?

Spyro the Dragon

10. What game had the worst Soundtrack?

I loved all the soundtracks but I guess RR is the least memorable

11. Best Level Music?

Lofty Castle, hands down

12. Worst Level Music?

I can't think of any in particular I wasn't fond of.

13. Favorite Antagonist?

Ripto

14. Least Favorite Antagonist?

Gnasty Gnorc

15. Favorite Development Team? (Example: Insomniac, Check Six, Etc)

Insomniac

16. Least Favorite Development Team?

Check Six

17. What year did you start playing Spyro?

Not sure, in the early 2000s

18. How old were you?

I can vaguely remember my parents getting me the first game in the car on our way back from daycare or something... So maybe 4-6 years

19. Do you still play the classics?

Sure

20. Now, in a paragraph, what would be YOUR Ideal Spyro game?

I think it would be neat if there was a game like the classics but with multiple breath types. I'd love a bunch of different homeworlds and portals. Stewart Copeland should do the music again and it should have some cool, memorable levels. Collectables would be cool too, such as gems and eggs or something like that. Should be a boss in between each new homeworld and challenging but fun challenges to obtain the collectables. etc.

Hm, that's a difficult question, since I like all Spyro games. It would be interesting to see a Spyro game that has qualities from both the Legend and original series if possible, returning characters, nostalgic collectibles, some returning voice actors, interesting storyline, non too short.

I just recently replayed the first 3 games after years of not playing them. I might try to replay them yearly now because they're still great fun to play through

20. Now, in a paragraph, what would be YOUR Ideal Spyro game?
A brand new Spyro game that is similar and as fun to play as the first 3 games
(I like the Skylanders series but it's become it's own separate game series and they don't feel like true Spyro games. I'll probably never get used to Spyro's Skylander design either).

A Spyro game where you can fly freely, you can meet up with other dragons and learn new skills. There should be all other creatures too. With tons of places you can go to without the portals (Kind of like how some MORPGs do have that feature). Though the only portal that wil be in the game is to other dimension levels, like entering the Crash bandicoot verse. Though I have seen some artworks where Skylanders were put into Classic Spyro style as side characters. I think that would be rather cool to see. Except they would be more guardians and other ranking citizens than heroes. Or at least that would be cool in my point of view.

1. Spyro The Dragon: best level design, personality, music etc imo. I don't feel any Spyro game had level design quite as good, I think environment design improved in numerous areas but the layout of enemies, gems and such wasn't as creative or interesting. Also, it's the only "classic" Spyro game where I LIKED the flying levels.

2. Spyro: Season of Ice. It was painful. At least, while it's glitchy and has big problems, ETD was playable... SoI is bad purely because the game controlled horribly. It's like Spyro is constantly sliding on ice. And there is absolutely nothing interesting about the game that encourages you to sit through it: the game design and environment design are also incredibly boring. A waste of a cartridge to have.

3. Spyro: duh

4. Sparx: I like him but I didn't like playing as him at all

5. Autumn Plains: this Homeworld is a joy to come back and explore. The glide from the top of the castle is fun and something I'm upset was never really used again. I love how this Homeworld feels and the design of it as a whole, and I also love the levels in it, as a nice bonus. Honourable mention goes to Artisans because it's so simple that it's genius.

6. That First One From Season of Ice: Yeap, I really hate that game. The Homeworld isn't interesting or exciting and looks kind of dead, and it also marks the start of an utterly awful journey.

7. It's a hard choice, but I'll go with Autumn Plains, for the reasons above. If Homeworlds don't count, I'd say ... Super Bonus Round? I don't really like the level, after replaying it, but it's so nostalgic and took me years to beat [plus YoTD was the first game I ever played] when I first played it so it's earned a very special spot in my heart.

8. That First Homeworld From Season of Ice and EVERY LEVEL FROM SEASON OF ICE (especially the first Sparx level in Season of Ice.) if that doesn't count, Cheetah Spot Spa because I don't care for it I guess?? None of the levels outside of SoI stick out for being bad to me

9. Spyro The Dragon, IMO, had the most personality, though I think AHT and GTG deserve honorable mentions

10. Season of Ice (I just want to hurt this game as much as possible. It sucks. Though I'll give a mention to the GBA game, Adventure, because I can't remember any of the music from it, which is bad. And SoF didn't have many memorable tracks, nor did Fusion... Basically, "GBA games" had the worst music in Spyro's case...)

11. Super Bonus Round (nostalgic answer) / PAL High Caves, Hurricos, GTG Homeworlds, Crocovile Swamp ? Way too hard to pick just one.

12. Everything from the GBA games (cynical answer) / Sparx Levels, YoTD (I laughed when I first heard the music in a level, it doesn't work outside of the title screen IMO, even though I like it.)

13. The Sorceress: truly evil...

14. Ripto: overused toooooo much.

15. Insomniac. The others don't hold a candle. Out of the others, I'd pick Eurocom, for AHT.

16. Whoever Made Season of Ice

17. 2003, maybe, but started following him more around 2006-7

18. Shhh

19. I replayed them recently. I'm not planning to again for a while, since I'm plaything through the Crash games now.

20. It would need to have a similar feel to Spyro The Dragon: fast paced levels with much more focus on the actual gameplay and personality of the game and not so many cutscenes. But it would also incorporate features from GTG like swimming and gliding into the level design and have similarly wide-open Homeworlds. There would also be a time trial system similar to Crash Bandicoot 3 because I can never get enough of games with time trials and it would work really well on a game with pacing like Spyro The Dragon, IMO. Level design would need to be adjusted for that but it would be really fun. It'd have to come out on the Wii U as well.

1. Out of the CLASSIC series (Spyro The Dragon through Shadow Legacy), which was your favorite of the games?
Well,I never played ALL of them, but considering the ones I did,Shadow Legacy. Don't point those pitchforks at me,AHT is a close second but loses due to having horrid dialogue and character portrayal compared to this one.

2. Least Favorite?
ETD. While I'm okay with the overly goofy graphics and glitches, the whole thing looks like it was made with no second thought - levels, characters, and even some songs. It just feels like it wasn't done with any effort.

3. Favorite Playable Character?
Spyro.Hunter in AHT is cool, but feels too slippery, and no Sparx you're not ever going to play better than the plataformer guys.

4. Least Favorite Playable Character?
Sparx,as said above. His shooting sections aren't half bad,but his controls are just weird and it doesn't feel like the normal game or your usual shooter.

5. Favorite Homeworld?
Dragon Realms/Village,probably.It has the right feel of adventure that someone should have when they're starting their journey.

6. Least Favorite Homeworld?
None really, but if we're talking about the teleport areas in AHT as well,Coastal Remain or whatever it's called. It has so much things going on and just feels cluttered.

7. Favorite Level?
Stormy Beach.

8. Least Favorite Level?
Dark Mine.

9. What game had the best Soundtrack?
AHT,though I have my doubts if the songs in it are all in the places they should play at.

10. What game had the worst Soundtrack?
ETD. What went wrong with the final boss theme?!

11. Best Level Music?
Stormy Beach :3

12. Worst Level Music?
Forgotten Worlds in Shadow Legacy.Doesn't fit at all considering the point the story is at.

13. Favorite Antagonist?
The Sorceress. I don't know what the devs were thinking with putting the most kid-unfriendly villain of the series in YOTD,but I actually like that xD

14. Least Favorite Antagonist?
Red. His reasons to being evil and causing destruction don't have that much reasoning, nor his alliance with The Sorcerer, and out of the blue he becomes good again.

15. Favorite Development Team? (Example: Insomniac, Check Six, Etc)
No preference,really :I

16. Least Favorite Development Team?
Probably Check Six if we're talking about the games themselves, but I haven't seen their other works so they might not be that bad.

17. What year did you start playing Spyro?
Somewhere around 2004 or 2005,when some friends of mine invited me to play AHT with them.Though I've known the series for a bit longer, since one of my brother's friends had Gateway to Glimmer and I ran into ETD copies in game stores quite a few times before playing it.

18. How old were you?
9 years ish? Oh man,it's been a long time.

19. Do you still play the classics?
Nah,unfortunately. My brother had illegal copies of AHT and some LOS games, but as the time passed the PS2 stopped reading them properly. Though I still have Shadow Legacy in my emulator(though it has this glitch that keeps me from completing the game depending on what I do in Forgotten Worlds,so that probably means it doesn't count either).

20. Now, in a paragraph, what would be YOUR Ideal Spyro game?
Polished plataforming, good or great writing(doesn't even have to be story;just dialogue and characters that work well),awesome boss battles and world design close to AHT's and Krome's(not even TEN bias, though I fell in love with all the spiral-y structures) - Legend,Skyro,Classic, doesn't matter(as long as it isn't DOTD style tho). I'd also ask for extra bosses once more, but that might be too much :U

1. Out of the CLASSIC series (Spyro The Dragon through Shadow Legacy), which was your favorite of the games?
Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! In my opinion, it had the best atmosphere, the most diverse level themes and aesthetics, fun challenges and minigames, no side characters that were a chore to control, and those awesome cutscenes before and after each level.

2. Least Favorite?
Of the ones I've played, I'll give it to Shadow Legacy. It's very uninteresting and extremely empty. It also suffers from serious collision detection issues. Enter the Dragonfly is a close second.

3. Favorite Playable Character?
Spyro. His controls were always so fluid and responsive.

4. Least Favorite Playable Character?
Bentley. Extraordinarily slow and clunky to control. His missions really broke up Year of the Dragon for me. <.>

5. Favorite Homeworld?
I think I'll go maverick here and say Winter Tundra. It had some of my favorite levels in Ripto's Rage and I really liked the harsh, chilling winter fortress theme.

6. Least Favorite Homeworld?
Dragon Village from Enter the Dragonfly. It was very dull and EXTREMELY empty compare to previous hub levels.

7. Favorite Level?
Fireworks Factory. Always a blast to play... no pun intended.

8. Least Favorite Level?
Crop Circle Country from Enter the Dragonfly. It was filled to the brim with empty, wide open spaces. None of its minigames were enjoyable, and the Riptocs with the laser attacks were extraordinarily annoying.

9. What game had the best Soundtrack?
Year of the Dragon. I really liked the use of the synths in this game.

10. What game had the worst Soundtrack?
Spyro: Shadow Legacy. There was hardly any music, and none of it was memorable in any way.

11. Best Level Music?
Fireworks Factory, of course! ^.^

12. Worst Level Music?
Throw everything from Shadow Legacy into this one. I don't even remember a single level theme.

13. Favorite Antagonist?
Ripto in Ripto's Rage only. Because he's basically Emperor Tachyon. ^.^;

14. Least Favorite Antagonist?
Grendor. Nothing really likeable about the villain. A 2-headed Rhynoc with very little tricks up its sleeve. It also doesn't get much in the way of character development. *shrug*

15. Favorite Development Team? (Example: Insomniac, Check Six, Etc)
Insomniac Games. But that's kind of a given.

16. Least Favorite Development Team?
Breaking the rules to go into the Legendverse, because my answer is Etranges Libellules (or however it's supposed to be spelt). Dawn of the Dragon was just that lousy for me.

17. What year did you start playing Spyro?
I don't remember... 1999? <.>

18. How old were you?
Somewhere between 6 and 7.

19. Do you still play the classics?
Via the PlayStation Network.

20. Now, in a paragraph, what would be YOUR Ideal Spyro game?
I don't really know. One that mixes the older, adventurous formula with some puzzle solving and throws in the trademark wit games like Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper have become known for. <.<;

1. Out of the CLASSIC series (Spyro The Dragon through Shadow Legacy), which was your favorite of the games?

Gateway to Glimmer. I think it was the first I played, but it's also the one that sticks in my mind the most.

2. Least Favorite?

Enter the Dragonfly (loading...loading...)

3. Favorite Playable Character?

Sheila. High jumps are always cool.

4. Least Favorite Playable Character?

Sparx. For a dragonfly he's pretty sluggish.

5. Favorite Homeworld?

Midnight Mountain. IMO it's the prettiest-looking.

6. Least Favorite Homeworld?

I vaguely remember one, I think from Season of Flame, which was pretty much impossible to navigate. Buggered if I remember its name, though. smilie

7. Favorite Level?

Breeze Harbour.

8. Least Favorite Level?

Tree Tops *shudders*

9. What game had the best Soundtrack?

Gateway to Glimmer, at least I think that was the one with the awesome guitars.

10. What game had the worst Soundtrack?

Shadow Legacy. Shadow Realm music was creepy as hell but sadly it can't make up for the twee Dragon Shores theme.

11. Best Level Music?

Midnight Mountain

12. Worst Level Music?

Dream Weavers

13. Favorite Antagonist?

Ripto.

14. Least Favorite Antagonist?

Blowhard. All blow and no hard (that means something, right? smilie)

15. Favorite Development Team? (Example: Insomniac, Check Six, Etc)

Insomniac

16. Least Favorite Development Team?

Activision/Sierra

17. What year did you start playing Spyro?

About 1999, I think.

18. How old were you?

If the above is right I'd have been 3.

19. Do you still play the classics?

Every now and again, yeah, but not all are compatible with my PS3. smilie

20. Now, in a paragraph, what would be YOUR Ideal Spyro game?

World-based format like the Classics but with super sharp graphics (I'm talking full Gran Turismo style here. smilie) Also make the levels a bit more sandbox-y so there's scope to do a bit of proper exploring, as opposed to the linearity of the original games, though God knows how much it would cost to render several individual levels like that. Also bring a return to Sheila, Bentley, Byrd, Agent 9 and Elora, all of them being a playable character at some point in the game.

A topic about Classic series, this is a pleasant surprise! Without further ado, I would like to show you my answers.

1. Out of the CLASSIC series (Spyro The Dragon through Shadow Legacy), which was your favorite of the games?
This has to be the toughest question of this survey because there are way too many phenomenal games to choose from. If I have to single out one game that stands out from the Classics it must be YotD. This is because it has relatively most content with its variable playable characters, mini-games, skill points and lots of levels.

2. Least Favorite?
This question is probably the easiest to answer to. My least favourite game of the Classic series is EtD. This is simply because it was rushed to the markets practically destroying patient game development which ended up creating game full of glitches that made the whole gameplay experience quite disappointing.

3. Favorite Playable Character?
My favourite playable character is, of course, Spyro. There’s no need to say why.

4. Least Favorite Playable Character?
Blink the Mole is just plain rubbish. Even though I like his shooting ability but the challenges one has to go through playing as him are boring and the checkpoint system is totally failed in his challenges in AHT.

5. Favorite Homeworld?
Autumn Plains is my favourite home world. It has the best atmosphere, the soundtrack in the background is soothing and magical and of course the long glide from the top of the Autumn Plain’s castle tower is always a moment when playing GtG.

6. Least Favorite Homeworld?
EtD’s basic home world is boring. Even though it has nice amount of “portals” to the different levels, it is just annoying to play.

7. Favorite Level?
The grand level of Volcanic Isle beginning from Stormy Beach and ending up all to way to Red’s Lab is my favourite level of all time. It has so much content, and it is fascinating to play through the whole Isle in logical order. The areas are well connected to each other.

8. Least Favorite Level?
This category has two winners in my record book. The winners are Crop Circle Country and Honey Marsh from EtD. Both levels have annoying challenges that are difficult only because the games own horrible controls. Up to this date I have never met anything as annoying and frustrating in video games than the Honey Tank challenge.

9. What game had the best Soundtrack?
This is another category that has two winners. Spyro the Dragon and AHT have without a shadow of a doubt the best soundtracks of the Classics. Spyro the Dragon has such a nice catchy tunes, rhythms and melodies in its soundtrack where as AHT has bombastic and very depicting soundtrack with its orchestral arrangements etc.

10. What game had the worst Soundtrack?
I think that the word “worst” cannot be applied to any soundtrack in any games of Spyro universe. Every Spyro game has at least good soundtrack in my opinion. But out of the Classics I’ve played I must choose GtG’s soundtrack. This is because I simply cannot remember any of the tunes of that particular game after I’ve played it. I never find myself whistling or mumbling its songs.

11. Best Level Music?
Lofty Castle is the best piece of composition in the Classic series and it has been placed just to the right level.

12. Worst Level Music?
Lost Fleet from YotD is one of my least favourite Spyro music pieces of all time.

13. Favorite Antagonist?
Red is my favourite because he has somewhat charismatic take-no-prisoners attitude and presence as a leader of evil forces. I mean the guy has that feeling of true authority all around him. Besides, as a dragon who turned on his own people and kingdom, he has original twist to his methods and motives for his actions.

14. Least Favorite Antagonist?
Sorceress is my least favourite because I just don’t get the “evil boss” vibes from her.

15. Favorite Development Team? (Example: Insomniac, Check Six, Etc)
It’s Insomniac because of the original trilogy.

16. Least Favorite Development Team?
It has to be Check Six because of three words: Enter the Dragonfly. I rest my case.

17. What year did you start playing Spyro?
I never remember the exact year when I started to play it. But I guess it was back in the years 1998 – 1999.

18. How old were you?
Let’s say that I was in my childhood years then.

19. Do you still play the classics?
Yes on very regular basis using my PS2.

20. Now, in a paragraph, what would be YOUR Ideal Spyro game?

I would like a Classic series game that continues where AHT ended. Gameplay-wise it could have slight melee combat features like there are in TLoS series. I would also like to see the good old portal system introduced back to the games.

1. Out of the CLASSIC series (Spyro The Dragon through Shadow Legacy), which was your favorite of the games?: I can't possibly pick just one, so I'll go with the whole classic trilogy. ^.^ (StD, RR, and YotD. I also like A Hero's Tail.)

2. Least Favorite? Enter the dragonfly. I only played it once when I was little, but now that I look at videos of it.....
e.e

3. Favorite Playable Character? Spyro.

4. Least Favorite Playable Character? I'm neutral about playing the other characters. They're nothing special to me...>.>

5. Favorite Homeworld? In Spyro the dragon: All of them. ^.^ Ripto's rage: Dunno, since I never really played it. But that one place with the huge palace seems pretty neat... Year of the dragon: I like all of them. (Especially Evening lake. I like how its a castle half-submerged in the water. :P _
6. Least Favorite Homeworld? None, they are all pretty cool/awesome to me.
7. Favorite Level? Spyro the dragon: All of them. Year of the dragon: Fireworks factory, Sunny Villa, Enchanted towers, Skateboard place at Enchanted Towers..

8. Least Favorite Level? None. (I either like/love them, or I simply don't mind much..)

9. What game had the best Soundtrack? Spyro the dragon, Year of the dragon. (Again, haven't really played Ripto's Rage so I can't say much on that. Or Shadow legacy, on that matter...)

10. What game had the worst Soundtrack? None.

11. Best Level Music? All of them. XP

12. Worst Level Music? None.

13. Favorite Antagonist? Eh, I like 'em all..XP

14. Least Favorite Antagonist? None.

15. Favorite Development Team? (Example: Insomniac, Check Six, Etc) Insomniac, since they did such an amazing job. Not sure who did A Hero's Tail, but they also did a pretty good job..

16. Least Favorite Development Team? I don't think I have any. (I think Insomniac did the best job though, when it comes to the classics.)

17. What year did you start playing Spyro? I've been playing Spyro for as long as I can remember. XD

18. How old were you? Possibly around 3/4 years old...

19. Do you still play the classics? Of course! =D

20. Now, in a paragraph, what would be YOUR Ideal Spyro game? Well, my ideal Spyro game would have to be all the games that already exist. (Maybe not Enter the dragonfly, seeing as it failed to badly. ._. ) The only things different I would like to see are Spyro's parents, really... (And maybe an unlockable "Flight mode" after completing a game 100% that you can toggle on or off. :P )

19. Do you still play the classics?
Yep and they'll always be the best.

20. Now, in a paragraph, what would be YOUR Ideal Spyro game?
It would have more than one playable character and they would have their own levels rather than just minigames like in AHT, or you could switch between the characters like in Donkey Kong 64 or Yoshi's Island DS so they can access areas or collectables that other characters can't. For example, if there's a really high ledge, you'd have to switch to Sheila or Sgt. Byrd so you can reach the ledge by jumping/flying or if there's large boulders in the way, you'd have to switch to Bentley so you can smash them. Spyro would also have his breath abilities from ETD and AHT as well as his wind breath from AOTR.

in about...... 2006
18. How old were you?
um, no offense but this is no ones business
19. Do you still play the classics?
yes im currently playing one
20. Now, in a paragraph, what would be YOUR Ideal Spyro game?
my ideal spyro game would b him with all his powers of course but with more dragons and meet new animals that can help him on his way and newer harder enemies.more dragons because i think that would make it more interesting to have someone trailing behind him that he can switch to to use other powers. more helpful animals because it would have more mini bonus games and helpful hints along the way.harder enemies cause that wouldnt make the game too simple.he could still have his charge and all his powers.but that would be my ideal spyro game.

sorry if some of this is wrong and doesnt make sense but i have played them so dont say i havent!
i luv these original games better than the newer versions........

I look forward to reading all of your replies! Please NUMBER your answers and answer all questions!

19. Yes

1. Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage (Gateway to Glimmer in EU), b/c it wasn't as confusing as the first game.

2. Spyro: Season of Ice, because of unclear navigation.

3. If Spyro doesn't count, it'd have to be Agent 9. He's the most hilarious character out of the bunch, and I think he deserves another chance in a new game.

4. OH, you're NOT gonna believe this, but I choose EMBER AND FLAME!!!1!1!! (From Hero's Tail) once you get to control them in Hero's Tail, it's pointless to do so. They all take Spyro's body and just change his form, but not his VOICE!!!!

5. Winter Tundra from Spyro 2. It just has this majestic feel to it, you know?

6. I'll just go ahead and agree with HIR's choice of the Dragon Village. It didn't give a Spyro feel to it, you know?

7. SUPER BONUS ROUND, SPYRO 3, because it's the best level that showcases Spyro in the greatest way possible. PLAYSTATION 1 IS A WINNER FOR THAT!!1!!1!!!

8. Zephyr from Spyro 2. Anyone who fell of the main path and had no idea where to go then would easily get that feel.

9. Spyro the Dragon. There's hardly any moody music in there. It's all about EXCITEMENT.

10. Hate to say, but Spyro: Shadow Legacy. While it gave an effort to REALLY change the Spyro series for the modern world, the music was too repetitive. I didn't mind at first, but that's because I was 10 years old.

11. I can't remember the levels well anymore, so I'll just say Icy Caves or whatever that first winter level is from Spyro the Dragon. It's catchy for a winter theme.

12. The soundtrack that plays when you come across an abandoned place in Spyro: Shadow. Legacy. Again, the music is repetitive and isn't moody like the soundtrack from The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night or the soundtrack from The Last Of Us.

13. Don't really have a preference. If you mean "most destructive" or something like that, in a sense that makes us like them, I'd say Gnasty Gnorc. He's the first mascot for Spyro villains, and because Eurocom liked him so much, they brought him back for Hero's Tail.

14. Whoever the heck that mermaid was in Spyro: Hero's Tail. She is just too overreactive.

15. Everyone goes bandwagon on Insomniac because they're the ones who know Spyro the most, and I don't blame them. Insomniac it is.

16. Amaze Entertainment. You don't know how poorly made a Spyro game can be if it's not made by Insomniac until you've played Spyro: Shadow Legacy.

17. 2000

18. I was three years old. smilie

19. I haven't played the classics like an everyday drug that I took when I was 3 - 9 years old. I still like them, though. The last time I played Spyro the Dragon was March 3, 2014.

20. Spyro Enchanted My idea is just WAY too elaborate for a paragraph.

1. Year of the dragon. I also quite like AHT, but I have a problem with it's screwing of characters (particularly Hunter, Sgt Byrd and Bentley) and difference from the first four.

2. Shadow Legacy. Haven't played the GBA games.

3. Controls wise, Sgt Byrd in YOTD, because of the epic free flying. Hunter in AHT and Blink were also pretty fun to play.

Character wise, Spyro of course. but agent 9 needs to win an award for most hilarious and most high

4. Control wise, Flame and Ember for just being skins, and Agent 9. I also hated Sparx's levels in both games he was playable.

Character wise, Sgt Byrd I guess (lol irony). but note i don't hate any playable character

5. It's too hard to least one, so I would say Midnight Mountain and Winter Tundra, and the main ice world in AHT. I always love ice worlds okay? Even though I wouldn't want to live in one...

6. Beast Makers (once again, I think that's what it's called) world in STD.

7. I've always enjoyed playing Sgt Byrd's Base. And Frozen Altars because of Spyro's ice breath. I also ADORED Tree Tops unlike a lot of people because I thought those ramps were fun as heck. Fireworks Factory and Lofty Castle also favourites

8. The Sunken Ruins (I think that's what it's called?) in AHT and Hunter's level in AHT.

9. Spyro the Dragon.

10. Shadow Legacy/A Hero's Tail. Never really liked the sound track in those games.

11. Lofty Castle. However Honey Marshes in ETD is a pretty darn funky tune which is also just as good.

12. Abandoned places in SL. In fact most music in that game was awful.

13. Riptoe.

14. Don't really have one. Spyro has been good with antagonists.

15. Insomniac. They know Spyro best and how to make a true Spyro game. Other games just can't compare to STD, GTG and YOTD. However if ETD was given time to complete I reckon it would have been a great game.

16. Sierra. They changed Spyro as soon as they got their hands on it (with AHT and TLOS series).

17. I honestly can't remember. I was about four or three, so about 1999 or 2000?

18. Four or three maybe?

19. Not at the moment since I remember them too much. Might play them again in like, five years time when my memory of them is hazy.

20. Like the first four. Keep characters in YOTD playable. Introduce the other elements which Spyro can wield like in AHT/ETD, but get rid of bubble and water breath unless they actually DO SOME DAMAGE (like water bending in Avatar).

1. Out of the CLASSIC series (Spyro The Dragon through Shadow Legacy), which was your favorite of the games?
Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer. Mostly because double jump glitch is best glitch.

2. Least Favorite?
Spyro Fusion. Such a disappointment.

3. Favorite Playable Character?
Spyro! But besides him, I guess Sheila.

4. Least Favorite Playable Character?
Blink. No doubt about it.

5. Favorite Homeworld?
Winter Tundra!

6. Least Favorite Homeworld?
Autumn Fairy Home.

7. Favorite Level?
Charmed Ridge, followed closely by Dark Hollow.

8. Least Favorite Level?
Either Robotica Farms or Metropolis.

9. What game had the best Soundtrack?
Gateway to Glimmer or Year of the Dragon

10. What game had the worst Soundtrack?
I wasn't particularly impressed with A Hero's Tail's soundtrack, to be honest...

11. Best Level Music?
Tough one, but I've always been fond of Frozen Altars.

12. Worst Level Music?
Blink's Level music. Biased since I never liked his levels in the first place.

13. Favorite Antagonist?
Ripto

14. Least Favorite Antagonist?
Grendor

15. Favorite Development Team? (Example: Insomniac, Check Six, Etc)
Insomniac

16. Least Favorite Development Team?
Sierra

17. What year did you start playing Spyro?
1998

18. How old were you?
10

19. Do you still play the classics?
Of course!

20. Now, in a paragraph, what would be YOUR Ideal Spyro game?
I guess something along the lines of the classic games, but with flight like DotD (though a lot more polished).
Also, like in Epic Mickey, a 'path' system, so you can choose to be the hero or the anti-hero.

1. Out of the CLASSIC series (Spyro The Dragon through Shadow Legacy), which was your favorite of the games?
The original, first one, easily <3

2. Least Favorite?
Probably the second (Ripto's Rage)? It was just sort of boring and too difficult (not in an unbeatable way, just a "this is so hard its not really worth it" sort of way)

3. Favorite Playable Character?
Spyro himself! Though him aside, I love love love Sheila, not for her controls but just her as a character aaa

4. Least Favorite Playable Character?
Bentley because he was so slow and his jumps were so small. I guess I really like being able to jump when I play games smilie Blink was also annoying though

5. Favorite Homeworld?
Hmmm man I love Dream Weavers so much... Though forgive my forgetting the name of it but I also love the last homeworld of Year of the Dragon. The one with the snake statue (that thing freaked me out as a kid omg).

6. Least Favorite Homeworld?
Um... hard to decide. I think lots of the homeworlds in Ripto's Rage were super boring tbh.

7. Favorite Level?
Oooh um... gosh that's a hard one. I remember loving the Beast Makers and the Dream weavers levels a ton but I couldn't possibly choose a favorite x_x Also I'm a sucker for Town Square it's so fun and simple and nicely designed and such a fun way to start the game aaa. And oh I loved the Cloudy Domain in AHT so much

8. Least Favorite Level?
Um... probably any and all underwater level because I just suck at those controls omg Orrrr Sunken Ruins since the enemies seemed sorta overpowered and I was really really irritated by it in general when playing ughh

9. What game had the best Soundtrack?
The first one by FAR. AHT was also pretty nice tho

10. What game had the worst Soundtrack?
Idk why I disliked the second game so much omg. But I can't think of a single song standing out when I look back on it so...

11. Best Level Music?
Hm probably... I dunno, I was always really really fond of the Peace Keeper's homeworld music omg. Or the music in the level in the third game, with the cat wizards? I can't remember what it's called agh but I loved it omg.

12. Worst Level Music?
Uh... I can't really think of anything specific. Anything that didn't particularly... stand out? I liked the levels where the music seemed really prominent I suppose. I remember finding the EtD music more annoying than anything though. Like, a dstraction >.>

13. Favorite Antagonist?
Hmm does Bianca count because she was super cool. Gnasty is probs my favorite tho.

14. Least Favorite Antagonist?
Gnasty in AHT eww

15. Favorite Development Team? (Example: Insomniac, Check Six, Etc)
Insomniac

16. Least Favorite Development Team?
Sierra

17. What year did you start playing Spyro?
2004 I think?

18. How old were you?
5 unless my math is embarrassingly wrong

19. Do you still play the classics?
Yes!!

20. Now, in a paragraph, what would be YOUR Ideal Spyro game?
Ooh um I honestly think the first one was my ideal Spyro game. So if I had to choose/make a new one, I think I'd love to see a remake of the first game but with better graphics and such...? I dunno. I feel like the first Spyro games is such a simple fun little game and it's the exact sort of thing I look for when playing video games lots of the time so I can't ask for much better <3
