There's three main models, the original, the second-gen The Legend of Spyro model, and the Skylanders model. If you want, you can name the specific game for the model.

My Favorite: the FREAKING ORIGINAL. I especially like how he looks on the cover of Spyro: Shadow Legacy!

For a fighter, though, I like the TLoS's Dawn of the Dragon model, too. I'm upset at how poorly executed the game was, though. Seriously, it was 2008, when next-gen home games were starting to REALLY look less like arcade counterparts and more like some kind of interactive action TV shows with cinematic elements (such as The Following and Game of Thrones). Some of them even had "straight from the movie" elements (NAUGHTY DOG PS3 GAMES!!!!), but I felt like Dawn of the Dragon (not the flash game on Kongregate, if you're a 7-year-old who hasn't heard about any Spyro before Skylanders) was really more of a take-home arcade game. Most of the elements in the game can be easily compared to that of Time Crisis 4, if you imagine it as a game that isn't completely round-based and let's you have a little more freedom for going around the levels. I'm not saying the game is bad, though, and it DID try to be emotional like its previous games. In my opinion, it's a better love story than Twilight.

Skylanders Spyro...don't know a lot about him. I mean, he looks like a fierce devil, which I actually kind of like NOW, but I can't believe it. Is this another guy, or did Spyro have another plastic surgery?

Oh, so you're going for a mini game type of thing.

I was thinking have a 2-4 player story mode type of game, where you make your own dragon and play with friends. Either in the Insomniac original trilogy worlds, or the TLOS world. But someone better not do the art style of DOTD.

So I'm thinking of bringing back the swimming mechanics, but I realized I'd need some underwater enemies, too.

All I have in mind right now is sharks and Shadow Fish. You can do a last-minute shot to avoid death by a shark's bite, but Shadow Fish would be sea creatures with arms, and they're armed with spears, some with guns.

I choose the DoTD Spyro model... He looks very powerful and very brave...

Misleading title. Loco, please take your fan game ideas to the Fandom section where they belong instead of posting them over and over and over in the General section.

Still it's misleading, Loco. "New Fan Spyro Game" would be more appropriate so users won't be disappointed that you drew them in with a false title over a fan game you strongly believe is official enough.

Well, to be honest, that can only be good for multiplayer. There'll be a point in story mode when Spyro would need to go to a night club, though. At least THAT can work.

DOTD's scene after the credits says otherwise.Also,most of what you're saying is still fanfic and headcanon,it's no different than the other ones.

As much as that idea sounds like SOMETHING, that CANNOT be in a new Spyro game. If Spyro isn't involved, it ain't a Spyro game.

There's never going to be a new Spyro game and this topic seems more about fanon/fanfic, so... :D This is a fanfic I'm a chapter away from completing called "Heart of the World".

Faith is for religion, not a video game franchise. I've been following this series since it was just a demo disc in a PSM magazine and I'm old enough to know how giant corporations like ActiVision really work. Skylanders is what Spyro is now, LoS was an overall failure for the company and they will not be revisiting it. If there is ever another actual Spyro game, it's going to be tied in with Skylanders and might be vaguely related to the Insomniac originals, but that's a very unlikely thing given how overwhelmingly successful Skylanders is. And that doesn't bother me one bit. :)

Loco, I know you're obsessed creating a sequel for Shadow Legacy and other Spyro games as excuses to add in your fanfics, but this is getting a little out of hand...

I'm kind of with Aura here. Just get what you want to do done and stop talking about it until you've got something to show. Elsewise you're the same as the dozen or so other people over the years who've talked up their fan projects and have absolutely nothing to show for them. Enthusiasm is nice and all, but finished work is of much more interest and value.

He's been doing this kind of thing since he joined. It's already getting a little annoying, to some of us I believe. I wouldn't be surprised if he only joined JUST to advertise his fanfic and fan ideas and nothing more.

What I'm saying is that you should finish your project in full before continuing to bring it up. What you've posted up there is just fan art, nothing more. The only person it has relevance to is you. The rest of us aren't going to care until you give us some context we are interested in (i.e., a finished piece of work). Not saying this to be mean, this is just how humans work.

What if the original Spyro had a special powerup in which magic balls would come out of his mouth as if he were his own machine gun?

And yes, I know it's weird, but think about it...would it be awesome?

Yeah, but the only thing that doesn't make sense about the move is that they moved the Spyro memes. Seriously, the memes have almost NOTHING to do with my idea.
