Got to the TRU that's closest to my work and they 4 boxes of the Swappers but no regular figures. I hauled ass to the TRU which is the one closer to my house to see if they had any others. I went in figuring they would be out but I was able to snag all the ones I wanted except for BB Trigger Happy. Not too worried since he's a repose as I'm sure he'll be highly available soon enough.

The TRU by my work had lots of wave one and some of wave 2 today. I picked up Gorilla Drilla, Boom Jet, Scorp, and Riptide. No Legendaries out today. I'm waiting for legendary Night Shift and Jade Fire Kracken.

Longsh0t....same as my TRU....but...I had them carefully go thru stock.room and they founs one box of the other wave 2's. Id b willing to bet it is there

Complaining to store managers does work. There are too many stories of people complaining and managers then limiting purchases. She would have given him the stink-eye, but he would have walked out with his figures.

Buying up the common figures does seem silly considering the profit return. I would think Scalpers would focus on the exclusives. We've already had two iterations of Skylanders and I think people are being smarter about Swap Force. Figures are plentiful and it will be a matter of time, and not long, before any that run out will be back on the shelves.

I did manage to capture the Swappers.... but saving them. Maybe their task money will be replaced with swappers this week?

To be perfectly honest, if wave 3 came out tomorrow I think I'd be ok with it. The money I've parted ways with this week has already passed into absurd levels, another wave won't change that. But at least the BOGO 40% would still be going on, it's not going to last forever

Picked up all four swappers, and all the normal guys except terrafin, we already had him from the battle pack. With the sale in effect we even saved 26 bucks!!!!! There are decent amounts of wave two swappers at the TRUs in denver so good luck colorado hunters

The TRU I went to was polite and well ordered. they had them behind the counter and let the lady know which ones you wanted. I don't think she was keen on giving out two, and no one seemed to ask while I was there. Don't think I saw anyone leave without a complete set (well except me LOL.)

Closest TRU to me had 0 out on the normal shelves. I looked behind the counter in the electronics section and they were on a big cart. I walked backed there and grabbed the 4 new swappers.

Seems like they had everything though.

I decided to spring for the new 12 (-1 Terrafin - Already had). Since it is basically $11 more (Cost of 1 figure) to get them early. I decided it was worth it. And that is, if TRU has the BOGO when the 3-Packs are released, other wise it is $2 more - Well worth it, in that aspect. Now my son can complete level 1 with the Dig capability.

My TRU in NJ had all the listed wave 2 characters, but not in large quantities. There were enough left as of this afternoon to allow maybe three more people to get every wave 2 figure. It's possible they weren't all on the shelf, though. They did have all the pegs filled except for the wave 2 ones.

I picked up Rip Tide this morning, but waited on the other 6. Also grabbed all 4 SF (and my EHL came in today!):




Did anyone else have a terrible time finding good paint? My TRU got everything in (had to open the boxes though), but it took me forever to find reasonably good paint.

My Night Shift is absolutely awful.. His eyes are horribly scratched. His arm is also VERY loose.

Surprisingly enough, the rest look amazing. Dammit.


Anyway, I did get all of this Wave, EXCEPT Terrafin. Not going that crazy with this game.

If he's thay bad Matteomax....take him back. Course i don't understand why you didn't see that when you first pulled him off the hook(the scratched eyes part not the arm )....i always look at them carefully, since im such a stickler for detail.

Altho if you are a painter, you can fix his eyes rather easily and squirt some instant adhesive around the arm.

I'd like to enquire your reasoning on this. I find it too overpriced to buy one I already have. Not impressed with Nitro Magna Charge being a double pack.

However, if you don't have any until the double and triples are out and you can hit a good sale, they do (well should) become cheaper. Triple packs are we obtained most of our giants characters.

I have enough trouble convincing them to split the cost on a b1g1 40%off for lego. Skylanders would be worse.

Kids are going to have one heck of a Christmas. Not even entirely skylander related. Right now I'm waiting for money to free up next month so I can pay off lay away and order a few more Japanese/Rare transformers. I have a lot of pre-orders arriving this month in addition to all the skylander fun.

I just got a managerial job with GameStop so as soon as I get my first paycheck I'm going hunting. xD I did manage to put the four swappers on layaway today AND the really awesome part was it sealed in the BOGO 40% deal going on right now which I was absolutely ecstatic about.

I'm doing a lot of shopping this year for my little sister, and she gave me some awesome ideas of things to get her for Christmas.. She's begging me for Disney Infinity, and the collector in me is totally willing to oblige. After only having to put down 5.76 for 4 swappers, then to watch them box it all up for me so they can't get switched out was really nice, and TRU will definitely have my business this holiday season with treatment like that.

TRU in Beavercreek Ohio had Wave 2 this morning - nicely displayed on a table as soon as you walked in. The table was totally cleared off before 10:05 thanks to some lady who filled her entire cart with all the figures she could. She told me she needed them for "party favors" for her son's birthday party. I should have pointed out all the Wave 1 figures on the shelves behind me. I did manage to grab a Night Shift off the table before she started grabbing them and then I found a Fire Kraken mixed in with the Wave 1 figures. So far only found one fire krakan, seems to be the rare one at least here in PA. checked 4 toysrus, nadda. Going retry one i was at tuesday. Maybe they got wave 2 in finally as of tuesday night they knew nothing abt wave 2.

Mine did the same. She said they only had a few of each and there was like 7 Portal Masters in line waiting with her along with a scalper. Apparently the scalper was grabbing all of wave two but she asked if he would leave a few for her, and since she's a woman the man could not refuse I guess LOL. Poor lonely scalper. So if it wasn't for her being there at opening they would have been long gone by the time I got off work.

I haven't really had a chance to talk to my wife about her time getting them - I got home after midnight from work and she has to get up early (although, really, so do I... but I can't sleep). Receipt shows she paid at about 3:30, but she went to the *other* Toys R Us that's in a much smaller market, so I'm not surprised she was able to get everything.

Nothing for wave 2 at my Toys R Us yesterday after work...They said come back today cuz "the external guy comes in the morning and sets them out." *shrugs* My guess is they were in a box in the back room. LOL I wasn't shy though...I asked. Another family was there with their little boy as I asked...I was hoping they had them just to see his face light up as some of the wave 2 guys are really cool. But alas, no dice.

My local TRU had six full boxes of swappers and two boxes of cores and a whole cart full of wave one boxes! So I got them before they were put out on pegs late Tuesday afternoon, I also think Free Range is going to be the next flash wing with that one being the most over stocked in my area.

Absolutely nothing in central Texas.

I stopped at a TRU on way home from work that I knew was, uh, "less frequented", by people and sure enough all four swappers were still there as well as all of the regular figures from wave 2. Grabbed the four swappers as well as the regular guys and I will just have to return the TRU.com ordered ones and eat shipping. No biggie. So happy to get BBTH! Too bad he has only one new wow-pow move, but it is cool...

BTW - sky diamond on test dummies works in Wii-U version as well. TH auto machine gun can really rack up the cash... Place him back a ways and stand 2nd player fig next to the dummy to collect the loot. ;-)

I wanted to highlight this and see if others know anything about this.
Both of the Toys R Us locations near me had multiple staff members this week telling me that a third-party distributor is doing all their shelf/peg-stocking for Skylanders Swap Force, after business hours (at night or early morning).

What's up with that?

Those toysrus don't know how to stock toys on a shelf....wait aint that a job reguirement??

Either that or their employees watched the swap force intro at the display that says toys have brains and think the toys are watching them and may come alive at some point, as they are atm just "frozen".

Or.. maybe they mean the overnight crew.

lady_valdyme now I see your logic. Thank you. Three packs are awesome when you have none! Loved the GS promo over the summer. We had a ton of the giants characters thanks to that.

It is also where I caught the bug for collecting Skylanders.

It's not about job requirements or ability to put figures on the pegs. Grocery stores do this all the time, they send people in to arrange their allocated shelf space. That way they can arrange things in the most appealing manner and maximize the space. It also helps them track what is popular and what is not which can help shape future shipments.

LOL This explains so much! I went in to my TRU yesterday in my business casual attire and with a clipboard I keep with me that has my kids' wish list on it. I asked if they had put wave 2 out yet and no one knew anything about it. After about 5 minutes, a guy comes out of the back, looks at me and my highlighted list of Skylanders, escorts me to the back and into a locked office. He pointed to the boxes, gave me a cart, had me put the boxes in the cart, walked me out of the warehouse and back to the electronics section, and told me where the Skylanders were displayed. I wondered why he was telling me where they were displayed when we had just established they had not been put out yet!

I am always nice and willing to help when folks are trying to help me but I hope they dont dock my pay for opening the boxes, taking what I wanted and not stocking the shelves....

He assumed you were a vendor, as some stores leave that inventory for them to put out. In other words whoever did it was pretty dumb and was left wondering at the end of the day "why didn't he put them on the shelf?"

Went after work and they only had Night Shift and Grilla Drilla left.. Really wanted Fire Kraken and Boom Jet .. Hopefully they get more stock in? When do other retailers get them? Anybody know?

Complete Wave 2 is out in every major German store but looks like limited quantities.

I went to the main TRU I go to today to see what they had. They seemed to have all the Wave 2 core characters, but I didn't see a single W2 Swapper. Weird.

It says they are now there. ?(as of the date of the ad), which leads me to beleive target will get wave two sometime this week, like friday maybe?

Anyone found any of wave 2 in the UK, except for the Swaplander double packs at Argos?
