Making last minute purchase preparations - may have to consider trading in/selling some stuff if I want to make my 'lander list.

Same here. We have to wait till Friday and my boy is at school so have to wait for him to finish school first arghhhh.

It's four days. I'm going to be so busy with my job and real life that it'll go by pretty quick.

Nothing compared to the two year wait for the original Animal Crossing, that's for sure.

That being said, I ordered mine on GAME's website, so chances are I may get them on the Thursday anyway. Already making plans with trading/selling figures to get money and credit for more, so all's good.

I know it is sooooooooooooo annoying!

guys ive heard no end about the US store exclusives, i can only presume where the UK store exclusives will be based on the giants selections. but has there been any conformation about where the variants will be stocked in UK?
right now im simply presuming:
nitro magna charge : tesco
enchanted hoot loop : asda

ive preordered my dark set from game, and i know the legendaries will be at toys r us obviously, im just trying to catch the variants as i have no way i can afford all of wave 1 in one go. so trying to focus on the 'rares'.

also the US has these deals in TRU, such as free gill grunt if you spend over $100, and buy one get one 40% off.
does anyone know if these deals translate into the UK? because my entire purchasing plan may have to change if i can get a free figure at TRU just for spending money there.

Also, I'm probably going to get for Christmas... (I always get Legendaries for Christmas lol)

So close now. What's made the whole waiting game more annoying is the fact that the US now has wave 2 also, yet we still have not got the game. How the heck is that fair?

I'm feeling fine about waiting because I've got Pokemon X to keep me occupied. In fact if anything I'm worried, because once the game releases in the UK and I make the new Tier List thread, I might update it too slowly because i'm still preocupied with Pokemon X.

Lol Pokemon X is a really great game am addicted to it.

I'm afraid to say, I've had to write a very strongly-worded email to GAME regarding my pre-order experience. Having shopped with them online for over five years now, I've experienced no problems and any quibbles I've had have been promptly resolved.

My Dark Starter pack still hasn't been processed. Apparently this is because my payment from Paypal got "stuck" and they need to manually process it (funny, given that my other pre-order on the same Paypal account went through just fine). Three times I tried to talk to them about this on their webchat. Twice I wasn't really helped (one person claimed it was being processed and the other didn't have much to say), and the third time I was called the wrong name and then ignored until the chat timed out.

I sent an email this morning to which I got a reply. Apparently, not only is my order going to be late, but because I paid via Paypal, apparently I won't even get the free Giant figure. To top that off, in the reply I received, I was told that people were supposed to put the figure in the same time as the starter pack, not getting a voucher as the site says.

Needless to say, I'm not a happy bunny. I can wait, don't get me wrong, but I shouldn't have to.

I would of cancelled it and went straight to the shop and pre-ordered one. I hate ordering things from game as when I did my first order a few years back I never received it and it was a long wait for my refund.

I work full-time and am caring for a family, so I wouldn't have had time. Plus the shops are frequently more expensive.

Anyway, I got £5 of reward points for my trouble. After that, they cancelled my order, so I naturally wrote even more strongly-worded emails when they told me to re-order but I wouldn't get my £15 discount. Someone 'phoned me and placed the order with the discount, but it will be a few days before I get it.

EDIT: THEY CANCELLED IT AGAIN.

I think I'm not meant to have the Dark Edition somehow.

Does anyone know whether Tesco will be putting things on the shelves at midnight? I'm planning to go there but I don't want to go all that way if they don't.

You should check sevral ebgames stores. Here in Germany some Gamestops are putting wave 2 guys on the shelfs. Which means that the Americans arent the only ones that get wave 2 early

A few hours until lauch day! But longer to get the game.

Finally got to pick up my Dark Edition Starter this morning! Plus lightcore Hex.
The shop as a whole was unprepared though.
The preorders were available but nothing else.

They had taken down most of the Giants packages to make room for the Swap Force but had not got round to actually placing them.
They would do that sometime in the morning but I had to go tho work so could not wait on that and they were unwilling to go in the back to find the ones I wanted.

So no additional swappers for me today.

France here, have a dark edition pack ordered for xbox ... haven't got a clue about what will be in store this afternoom .... suprise surprise !
