Nice find. I wasn't going to bother getting Swap Force until Fire Kraken is released. However, those pre-order bonuses are tempting. I might pre-order the 3DS version.

Ash64, I know this because I went on the website to check out to see whether they had any figures up yet.

They have an advertisement stating that all games pre-ordered this weekend only will get double points. Anyone who has already put an order on though will get the voucher for the Skylander toy.

And glad I could be of help, Star Dragon! I was much the same, but managed to sell enough stuff to pay for the PS3 Dark Edition and the 3DS version, as well as the Tower of Time.

Ye thanks saw the ads on the webpage. So they will handout the voucher when I collect my starter I guess?

They should do if you've pre-ordered in-store.

That being said, I would seriously recommend printing the webpage that states that you're entitled to a Skylanders toy voucher. My GAME, as great as some of the people working there are, doesn't exactly have the best track record when it comes to pre-order bonuses (an example being when I pre-ordered Mario and Luigi for the 3DS; they tried to get away with only giving me one pre-order item).

We'll if you ordered online it says you will be sent a voucher and the free Hex you should just get it with your order. In the shop you will get the hex as long as they have enough. But don't know really about the free figure as it's not advertised any Where in the store I went today.
I took a screen capture of the ad on the web page as advised above and will show them on release date. But am not really bothered about the free giants figure as I have them all.

You will get both figures.

Lightcore Hex comes as standard; the free Giants toy depends on what you've ordered.

You will get a voucher for a Giant if you order the Dark Edition. You can choose from the following characters:

Swarm
Crusher
Hot Head
Thumpback
Eyebrawl

Although I have all of these, I'm choosing Thumpback. Reason being that I ordered him online and when I got the figure, the paint was perfect asides from a giant chip on one of his fingers (only noticeable from certain angles but enough to annoy me). It's part of why I don't really order figures online where I can help it. Maybe my second one will look a bit better. Eyebrawl I also ordered online but he's pretty much fine. I bought Swarm and Crusher and went through all the figures to get the best-looking ones, and my brother bought Hot Head under the same instructions.

As for the other starter packs (on all systems, including 3DS), you get a choice from these Skylanders:

Cynder
Chill
Hex
Shroom Boom
Gill Grunt
Lightning Rod

I'm going Hex for this one.

I have at least one of every character already, and getting a Lightcore Hex (or in my case, a second and third Lightcore Hex), this might seem an odd choice. But I really love the figure for Hex; I think the skulls are an amazing detail. The rest of the characters, I already have as S2, with the exception of Cynder (I prefer the S1 figure), Shroom Boom (I have as a Lightcore) and Lightning Rod (I'm not fond of the character and I think the S2 looks worse).

Then I have a GAME gift card. Armed with the Thumpback to trade in, I'll put it towards the Nitro Magna Charge (if it's a GAME exclusive), and trade in whoever I get it with (as I'll already have those Swaplanders) towards another figure! If Nitro isn't a GAME exclusive, I'll just put the money towards some of the Lightcore figures.
