Well i think it is sort of, because if u think about it Spyro is like Luke Skywalker, Cynder is like Lair Skywalker, The dark master is like darthvador , Sparx is like 3po and so on. smilie smilie smilie

i agree lotr is way closer, at least to the tlos games. but star wars? what kind of cruel twisted thing happened to your mind to get that idea?

Um no.Spyro is a purple dragon born once every ten generations,Cynder is more like Mewtwo,and Sparx is more like Navi.Luke is some guy that was son of someone evil.

Um...noooooooooooo.......now that's weird, why would they make a video game about dragons based after Star Wars? Couldn't the Star Wars company sue them about that if they did? Then again, the final boss in KH2 uses lightsabers, so maybe they wouldn't sue them? I dunno, seems wayyy out there to me

i kinda agree with u and i get what were talking about but remarking on the charectors hunter could be like chuboco exept he can talk and ignitus can b like Obi-yon

No, it's nothing like that overrated Star wars...

It's too much like a Walden Media fantasy thing if you ask me... not sure what though. Besides, there's not enough orchestral bombing and purple is legendary.

^Well, for one, Spyro has a lot of the same generic lines that Frodo has. Plus, the plot elements are pretty similar, and some of the battles have similarities.

And to state the obvious, Spyro is voiced by the guy who played Frodo. And the guy who plays the Chronicler also plays the Wizard guy (Gandorf?) from LotR.

That doesn't really justify though as being a LotR clone. If anything, it's like a mix of the Spiderwick Chronicles and Harry Potter with that one legendary color and a lot of primates breaking stuff.

LOS seems like LOTR because Tolkien pretty much redefined modern high fantasy...

Although, most of LOTR is based off of a Wagner opera... so....
