I think she's a great addition to the storyline because it gives us a fresh new villain to beat, other than Kaos who (to me) was starting to get repetitive and bland.

Well of we know of the plot.
It appears she (or Kaos) is using petrified darkness to evilize the creatures of skylands.
So maybe one of them will evilize a gentle giant to cause chaos in skylands

I think it would be funny if it turns out she looked like a cute, blond, typical suburban housewife - and that she loves and dotes on Kaos. Mainly because that would subvert expectations.

Especially if it turns out that she's still the one with the 'evil plan'... stealing the magic for use in cosmetics or something.

Not showing the villians face is like in a movie were you see the face near the end when the hero confronts the villain.
