They actually turned out a bit better than the first pasty-colored cast image. I think a few have a lot of potential with some custom painting work. Spyro's probably the best as-is, but Kaos is nice to see too!

Yeah man..what exactly does each one do? If you kept their little papers, what was on them? Was there anything inside their baggies?

Just took my kid to McDonald's and they gave him a rise of the guardians tooth fairy. Allittle while later I noticed a kid had spyro and I tried to exchange it and was told they didn't have them.

The kid states in the video that he got them through his Uncle who works at a McDonalds (Office), maybe a Manager.

I called McDees here, spoke with the manager, she told me that if we came in tonight and asked specifically for the Skylanders that we can get them with the Happy Meal, otherwise they are trying to get rid of the old toys until tomorrow when the promotion officially starts. I think I may have some nuggets tonight to test the waters (my impatience sometimes pays off). on a side note we rarely eat fast food. EDIT: went to McDees found out they have been giving these and selling them since lunch, spoke with another person who actually knew what was going on, was able to get pick up a Happy Meal with Tree Rex, and get Gil Grunt, and Spyro, who btw looks the best, for $1.90 each after tax. They had the display out as well since this morning.

Wonder if this coupon works on Amazon (some idiot/extremely giving person put up the giants starter pack including gnarly rex for $50)? anyway, if these figures don't work in game, then I don't want them...

Not sure where you live dude, but I'm pretty certain that Toys R Us sells the 3DS starter pack for 49.99.

Maybe call Amazon customer service? I doubt they will honour it though.

Actually, Amazon, and Kmart I believe, have it for only $40. So if you pay $30, that's basically paying to get a giant and two normal characters. If you don't have the giants starter pack, (but do have the owner's pack), you get a second rex and two new characters!
Wonder if and when these'll come to Asia?
