Does anyone know if it will be available for ps4 (swap force)?

Does anyone think ps4 sales will effect swap force sells (help or hurt) since both are slated for nov. and the ps4 is around $600 after tax for the larger model.

Probably not. Unless they make a special game for it.

i expect it will be available for ps4, activision have obviously known about the ps4 for some time as they have other games in production for it.

it will probably be a release game similar to how the wii u got the game when it released.

not this SSF game as they will be developing new engine again but for sure the next skylanders game will be and TFB IS currently developing it.

Possible later release like wii u? Maybe. Not likely but maybe.

They probably won't for a while. Just like with the Wii U.

Yeah, Actis gonna give people time to adapt to it before dropping the PS3.

swap force will not be available for the ps4 or the x720, the game is already gone why behind that point now to be profitable to do that. but the next game that will be released in 2014 will be for the ps4/x720. the 2014 skylanders game will also be made by 'toy for bob', it will be better, bigger and have online game play. i will save my dollars for that game and just drop the swap force game totally.

Activision has investments for a launch game for the PS4. Skylanders is not a title on that list though.

The game they are gearing first is Destiny. A Sci-fi FPS made by Bungie. It even resembles Halo. True story.

bungie and toy for bob are two different developers and they also have two different customers groups... and its to early for a new skylanders game at release.. they have swap forces first for last gen, then toy for bob will deliver their skylanders game in late 2014 for the ps4/x720. it just makes sense...

yes and it will also finally have the online game play we all is waiting for. because the ps4 will have focus on the social gaming and it is build around it from the ground.

Swap Force will likely be a PS3 game. The PS4 has been slated for a December release. Swap Force has been announced for a fall release. Logic dictates it will not be a PS4 game based on that alone. I doubt that they would choose something like Skylanders to be one of their first games for the new system as most of the first titles will be for older gamers and parents won't be rushing out to buy this new system at full price just so they can get the Skylanders game on it. No, I think it would be ill-advised to release on the PS4. Perhaps if there is a 4th game in the series or a 5th, but even then there are no guarantees. It takes time for a new console to take off and for everyone to switch over - they will look at whether their target market is making the jump or not. Parents are more likely to buy the Wii U than the PS4, IMO, and since kids are the primary market for Skylanders...
