Ok, so I want to collect all of the new skylanders, from Swap force, Series 3 and everything.
I also want to collect the lightcore characters. But something bugs me about them.
The only thing special to them, is the lightbomb effect, and the lighting up effect on the figure, and even that gets skimpy sometimes, look at Drobot!
But there needs to be more! This needs to be changed, I want to buy the new figures, but its like I dont want to, at the same time.

Getting to my point, heres what I think should be added, to the series 3 lightcore characters:
-More Light! Drobot could have got alot more lights. His eyes, body, and thrusters could have lit up. Same with Eruptor, it just looks like a circle of light inside his mouth.
-Different choice of figures. I still don't understand why they chose Eruptor over Ignitor, or jet-Vac over Lightning Rod.
-More in-game abilities. Please V-V, add the Wowpows from series, 3 but add a new Light-Pow ( lightcore wow-pow) too, to make the figures worth it ingame too.

If you guys agree with me, please try and help me out and make this happen. Face it, it will help us all.
I don't know if pentitions ever work on this site, or if ANY have ever gone through, but please, don't hate.

Well this would be Activision's second time making LC characters, so maybe they would add more by realizing what people want.

sign, they need to be more then s1 with lightbomb ...and they need to be less of an embarrassment like hothead/drobot

I agree. I think they could've done so much more with LightCore. Heck, they could have even put some of their attacks in it. Like, some sort of transparent light-up red beams coming from Drobot's eyes for his lasers.

If LC isn't going to be at least as good as the regular version of the character I will not bother. Being new to Skylanders with Giants and going a little crazy on my first shopping trip for them, I picked up LC Drobot & Eruptor before realizing they were actually weaker than the S2 versions of those characters, even though they cost more.

The light up effects are weak and while the technology is neat, it's not really as impressive as they want us to think it is. That is, it's not enough to justify the extra cost. For kids "it lights up" kinda became unimpressive in about 1978, the lack of a battery not withstanding (kids don't care). For adults, it's more an intellectual response of "cool, how'd theydo that?" rather than "oh, gotta have that"

About the only think the LCs have going for them is that they generally are better poses than the core versions (although not even that holds true across all 8 characters)

Anyway, without wow pows and path switching, no matter how cool a pose or how good the light effect is, I will not be buying another Lightcore character (assuming a regular version exists as well)

Petitions to Activision won't work, they simply ignore petitions.

I hope that the LCs for SG was a learning experience for them and that they improve their value in their second generation.

I hope Acti makes the lightcores better! I hate drobot now (not really) because of his lightcore!!!

just make every figure LC period and ill make a disco ball out of these skylanders but really just make every piece of them LC newlanders having the LC bomb just my opinion tho hehe
