This is a Contest for those that are interested in creating New Skylanders or for Electronically (or manually) changing figures/swapping pieces of them with other skylanders, to create cool skylanders.

On the last Saturday of every month, I will begin to judge. This officially starts on the 1st November but you can prepare them before.

The prize is an Avatar of your Custom Creation, done by ME. It is of the face of the Skylander and possibly the body.

On the last Month of each year, the winners of all the previous contests will match up against each other and the winner will get a special prize that will be different each December. A regular contest will not happen that month.

The RULES...

You can't copy somebody else's idea for a New Skylander, Electronically/manually changed figures must contain a pic and can't be copied from somebody else. For the New Skylanders, you must either create a good drawing or a detailed description of the character (or both).

You can only place one entry per month.

If you dislike your post then you can edit it and place the new Skylander.

After the last Saturday of the month, any new posts will be disconsidered. I will judge the top 3 New Skylanders and the top 3 Electronically/manually changed figures.

You can vote on those to find out who the winner is. Finalists can vote but *NOT FOR THEMSELVES!* if they do they will be disqualified.

Appearance
Wraith-like in appearance with a ghastly, horned skull that floats at the top of her form. She has a great sword with ancient writing embedded in it and it has ice coating it to the rim. There are blood red balls of fear that float around her. She also has spiritual cuffs lined with made of Heavy Duty Plasma.

Story

Skiáskotein was once a Dark Sorcerer who meddled with the stings of reality itself by performing a ritual which granted her with eternal life and power. Her body however, grew old and eventually died, leaving her a wreck of a life-form. She had herself cremated by sending mind signals to Her few friends who did it and burnt Her body. Her soul then rose out of the ashes a great and powerful Shadow Vessel with a cursed skull which held her mental energy. Then these golden cuffs appeared that held her life force. She decided to use her new form to bring terror to all of Skylands. However, eventually she grew very tired and wished for her existence to end. This couldn't be done by any but Double Trouble, who could use his Magic to undo the curse upon her. Double Trouble ordered her to follow Cynder around and help her with any tough foes but not under any condition to attack her or any innocent civilians. Skiáskotein follows this order zealously in the hope that eventually she will be rid of this accursed existence and just let all her suffering end.

Base attacks

Dark Strike: Slash at your enemies [primary]

Shadows of the Wind: Swing your sword around in a great twist and send out the balls of fear at surrounding enemies [secondary]

Primal Upgrades

1- Curse of Corruption: Dark Strike leaves a mark which damages enemies
2- Ebon Gargoyle: Shadows of the wind lasts longer and you can move while doing it
3- Raw Darkness Shout: Roar at enemies with Raw Darkness and burn holes in their very existence [tertiary]
4- Bane of Agony: Dark Mark damages enemies for increased time.

Upgrade Paths

Runes of the Forge

1- Stoneskin Rune - Dark Strike is more powerful
2- Tactical Knowledge - A + A + X (hold) = Point you sword upwards and do a sort of cartwheel with it sticking out
A + A + B (hold) = Blade shoots out on a chain damaging enemies that are far away.
3- Feel my suffering - Enemies killed by Dark Strike turn into mini-wraiths that attack enemies

Howls of Sorrow

1- Dark Clouds - Shadows of the Wind does increased damage
2- Plagued Roar - Raw Darkness Shout stuns enemies
3- Mourn for the dead - Charge up Shadows of the wind to unleash a great tornado of darkness that sucks in enemies

Soul Gem


Death
Cuffs fall of and the shadow vessel turns into a tornado and disappears. Then the skull falls on the ground and lies there with glowing blue eyes as if it is staring at the Portal Master.

Not in the actual game! Thats just an example of a good layout for a New Skylander. I'm not saying its going to go into the next game of Skylanders, if there is one...

I did not see that. The last few I went on either have the guy running it off the sight or the thing closed. Anyway, there are a lot of contests I have seen, so if there are lots then there isn't just one topic and probably loads are being created as a type.

I don't want them to allow Skiaskotein, its just an example. Anyway, if you think closely about Ghost-toaster, he's pretty creepy, Skiaskotein is no worse than Hex or Ghost roaster. If you think the pic is scary or something, then fine, you can do a scary pic, it isn't going in the real game unless you pester them,and even then... unlikely.

P.S Anyway, my brother, who's 8, said that if that was in the game, he'd pay £300 for it, and he's a kid. Anyway, not directed to go in the actual game, directed at the things listed above.

That's because he's a boy. Of course he's going to want a ghost with a giant sword who's been revived and cremated or whatever.

Anyway... if you want to create a skylander and have its face as an Avatar or a Custom-made one then fine, otherwise...
