My daughter Victoria (who has been in the hospital since birth) passed away. I know its an odd request for this website, but i talk to you guys on here more than i talk to anyone else online. If my little girl can be in your prayers tonight fellow skylander fans, i would greatly appreciate it.

I am so sorry to hear about Victoria--you and your family are most definitely in my prayers. I wish you strength and courage and peace as you mourn her loss.

I'm relatively new to this board, but I have been a member of others for years and I understand that even people who have never met IRL can become a family of sorts. When you're hurting, your online family can be at least a small source of hope and comfort, no matter the distance.

Sorry for your loss. I couldn't fathom what it feels like to lose a kid. I don't know what I'd do if I lost mine.

Everytime I hear of kids dying, it gets me thinking how a lot of the worlds' problems, fabricated by us humans, are so small.

I'm not very religious. So I guess I don't belong in this thread.
But I just wanted to say, I'm sorry for your loss. It must be terrible losing a kid. I don't want to think about what would happen if I had one and lost him/her.. :l
I'm really sorry to hear this. I wish I could do something to help, but obviously all I can do is type.

I sincerely hope you find peace in this time. God will be your comfort and strength. I won't pretend to understand what you are facing, or how you must feel. Just know that my prayers are not for your daughter (her suffering is over, she is free!), but for you and your family. God has your daughter and will watch over her.

That's horrible news. I'm a Buddhist in real life, so I don't exactly pray, but I can certainly send whatever positive energy I can your way. No one should ever have to go through what you just did, and I only hope that you can find the strength within to carry on in this difficult time. I know it means little, but I have always appreciated your posts on this forum, and I will do whatever I can to help. Let us know if you need anything. I know I don't just speak for myself when I say that you are a friend here.

I am truly sorry to hear of your loss. I am actually an ordained minister and really feel for your loss, as I deal with these situations more often than I would like to. Know that God is able to comfort you and bring you and your family through this terrible time. When these things happen we question God but know this: That what the devil meant for bad God will turn around for good. I am so sorry for you and your family and cannot even imagine what it is like to loose a child. One of my friends recently lost his 6 year old son, who was very healthy no illnesses, the family got up one Sunday to go to Church (they have 5 0r 6 other children) and he was not breathing and he just died. These events and tragedies that happen make us question a lot of things. It is really difficult to know what to say, but I know that God is the only one who can truly bring you and your family through this tragedy, and to a place of acceptance, so that you are able to move on as a family. Always remember the time you had with your daughter, and try, no matter how hard it seems to remember to celebrate her life as you mourn her passing. The Bible says "Mourning only lasts for a night and Joy comes in the morning" I know that you cannot possible feel any joy at this time, but at least you know she is in Heaven in the Arms of a Loving Savior and any suffering she may have endured is now over. May God truly bless and comfort you and your family and may He guide you on your journey to put in place the things He has in store for you. Victoria will always be a part of you and always be remembered as the wonderful little girl that she was. God is able to give you hope and peace. A peaceful night's rest to you and your family. God bless and be with you always. May His true peace and rest be upon you and your entire family. I will continue to pray for you and your family for the next several days, and will also take a special healing communion for you in the morning. I'm really sorry for your loss. Her body may be gone but her spirit will live on forever. She will visit you even if you don't notice. (I've had family members that have passed visit me before even ones that I barely knew). I just made a prayer for her and I know that she's fine and will be waiting for you. Death happens, you know....Can't hide from it, or anything. And it's a real downer, and a touchy subject.... But you got good people here; me included , that can help you get though tough times like this.

This is so sad, especially because it reminds me of a similar loss involving me and my family. I dont pray but I will for you.

..... Personally I feel rally depressed right now hearing this. I mean it's bad to see a little kid die. I am very sorry for your loss. At least you know she is in a better place in the hands of God as we speak. Being your first child, I presume, it must be really tough to handle. If it were mine I would have died inside and bawled for the longest time.
My brother is the same way. You see he was only born at five months. He was one pound and as big as the palm of an adults hand. He was in the hospital for three months. Being little, I didn't know what was going on. My brother had breathing problems and things were not looking good. But, one day the doctor told my parents he would be fine and able to live. Everyone othe family rejoiced. Now he is thirteen and healthy. However he has sceropolsy (I don't know how to spell it), which causes him to walk funny on one leg, and is getting worse. He has I hard time focusing on things and shudders a lot. The doctor says he won't pass five feet it a least he's alive.
I feel very sorry for your loss. But I'm sure you will have other kids. I don't want. To sound mean there if I did, but don't let this get in your way of life. You and your wife should have more children I mean this happens on rare occasions that a baby dies, but you aren't the only ones. A lot of people know what it feels like and wha you are going through. I hope you and your wive can have more children. Again don let this he to you. Sure it's depressing but think of all the other kids you can have. Make this a story for your kids and grand kids. Tell them that when things don't turn about right it's ok to be sad. But don't get caught up on it or you tend to lose interest in things and you way of life. I don't mean to offend you if I do, but this is one obstacle of live. If you don pass through, how will you ever get to go where you want. Again, I am deeply sorry for your loss.
