Do you say it like 'Zuk' (rhyming with 'Book') or say 'Zook' (Using the regular 'oo' sound)?
I say it like 'Zook' with the double 'o' sound.

i heard toys for bob pronounce it with the double oo like zoo so thats how i always have pronounced it

^ Not true, there are some four letter words that end with a "k" and have double "o's" that don't sound like book. For example, the words dook (which is a wooden plug for holding nails or screws), kook (an eccentric/crazy person) and spook are some that I know. Zook is meant to be pronounced like these words and not like book or cook. Like others said, it's an abbreviation of the word "bazooka".

I'm three quarter Kiwi, so my friend always pays out my accent because I say Zook almost like the way you pronounce 'suck'. He says it's halfway between the 'book' sound and the 'suck' sound every single time I say it.

I do too even though I know I'm saying it wrong. Its just a habit and have no idea how it started.

This is funny. I have pronounced him as "Zuk" (like book, but with a Z) since I got him. Doubt I could change it now, even if I am wrong....

I say it like you would say Bazooka with out the Ba and the Uh, since he gets his name from the Bazooka he carries.

When I first got Zook, I pronounced it "Zuk" (rhymes with book.)
It wasn't until about a month later when I finally realized he was named after his weapon, a bazooka. Ever since then, I've been pronouncing it "Zook" (rhymes with fluke.)
I can't believe it took me a month to figure out that connection.

i think its zook with the double o thing but coinoptv says zuk
