What hats would you give to spyro gillgrunt and trigger happy if you want i will recommend some hats if you ask me

The best overall hats are Speed and Crit. Hits. That's basically all you need with Skylanders; Move fast and hit hard.

Pirate hat for any character who already has any form of moving quickly, Lil' Devil or Winged Hat (once DP is out) for those characters who don't. So, to answer your question, Pirate on Spyro and Gill, Devil for Trigger Happy.

I like the rabbit ears. They have a good chunk of speed and defense, while looking stylish on any Skylander you equip them on!

This seems to be about style. For what it's worth, I put the purple granny hat on Eruptor and my girls thought it was soooooo funny. The cowboy hat is a must for Trigger Happy, btw! I've got a few that look really cool but will have to fire it up to see just who has what now.

I say frying pan hat for Trig, and the Napoleon hat for Gill. I haven't put a hat on Spyro tho...

Just to bear it in mind - by the looks of things, the OP only has the starter set, so recommendations are going to have to be based on the hats they can actually obtain. I can't remember which ones you can get with those three characters, so I won't make any recommendations, but I would say to try them all and see what you like!

Yes.. on the PS3 - press select, go to the right tab, down to hats and choose a new one... on the 3DS, walk over to the statue thingy on the left, press Y and select a new hat.

Not sure what it is for the other consoles but there is a way.

Thanks! Do I have to un-equip a hat from one Skylander to use it on another? None show up when I do that, even though I know I've got several. Thanks, again!

4% critical and 5% block might be small stats, but they're not insignificant. Even if they were, that would just make the +speed hat the unmatched standard, rather than encouraging people not to pick hats based on stats. Either way, they matter. There are "best" hats. Not to be a downer here, but it's true.
