Skylanders Giants are supposed to come out on October this year.

Skylanders Giants has 8 new skylanders each a giant, for each element. I can only name 3 of them.

There really should be a restriction of needed posts, or in this site's case gems needed before someone can make a new thread. Force people to actually learn the ropes.

Eh... Reporting I don't really have much faith in. Seeing as there is only one admin/moderator for the whole site and they dont seem to want to deputize anyone. Younger people (No offense to anyone here) are more likely to report people faster than older forum members. I generally just shake my head and move on with life. Most reported posts are likely to be ignored as generally a waste of time outside of blatant racism, vulgarity, sexually offensive or someone is a CONSTANT nuisance getting reported by everyone.

But I was reported by older users too.

Older by age? or Older by time on site? I'm talking about adults. Also I'm not sure what threads/posts in questions we're talking about. You shouldnt even know who reported you short of them screaming it in a thread. If the moderator is diming out users there is even a worse moderation problem than I thought.

Some of them even said it. They were even discussing about it.

Which again is a serious moderation problem. Those types of conversations should lock a thread or end up with it getting deleted completely.

I don't know if they were ever deleted. They were way before wave 3 was released though.

Anyways. Off topic. Not that there should have been a topic anyways.

I personally don't understand why it takes so many people (and specifically two members, one of whom is notorious to me for going into topics and picking on people) to come in and attack someone who is new. Especially having been here longer, you guys should really know better than to target someone and be nasty to them like this.

Everyone here was new once and everyone here has had their moments when they've not quite gotten to grips with the rules. There are nice ways of telling people things, and there's the way you guys are going about it. Just lay off and stop bullying dragon15010, okay?

Dragon15010, if you haven't given it a go already, there's a dedicated Skylanders Giants forum on the message board Just go to the main forum listings and choose it (just below the Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure forum (and Skylanders: Spyro's Universe subforum).

besides, in my non-computer life, i've been targeted since my first day of grade school. sometimes u just need to have someone to blow steam off on.

Its the Wild West in the forums, or at least the Skylanders/Giants ones. Its a wide lawless forum where every once and a while the Marshal passes through. The rest of the time the people have to police themselves. We have groups of people that try and coddle members. We have others that are somewhere in the middle that are a bit more blunt and less forgiving but generally still try and be patient. Then you have the vicious dogs that just tear into the newbies with unforgiving abandonment.

Dark really needs to bite the bullet and take in at least one or two other moderators to help maintain the site's forums. Most of these threads should be locked within two-three posts with a link to the proper location and thats the end of it. Sadly that doesn't happen. I'd love to be the "nice guy" and point people in the right direction if I could lock threads. My short time here has seen a total lack of "law" here. For the most time I'm just indifferent about it.

Not only is this a pointless topic seeing as there is another forum for this but this info is also incorrect. There are 16 new skylanders. 8 of them are giants and 8 are normal ones. There has only been one giant shown as far as i know and thats Tree Rex. I assume u thought the two normal ones shown are giants. The magic ones name is Alchemist and the the other bird one doesnt have a name yet as far as i know

So basically you're saying that because you've been bullied, you feel justified in bullying someone else.

Not how it works, I'm afraid.

I agree that moderation could be tighter around here, but from what I've heard, that's never going to be the case. All I'm saying is that there's a right and a wrong way to go about pointing someone in the right direction, and I'm personally not going to sit by and watch a new member be bullied by a couple of people who need to calm down and should really know better.
