haha no, I'm just kidding. But on a more serious note, do we know of any other celebrities who've played Skylanders? I've seen them all the time for other games and consoles, but so far I've really seen no one famous playing or endorsing Skylanders.

But seriously, I really want to know if there's other celebrities who've thus far endorsed the game at all? And whether or not that could have positive/negative promotions for the series. (Although that last part we can kind of answer now)

More sales = more games = more figures, right? Even if this is coaxing kids to play it through somewhat dishonest means and a very undesirable spokesman, the ends justify the means, don't they? If anything, this photo just makes Bieber look silly, not the game.

I like Beiber more now. It shows that even though he has bad taste in music, he has good taste in video games. Although the picture looks photoshopped.

That picture is hilarious. I am still pretty oblivious about Justin Bieber (never listened to any of his songs), but I know the hate tends to go around. I don't care either way.

its not that i shall stop playing the game or anything, but i shure am tired of seing justin bieber everywhere. and now she is here too. how sad.

I feel sorry for him, honestly. He became famous before he even learned what it was like to be a real human being, and, well, we saw where that got Michael Jackson. He's never going to want for a thing, but the experiences that make us all actual people instead of living products to be bought and sold won't, and can't, be available to him. I hate how exploitative the Bieber craze is. I know he thinks this is his dream, and what he's always wanted, but I wanted to be a video game tester when I was his age, and now that I've been out in the world and discovered who I really am, that whole career possibility seems absurd.

All I can say is, I hope things go well for him. Not with money--he's got plenty of that--but with opportunities to understand who Justin Bieber the person is, instead of simply Justin Bieber the product. Fame for the young ones is a double-edged sword.

To be on topic, I don't know if they themselves have played it, but Mike Krahulik (artist) and Jerry Holkins (writer) of Penny Arcade did two or three full strips about the game and did their own small reviews about it. It's the only time in the 10+ years the comic has been running that Spyro has even come up.
