I have the 3DS version. Legendary Spyro is pretty bad at level 5 and ALWAYS dies in ANY level! Any Help?

Go back and play some of the first levels....make him stronger, then try!

Just tried that. I created an incident with a dragon, 2 Cyclopes and an exploding barrel. Didn't end well.

Sadly, he just sucks on 3DS. Dark Spyro, who has unique, and frankly, infinitely better attacks, is by far the version's top iteration of Spyro. If you need him at 10, my advice is just to be patient. It's not gonna be easy.

I have Whirlwind, Drobot, and Zap at Lv. 10 but still can't beat Hektore. Who else should I use?

What ones do you have?

I beat Hektore with Ignitor and Stealth Elf. From your options, though, definitely Whirlwind, and take your pick from the other two.

Keep in mind I can level them up faster on 3DS but I still have Wii.

I like Zap because he is fast and anyone with wings for gliding but...

-Up Spyro to 10, and did you choose the fire breath path? He's the best with that.
-Trigger Happy with his gun path.
-Dark Spyro w/ his fire breath path and Dino Rang with his boomerang path.
-And remember the hats!

Granted, his waves are pretty shotty as an attack but his run and health are the best 2 factors.

I don't have 3DS.

There's your first problem. I think the console version is MUCH better.

Granted, the console is longer and has better game mechanics, but 3DS levels up Your Skylanders.

If you choose the right levels and know where to go and can be PATIENT, then in the console version, it's a breeze to level up.

But, that's just me. I'm a Spyro real gamer. Been ever since I was 5. I live, eat, breath, and dream Spyro.

I am a die hard Whovian (only some people will understand that) but I still am patient on the console version. 3DS is a breeze if you have Pirate Seas. Say it out loud. It rhymes.
