I've had Skylanders and the Volcanic Vault add-on for a while now, but I've only recently got a second xbox controller. Now that I have a second one, I might start doing PvP soon, however I'm not sure how to activate it (when? Where?)

Could someone please tell me how I activate the level?

You just put it on your portal, it will unlock the Volcanic Vault in your pvp levels.

Once it is unlocked in a game, then you can safely stow it away.

Or sell it on eBay amidst the Christmas rush for more single figures. People... well, hilariously overpay for that tiny little thing. You may be able to round out your collection with little out-of-pocket cost if you are willing to part with the Vault.

Does anyone know if the Vault is ever going to be released seperately or is it like Dark Spyro and only available in that Best Buy Starter Pack?

My understanding that many stores actually had them separarely but provided you with one when you bought a starter pack.

I heard of people not even buying starter packs but simply some figurines and being offered one.

Odd. In Texas, only Best Buy was offering it and only as an in-package deal that when you bought a starter back (excluding the 3ds version because apparently the Vault doesn't work with it). My husband and I bought the Wii version a day or two ago and found the Vault snugly tucked away under the game box inside and glued in with that odd plasticy glue stuff.

From the UK, yeah, I've heard the same thing. :/ The release of these things are weird and somewhat an inconvenience to those that do not have a Best Buy near them (or bought their copy elsewhere before they knew of the vault) or have to buy the from eBay for $40+ (a total ripoff). It isn't anyting special either; just another pvp battle arena and a part of the collection.

My advice is go to ebay.co.uk and find an auction about to end with few bids on it and about to end; you should be able to walk away with one for about $7.

Because it is small and the UK have a good shipping rule about small items, shipping will only be $2.50.

We had it as a GAME/Gamestation exclusive here (I got given it with my 3DS version after talking at length with the shop assistants at GAME about the PS3 one which I ordered online and didn't get a Vault with), but I don't think it was massively advertised.

The store in the UK which offered the Vault happens to get more than enough usually and they do tend to just give them away after a certain amount of time has passed.

I got mine on release day for the 3DS, luckily! I got the PS3 one in the mail the day before release, and then got the 3DS one from the shop on the day of release, so GAME were really nice to give me the Vault on that day!

I was given the vault when I bought a single figure from GAME a few weeks ago. I might sell it though since it doesn't do much and I don't plan on buying all of the figures.

I bought from best buy but didn't get one, I still have the receipt with warranty on my game is there any possibility i could get one?

Does anyone have an extra they DON'T want? If you do, I CALL DIBS!
