hi i have just completed the 3ds vr of the game (as far as i can with out the other paks) but when i was look at my hats it says i am missing the birthday hat from the first lv i have ran threw it a dozen times trying to find it but can't. The presents in the elemental challenges are gone so i did get them and that is where the usually are right? if i am wrong please let me know i am getting really frustrated with this lol

try starting another file and see if you can get it on that one. Im not actually 100% sure on anything im just throwing out suggestions

I was going to say the same as Seth; that does seem odd, though.

I found the birthday hat but I forgot where it was so I started a new file to look for it. I spent quite a long time trying to find it with no luck and I was about to give up. I decided to look for it again and I found it! It's surprisingly at the very beginning of the level on a little island platform. When the level begins, take the left route and not the strait one. After you jump the gap look for a tree on the edge - it's immediately after this tee on a floating platform with radiance. It's very easy to pass it because I've been through there many times and didn't see it. If you need anymore help, feel free to ask and if the above didn't help you or make any sense then let me know.

Edit: Keep in mind that hats aren't only found in the elemental trials and scrolls are sometimes found instead. Some Hats are pretty well hidden. Don't give up and try your best searching each level thoroughly.

thanks that was driving me crazy lol now i am done everything that i can lol
