I think it's just a prototype. It may have been a plan to release Spyro individually but decided against it.

Someone posted a video on Youtube a while back, showing a piece of swag he got. He got a Gill Grunt, in the same style of packaging, from E3 2011.

I'd love to get my hands on this Spyro and the Gill Grunt Single Pack I saw. It had the same sticker and such.

Yeah this is old news back in June, kappa.

Game Informer received this Spyro single pack for E3 2011.
