yes I would've bought it either way. Personally I dont think I would like to play as cynder because from her trailers her lightning attack looks really weak and it doesnt seem to do that much damage. And as for Spyro i would be fine not to have gotten him as a playable character for myself

I doubt I would have heard of it if weren't not for Spyro and everyone complaining about it (not bothered about Cynder), but if I had heard of it, I possibly would have bought it, yes.

Yes, still would've bought it. We were shopping at Target when I first discovered it and seemed perfect as I was looking for another game to play with my wife and son. I only found out that it was a Spyro game when I looked closer at what characters were available.

Well, I highly doubt I would've payed any attention to it, nor even know about it.

I FOUND it because of Spyro. I love it because of the original gaming platform it has, and with the addition of Spyro and a bunch of whole new characters. There are also tons of refrances from the other Spyro games. <3

Actually I only konow this game through Spyro, but if I had seen any of the gameplays on youtube, I think I would have bought it even if Spyro wasn't in that game.

I would have, characters like Wrecking Ball and Camo would gain my interest.

If it weren't for Spyro, be it just to hear about or that he was in this game, I would have overlooked this game without any regrets.

If it didn't have Cynder?: I didn't want Cynder in this game in the first place.
If it didn't have Spyro?: I would've completely overlooked it.

BUT: I would still buy it, Spyro or not, but he made me look into the game more, something I likely would've have done without Spyro.

I think that was the overall intention. to draw people's attention to the game by including everyone's favorite purple dragon. otherwise, this would have failed in a month's time.

I wouldn't of heard of it otherwise, and- even if I had- probably would've dismissed it as some lame Pokemon rip-off. Because it had Spyro in it, I looked into it more and realised it seemed pretty decent.

I went to wal-mart one day and they had a little section dedicated to it, I didnt really care too much that it had spyro in it, that was sort of a bonus for me.

I would have bought it either way...actually the fact that Spyro was in the game.... had me on the fence about getting it.

Most likely, I probably would purchase it anyway because I was more interested in the "toys that come to life"concept than Spyro being in the game. I haven't played any of the Spyro games after Enter the Dragonfly because I was very disappointed in that game. I think this game brought my interest back into the Spyro series.

No. I'm glad I have the one with Spyro. Spyro's name is still in the title. I couldn't really care about Cynder though.

I have to say yes. I was intrigued with the toys before I even knew what it was, since I happened to walk past a dinky display at Wal-Mart apparently not long after it came out, but it didn't have anything about the game - I only saw the toys with no explaination to what it was (silly right?) but told myself 'I can't collect these, I can't put more money into something that'll just sit on a shelf and look pretty' because I'm a pretty serious collector of things. Obviously, my opinion has changed.

I knew who Spyro was but had never played any of those games or really cared about the character.

After I saw Spyro in it, I got kinda creeped.

I just know Spyro for the name, don't have any game of it ( I think that I played a Spyro game from a friend ) and Cynder I just know her from Skylanders.

What caught my eye was the huge "SKYLANDER" display. Having Spyro, is an added bonus. I like the entire concept of having your stats saved to the figure, and you can take it to a friends house to play, provided you have different characters. I have to admit though, that I only had played the original Spyro game. I never could finish the last level. But we gave the PS away when we moved. I did get New Beginnings for the Advance or the DS. It's around the house somewhere, but I never got past the first level. It's hard to play a game when you cannot see your character. I'm having a similar issue with the 3DS version of the game (with the 3D off).

I only know details on Cynder from the Skylanders sites, since I didn't really play the Advance or DS version. I just think she's cool looking, and I like the name (similar to a dog I knew.)
