Each year, I like to pre-plan what I'd like to collect for each new series of Skylanders, simply so I don't buy too much and deplete both funds and shelf/storage space. I'm sure that others must also limit their collections, while others try to collect everything. What's your plan for your entire Imaginators collection?

I'll start with what I'd like to obtain (subject to change):

MINIMUM
•Dark Edition Starter Pack (Wii U)
•8 non-Villain Sensei (counting main Starter Pack contents; probably Light, Air, Fire, Water, Life, Magic, Tech and Dark elements)
•8 former Villains (probably Golden Queen, Wolfgang and those of the Light, Fire, Water, Life, Tech and Dark elements)
•16 Imaginite Creation Crystals (1x Light, 1x Earth, 2x Air, 2x Fire, 2x Water, 2x Life, 1x Undead, 2x Magic, 2x Tech and 1x Dark)

EXTRA
•Crash Edition Starter Pack (either PS3 or PS4)
•4 extra Sensei (probably some combination of Earth, Air, Fire, Undead, Magic and/or Tech elements)
•8 Imaginite Creation Crystals (probably 2x Light, 1x Earth, 1x Air, 1x Undead, 1x Magic and 2x Dark)

My plan is: Dark Edition Wii U Starter, followed remaining 8 villains, followed by Crash, followed by the last 18-19 Senseis, followed by 7 more crystals, one of each element. The cutoff point is whenever I run out of spending money.

All senseis ( just standard figures, no variants ).
10 crystals , but I'll double that if we don't have an imaginators vault.

Probably all the villains but I wanna know first if they give exclusive unlocks etc. or have anything only they can do coz otherwise I think I'll have plenty to do already with just the regular senseis and my own designed charscters. And I don't mind if my villain play stays in trap team .

Haven't decided yet. I'll wait to see the rest of the senseis and other imaginators features.

Whatever it takes to have all 31 new characters, and 10 crystals. That's about it. I may or may not get a Crash starter from not wanting to wait to play as him.

I'm thinking of maybe getting the game since i skipped superchargers so if i do get thew game which version should i get?
Crash or Standard?

Crash Starter Pack on PS4, Dark Edition on whatever console (I only play on PS4), all 31 Senseis and all their Alt Deco, 1 creation crystal of each Element.

All Sensei's (or at least just one of each element)

A lot Imaginite Creation Crystals

Senseis that I like, GD in the starter pack, Dreamcatcher(if we do get Doom Raiders only), a few crystals. Couldn't afford that Crash starter with any other purchases and it's not like I'm dying to play a Brawler.

The Starter Pack, Crash, a few villains if their toys look cool enough and maybe two or three crystals, tho' as of now the only must buy crystal for me is water.

As for Skylanders I'm getting Ember, Ambush, King-Pen the Water girl and the Air guy. I'm not a big fan of Tri-Tip so I'll most likely skip him.
If we get all Doom Raiders I'm getting Golden Queen, Wolfgang, Dreamcatcher, Luminous, Nightshade & Krankcase for sure. I'm not getting Gulper or the Chompy Mage and probably not Chef Pepper Jeck either.
And of course one crystal from each element.
I know that's far from little but I decided that I wouldn't get all new characters just for completions' sake, since in Superchargers I regret buying all of them.

Already have the regular Wii U starter pre-ordered on Amazon, so day one just get as many figures and crystals as I can.
If Crash ever gets a single release, then I'll definitely pick him up.

All the Senseis (including former villains), most likely excluding Crash. Don't care much for him, just like I didn't care much for DK. And of course, like always, only the originals, no recolors or anything.

1 Creation Crystal per Element. Don't care about any creator restrictions there may be, more than 1 of each element would just be a waste.

Also any form of expansion pack, if they return.

I'd think so, since Crash is a Brawler just like King Pen, meaning he's the one probably being replaced in it.

As is always the case, the family will divide up 10 creation crystals, 20 senseis, and 10 villians as equally as possible, a level 50 imaginator sounds pretty cool. I have no desire to get Crash.

That would be perfect! I don't really want King Pen, he's just on the list because I have to get him, but now I don't have to buy both of the Water Senseis.

Right now I'm trying to coordinate my main Imaginators display to have one sensei of each element that are also one of each battle class. Crash and Golden Queen are musts for me, and I really want Ember to be included as well. I'm almost certainly going to get that Water quickshot girl we saw in the trailer. Wolfgang covers the bowslinger class, though I may go with another Undead depending on what we get. That Air guy in the trailer looks like he'll be a knight. Hopefully I can cover the remaining five battle classes with the remaining five elements...


Other than that, I also plan to get any other senseis that look cool and a crystal of each element (hopefully each with a unique mold).

I pretty much want to make sure every class is covered with my Sensei as well. What I might do is list ten non-Villain Sensei, carefully choosing them so that every element and battle class is featured, and then set aside the Earth and Undead ones (hopefully their classes will be covered by two of my chosen former Villains). Then, if I decide to get some extra figures at a later time, I can pick up the Earth and Undead Sensei I set aside, along with the two missing former Villains.

It's funny, but that's essentially the exact same method I used to pick my SWAP Force Skylanders.

I'll want to get all figures, but it's unlikely that I will.
At the bare minimum, Crash and possibly the villains. Maybe one of each creation crystal and Dark Starter Pack for Wii U or Xbox 360.

I ultimately plan on getting the Xbox One starter, all the Sensei and Villain figures and 1 of each element Creation Crystal. I hope they confirm a standalone Crash, as I don't want to buy more than 1 version of the game ( other than possibly the Wii U version to play as DK & Bowser... ). Just not much of a Playstation guy tbh....

Also, I plan to get everything. I'll try my best with the Creation Crystals. To be honest, I'm just going to buy as many as I can, just so I can really enjoy such an amazing gimmick.

I pre-ordered from Amazon. Now I'm just going to see how much I can get day one.

Since Kaos has been revealed, among other things; I should update it to include him, making the 32 unique characters, 10 crystals, and all the extra magic items/chest I'll need to get everything.

Getting the following: DE starter pack (PS4, since I've not seen any pre-orders for PS3),Crash edition starter pack (PS3), eventually all the Senseis (except chase variants, unless they look interesting to me), one of each element for the creation crystals....at first. Might get 10 of each element so I can do all the classes for each element......maybe.

All the villains, plus 10 new Skylanders. Don't know who those 10 are yet, aside from Chopscotch.

1 new Sensei per element and per battle class. Any adventure packs and items (like a chest). If the AP comes with a character I don't want (like the starter pack with Golden Queen), I'll sell them off. As if now no creation crystals for me either.

Pretty much just whatever I can get my hands on, as long as I can get two Senseis per element and class.

Xbox One Starter Pack, all of my favorite figures and 6 CCs (2 of Tech, Earth and Undead).

I'm getting one of each.
Day 1 I'm getting both the Crash Edition for PS4 and the Dark Edition for Xbox one.
I'll be getting all the figures except for variants unless I want that variant.
At least 3 of each elemental crystal but if there is ever a dollar a piece crystal deal or if ever I see them in five below I will try to work my way up to having all 10 classes on each element.

Well, that's easy! Dark Wii U (Preorder), Krankcase, Flarewolf, Tri-Tip, and one of each creation crystal. I'm not planning on any adventure packs unless one really amazing one comes out.
