Here we are again. An RP originally intended to be a trilogy, it now has been turned into a saga. For those of you who are new, I recommend to see the other three RP’s first pages:

Story:

About a month has passed since the Battle of the Haven took place. Shadow the Komodo dragon was defeated, along with his army, and was banished to his island. Despite several incidents after that, the Haven is now peaceful, and its residents can relax and enjoy their peace, as long as they stay away from the water and avoid the playful orcas, whose hunting game helps both them and the Haven residents develop faster reflexes and strategy for whatever future dangers may befall them.

Sybil the Malabar civet founded the Haven for The Missing s years ago, is very happy with the results. No humans ever having established on the islands, so the sanctuaries are successful. With the company of her protégée and apprentice Rose, the always reliable Sayan, the unpredictable yet well-meaning Sozen, the withdrawn but noble AJ, foster father and son falcons Royal and Jaerl, the gentle elephant brothers, and even newcomers Crocux and Jack, not to mention the playful orcas, mischievous kea parrots and the native birds, she is bound to have a huge set of adventures without ever leaving her home.

However, something around the islands is changing currently. Nobody but Barloc, the leader of the cockatoos at Hunted island, has noticed this. It is something that has happened before, yet it’s has come too soon this time. Just what is going on?

Character sheets already exist on the other RPs, but to recap a few changes, both old and new users will have to post their characters. I’ll start with mine. Just follow the sheets:

Name: Sybil
Species: Malabar civet
Personality: Creator of the Haven. She’s very sweet in nature, but can be dangerously stubborn. She can be easily stressed depending on a situation, especially due to a secret she's been keeping from everybody, but despite all, she always manages to solve all problems with a little help and intelligence.
Goal: To have everybody happy at the Haven and maintain the peace

Name: Mambo
Species: Kea parrot
Personality: Leader of the keas. He is extremely mischievous and playful, he would do practically anything for a good prank and a great time. Cares deeply about his flock, and never question Sybil’s decisions. He’s very mature and responsible when he needs to be. He’s almost always under the companionship by his bulky bodyguard Cole, and Cole’s naughty and uptight sister Cheryl
Goal: Help Sybil maintain order and peace… and have fun always.

Name: Cairo
Species: Killer whale (orca)
Personality: Former leader of the orca whales, even though some of the pod still looks up to him for guidance. He is a gentle giant, with a huge affection for Sybil and a fondness for almost every Haven resident, especially Rose.
Goal: To be of service to the pod and the Haven residents

Name: Yodel
Species: Warbler
Personality: He’s very bitter and an anti-villain. He fights with Sybil a lot, and gets every occasion to antagonize her when he wants to. Like all the birds, he helps her with errands, but only because he doesn’t want to go against the other warblers, who are very loyal to her.
Goal: To make Sybil’s life as miserable as possible. This sometimes extends to the other residents, in particular Rose.

Name: Sholeh
Species: Ruddy mongoose
Personality: Once an antagonist, she is now the only mongoose living inside the Haven, with Rose’s permission. She has given up her obsession with warbler eggs, albeit with drastic consequences to her appearance. She has befriended Sozen, and hopes that he could someday torture the Haven residents for all the suffering she has gone through.
Goal: To recover her home and make Sozen rebel against the Haven residents

Name: Warren
Species: Vulture
Personality: A kind and clumsy vulture who is exceedingly loyal to Sholeh, despite her mistreating him most of the time. He also acts as a flying steed for her. Unlike the mongoose, he gets along very well with Sybil and the other Haven residents, and doesn’t mean them any harm.
Goal: To be happy and accepted

Here are just a few of the orca members. There are about forty orcas in the pod, and with my permission, you can create your own. You can have a maximum total of three:

Dagger: The youngest male of the pod. He is still a baby, but he sure is energetic, and sometimes participates in the game. Has a deep admiration for the current orca leader, Jet.

Ellen: Dagger’s mother and sometimes the brains of the pod. Due to this, she is usually the one in charge of the meetings that the orcas form whenever a situation arrives in which Jet needs help. She participates in the game, but usually just stays put makes sure that the younger orcas don’t overdo it.

Marylin: A mute orca who is just as gentle as they come. Due to this, she is one of the very few orcas who don’t participate in the game at all in fear of hurting them. She can only communicate through sign language, which only Raphael can understand to the near perfection.

Raphael: An adult with a heart of gold. He is quite tough during the game, but is willing to stop if the Haven residents just say so. He is deeply in love with Marylin, even though she only sees him as a friend or brother.

Gustave: A middle aged orca who is very strong, yet always manages to control himself during the game. He is one of the pod’s best strategists.

Randy: A rather young orca who, despite loving the game, sometimes prefers to give rides rather than tossing around his friends. He’s the one who discovered the meadow at Hunted island, and the one who knows most of the orca’s home secrets. He is Ellen’s brother.

Kaylin: A bitter and rather mean young female. She could only love the game if she was allowed to use all her strength, but know that it could cause injury and get her into trouble. She’s not afraid to speak up her mind, no matter how offensive the comment is.

Rumble: A teenaged orca who adores the game, his favorite target being Sayan. He is usually the troublemaker of the pod.

Ricky: Rumble’s younger brother, following his antics despite knowing it will get them into trouble. Likes to play fetch with his brother, but he sometimes acts like his rival.

Also, here is the main cockatoo family residing at Hunted island:

Barloc: Leader of the cockatoos. He despises predators above else, and is usually mean and bitter, though he means well. He’s learning to trust Rose, Sayan, and the other predators at the Haven, but a sudden event happening has him in a very depressing mood.

Kali: Barloc’s wife and voice of reason. She takes most of the decisions. Unlike him, he is very trusting of everybody at the Haven and loves nothing more than to be helpful.

Nia: Barloc and Kali’s daughter, and extremely mischievous. She loves danger, much to her parent’s dismay, and usually runs off to play and find adventure.

Angus: Nia’s cousin, and son of Barloc’s deceased brother. Although he is usually as carefree and fun as his cousin, he goes on the more cautious side, but sometimes has to put up with Nia’s love for danger.

Be aware that those of you returning to the RP, you don’t need to include to the appearance, since they are already at the artworks. You new users however, must include the appearance of your animal, unless you only plan to control an orca or a cockatoo.

OOC: Tried to do another history expansion/''previous RP'' summary and... failed terribly. This RP has gotten so crazy.

Name: Sayan
Gender: Male
Species: Amur Leopard [info] [more info]
Appearance: Adult leopard [image] with some old scars resulting from prior shock collar usage and abuse from humans
Personality: He is cautious and just a tad solitary at times. Due to prior and unpleasant experiences with humans, he has lost his fondness for them gaining some trust issues in the process. However, he has slowly gotten better and has since shown himself to be a trustworthy individual. Willing to do anything to protect those he considers his friends, he has become the guardian and protector of the tiger known as Rose.
Goal: To protect Rose, the Haven, and its residents.

History:
Prior to his first stay at the Haven, Sayan was held in a zoo along with a female named Milena. They were potential mates, though the humans limited their interaction. For unknown reasons, she developed an life-threatening disease. Their caretakers tried to help her, but there was nothing they could do. They kept the two separated and Sayan was forced to watch as Milena suffered through the disease. One day the humans injected her with something and she slowly fell asleep... never to wake-up again.

This is when he took his chance and escaped to the Haven. He hoped to find another of his kind, so that he may no longer be alone. However, he felt unsafe and out-of-place. Thus, he decided to leave and return to the mainland of Russia. He survived in the wild for a bit untill he got captured. It was then that he was sold to a wealthy Russian as an exotic pet. He was caged, collared, mistreated, and abused in various ways. Out of pure desperation, he escaped to an orca thus returning to the the Haven for a second time. Promising to never again leave the Haven, he had his collar painfully removed and tried to emotionally recover at what was then a secluded Creek deep within the Forest. Finding that couldn't do it alone, he later reviewed himself again and shown himself to be a great aide in the troublesome matters that occurred soon after. As a second "Hunted" island was discovered and a villainous Komodo known as Shadow presented himself, he defended the tiger known as Rose. Later, events made it necessary for him to become almost a bodyguard for a time and he grew to care for the young striped feline known as Rose. After Sybil had faked her death and Rose had become her successor for a time, he not only helped to protect a dear friend but also a new hope for the Haven's future.

As Shadow was dealt with and Sybil had 'returned from the dead', Sayan remained ever faithful to Rose and to the Haven as a whole. No longer quite as fearful as he once was, he even accepted potentially dangerous newcomers-- giving them the benefit of the doubt and attempting to help smooth their transitions. Still forever faithful to his friends, his youth had also began to return with the orcas games-- bringing out a more playful and energetic leopard at times.

OOC: Yeah, I know. Never expected it to get so wacky. Now feels more like a fantasy RP with realistic overtones So then, we should wait until Spyroconvexity comes. Can't start the RP without him. And thanks for the summary. It really covers many things that I left out

Jaerl (Wystrel): A shy, withdrawn and solemn Peregrine Falcon. Gets in trouble often and has a huge crush on Sybil. A large, crow-sized falcon, it has a blue-grey back, barred white underparts, and a black head and "mustache". He has deep sapphire blue eyes.

Royal (Wystrel): Harpy Eagle that made a pact with the mongooses. Very protective of Jaerl, and a father figure to him. Generous, compassionate and loyal, but can also be cruel and cold. Will defend Jaerl as well as anyone he cares about with his life. The upper side of the harpy eagle is covered with slate-black feathers, and the underside is mostly white, except for the feathered tarsi, which are striped black. A broad black band across the upper breast separates the gray head from the white belly. The head is pale grey, and is crowned with a double crest. The upper side of the tail is black with three gray bands, while the underside of it is black with three white bands. The iris is gray or brown or red, the cere and bill are black or blackish and the tarsi and toes are yellow. The plumage of males and females are identical. The tarsus is up to 13 cm (5.1 in) long.[9][10] He has golden eyes.

Bjorn (Wystrel): A Bull Asian elephant. Extremely brave, protective, generous, caring, compassionate and loyal. Are like fathers to everyone around them.

Anvor (Wystrel): Bjorn’s younger brother. Like him, he is protective and helps his brother and the other residents in any way he can.

Asian elephants (Elephas maximus) are native throughout Asia, from India to Borneo. Slightly smaller than African elephants, a bull Asian elephant can reach 12,000 pounds when fully grown. They live in grasslands and tropical forests, feeding on legumes, palms and grasses.

Aeriji- A Margay with low self-esteem.

The margay is very similar to the larger ocelot in appearance, although the head is a little shorter, the eyes larger, and the tail and legs longer. It weighs from 2.6 to 4 kilograms (5.7 to 8.8 lb), with a body length of 48 to 79 centimetres (19 to 31 in), and a tail length of 33 to 51 centimetres (13 to 20 in). Unlike most other cats, the female possesses only two teats.[7] The fur is brown and marked with numerous rows of dark brown or black rosettes and longitudinal streaks. The undersides are paler, ranging from buff to white, and the tail has numerous dark bands and a black tip. The backs of the ears are black with circular white markings in the centre.[7] Most notably the margay is a much more skillful climber than its relative, and it is sometimes called the tree ocelot because of this ability. Whereas the ocelot mostly pursues prey on the ground, the margay may spend its entire life in the trees, leaping after and chasing birds and monkeys through the treetops. Indeed, it is one of only two cat species[7] with the ankle flexibility necessary to climb head-first down trees (the other being the clouded leopard although the poorly studied marbled cat may also have this ability). It is remarkably agile; its ankles can turn up to 180 degrees,[8] it can grasp branches equally well with its fore and hind paws, and it is able to jump up to 12 feet (3.7 m) horizontally.[7] The margay has been observed to hang from branches with only one foot. Its look is also similar to the oncilla, another related Neotropical feline. He has deep, dark midnight blue eyes.

OOC: I will check on Nero's species when I have the time. Now then, we are all finally here, so... it BEGINS!

One afternoon, in the now famous Haven for The Missing s, a very well known civet was standing at the water's edge, staring at something at sea. An orca named Randy was at the other side, staring back at her and pacing around the water, getting closer and closer to her. I was almost a staring contest, but neither of them could afford to flinch. Instead of the usual stalking, the deal was for the civet Sybil to remain still... and only move when Randy makes his move. It was all a test. It was Sybil's reflexes vs. Randy's speed. It was a very cloudy day, so the sun wasn't a problem. The minutes felt like hours, and both beings had to be on high alert if they wanted to succeed in their task.

Crocux came along to the beach glad thing calmed down a bit. Shilise was resting on his head thinking about Sozen. It's been a while since she saw him and was getting worried. Jack was already at the beach carving at the same pice of drift wood. Once Crocux reached the beach he watched the water waiting to see if Raphael or Merylen would show up to play with him. Last he cheacked it was morning so those two didn't have patroll yet. "morning Sybil. Jack." said Crocux as he waited for his friends to arrive.

"Wait, not now Crocux." Sybil said desperately, but that little distraction was enough. Randy approached with a huge wave, and Sybil, despite her best effort to jump away, was soon caught in the orca's jaws, with only her tail and back paws visible.
"Good morning crocodile." Randy said to Crocux. Many of the orcas prompted to call him by the name crocodile rather than his real name, thinking it sounded much cooler. He then started to retreat into the water, nodding at Crocux as thanks for making Sybil an easy target.
"Hey no fair, I got distracted." Sybil said, struggling, as she was being pulled away further from the shore.

Randy didn't responded her until they were much further into sea.
"Sorry miss Sybil, but in real life, you need to learn to get use to distractions like that." he lectured, much to Sybil's disappointment, since he was making sense. And there she was hoping to be successful in the dodge. Randy then disappeared into the water, with no signs of rising anytime soon. He usually preferred to give rides, but this time, he was in an enormous mood to play. It was going to be a long day for Sybil...

Crocux smiled at him in embaressment. Shilise sigjed and said "i'm leaving" and flew off before Crocux could ask were she was going. She started flying to Sozen's den to check on him. It didn't take long for her to reach is den and when she reached the entrance she said "hey Sozen? You here?" but soon saw that he was and said "never mind. So how are you doing Sozen."

"Yeah yeah, I've already seen her." Sholeh said bitterly, not enjoying the extra company. She and Shilise had never introduced themselves, but since Sholeh spied on the Haven residents a lot, or asked Warren to do so, she knew about the little bird.

Sayan soon showed up-- eager to test his skills against Rumble, Cairo, or even the now settled crocodile. "Good morning Rose, Crocux.," he greeted with a smile.

Shilise hopped over and said to Sholeh "hi their i'm Shilise but my friends call me Shi."

Sholeh was very close to saying who cares, but didn't want to dirty her image in front of Sozen.
"Hey. I'm Sholeh. A Ruddy mongoose, and whatever." she greeted, trying to sound as polite as possible.

Sayan soon showed up-- eager to test his skills against Rumble, Cairo, or even the now settled crocodile. "Good morning Rose, Crocux.," he greeted with a smile.

Not long after Sayan politely greeted the pair, not one, but two orcas charged at intimidating speed towards the shore. I was the orca brothers, Rumble and Ricky. It looked like they were going after Sayan... BUT, it turns out that Crocux was the target all along.
"Come on Ricky! Hold that tail!" Rumble said, with him grabbing the snout while his little brother handled the tail. Their favorite target was usually Sayan, but today, they wanted to prove how tough they were by dealing with the biggest member of the beach residents. They knew how strong crocodiles were, which is why they were working together.

"Hey Rumble, Ricky! Looks like you got yourself a crocodile there!," Sayan said with a laugh. 'Crocs, Orcas, and felines playing together.. just another day at the Haven.,' Sayan thought to himself.

Rumble and Rickly were struggling hard, but didn't regret their decision. They started to pull Crocux away, holding him as tightly as their mouths permitted to preven from doing the notorious death roll crocodiles were so famous apart. That was certainly their biggest challenge yet, but the brothers were convinced that no other predator could top them, wether it was from the sea or land, or even a river.

Meanwhile, Sybil was having quite a harsh time. Randy was in such an exceptional playful mood that she was having a hard time adapting. He tossed her around the air, sometimes almost twenty feet from the water, doing somersaults on many of them. A lot of dragging and tackles were also involved. Sybil was getting quite worked up with that intense routine, and even though she was enjoying it a bit, she was going to get to Crocux later on for distracting her earlier.

Pondering on whether to continue... I lost track of my character Tak because I forgot to subscribe to this, and I lost the rp.

Crocux smiled at their entusiasum. He death rolled out of their grip and said "you're going to have to do better then that to catch a croc." he started to gallop after them yelling "catch me if you can" and dived into the water and like a scaly torpido swam away hoping that the two would give chase and if not he can find a more worthy adversary, Cairo.

Shilise smiled and said "nice to meet you. This is the first time i met a monguse." she turned to face Sozen and said "what have you been doing latly Sozen? I've been worried sick about you. Besides you haven't met the whole family yet." she looked at Sholeh and said "you can come too if you want. I'm sure that you will get alomg great with Jack. Who knows maybe you can keep that loud mouth out of trouble."

Name: Arrow
Gender: Female
Species: Jamaican Petrel(I thought it would be nice because it's actually thought to be extinct, but they're nocturnal so it isn't confirmed)
Appearance:
Personality: Arrow is always comparing herself to others, always trying to be the smartest, or most beautiful, or fastest, or anything like that. She isn't interested in falling in love, and she's never seen any kind of her species anyway.
Goal: To become the fastest flyer in the Haven.

Ooc: I'll just restart with a different character...

Name: Tupic
Species: Regular bat
Appearence: He is the prince of the bats in a cave in the Haven. He is a blackish brown bat with very sharp claws and fangs
Personality: Can sometimes be annoying, but is nice. He was taken in as the bat prince when he washed up on the Haven one day.
Goal: To help anyone in the Haven that needs his assistance.

OOC: You can try to bring your old character back. And the bat, you must be more specific. Yu must say if it is endemic to the Haven or if it came from somewhere else. Also, you must tell what type of bat is this. If it is endemic, then look for Australian bats, or Indonesia, somewhere near the Pacific where the Haven is.

The brothers quickly grabbed Crocux again, trying very hard not to use their teeth, but it was so hard to get a grip with that hard skin. Also, they have been warned by Raphael that Crocux was unpredictable, and that he could bite during the game. He had failed to realize the reason why he did that the first time, so he assumed it was because Crocux was violent by nature.

Soleh said nothing. She just let Shilise talk. The more she resolved whatever issue she had with Sozen, the sooner she would leave, but it really infuriated her how the little bird just entered there, interrupting her visit.

"well Sozen? You coming? Couse i'm not leaving till you do." said Shilise.

The two suprized Crocux but nothing more. He death rolled again out of their jaws and swam faster. He could out run an orca with ease if he wanted to but were's the fun in that. With a full nights rest he was feeling unstoppable. He felt bad for the orca brothers, they may never catch him.

Sayan watched as the orca brothers swam off with their prey-- or perhaps the other way around. When they disappeared out of sight, he proceeded to walk along the beach wondering what the others were up to.

Jack took a breake from his carving and decided to bug Sayan. once he cought up with him he said "hi what are you doing?"

"Just walking and enjoying the sun.," Sayan said with a smile. Sayan stopped for a moment, looking up at the clear sky and then at the gentle waves. "When you aren't dealing with playful orcas, this beach can be quite peaceful actually.," he then said referring to the orca games which he also enjoyed.

Jack shrugged saying "well i've never partisapated in them so i don't see what the big deal is." since his knife was a switch blade he closed it so the blade couldn't hurt anyone.

"It may sound strange, but the orca games are actually quite fun if not exhausting at times. And a good a challenge.," Sayan replied.

Jack thought about it for a moment and said "well it may be fun but i haven't been a part of it so like i said i wouldn't know personally."

Is it safe to leave yet? Arrow looked out of the cave. So far, so good. No overgrown lizards, or anything else for that matter. She carefully flew out of the cave. Her eyes were open for either food or foe. Food was something to eat, such as a fly or a juicy worm. Foe was anything else.

OOC: That's right. If you need an update, look at the first page.

Cairo watched how the brothers were funnily trying to restrain Crocux. The siblings gave him so much trouble in the past, but that was yesterday's news. Crocux looked more like the type to participate in the game rather than being a victim, so he admired how Ricky and Rumble tried to change that aspect, though he was a bit worried for them.

Either way, he let the brothers have their fun, and while Sayan got distracted with Jack, he took that chance to stalk him. He was ready. Not even his dorsal fin was visible. He was ready to claim Sayan, or if he managed to elude him, there was always the chimp.

"Sure. You should come too Soleh. I'll give you a ride." Sozen said.

Rose meanwhile was on her beach walks unaware of the comotion.

"Nah, it's alright. I want to stay here for a while more." Sholeh said, not wanting to meet anymore new faces. Plus she didn't want to risk feel humiliated or hated by Jack or whoever she met, since she believed that Sybil had bad mouthed her species to the other residents, and thought it was only a matter of time before Shilise disliked her as well.

As Cairo had his eyes set on Sayan, he noticed that not far away from there, Rose was all by herself too. Now he was having his doubts on who to catch. He wanted both, but they were too far away from each other. He didn't have to decide for too long though. Approaching Rose at tremendous speed was an orca that he recognized too well by a peculiar spot he had on his back. It was Gustave, the best strategist. He couldn't believe he hadn't noticed that he was just a few feet away from him when he was stalking Rose. A great wave covered the shore, so he couldn't see if Gustave caught Rose or not...

Shilise looked at the monguse curiously saying "you know from what i heard, monguses are pritty cool as a spiesies. In fact Jack had a friend that was a monguse. He told me how in genral monguses are very on their guard and weary of meeting new faces. But it's ok were not here to judge you."

Crocux avoided the brothers at every twist and turn not giving an inch. He slowed down alittle to say to Rumble "hey Rumble was it? I once knew a guy named that. When something would start he would say something as if it was his catchfrase or something. What was it again? 'get ready to tumble because here comes Rumble!'" and when he said the frase he sped up to remain out of their reatch, slowing down on accasion just to keep them interested.

Sholeh didn't believe Shilise. She just decided to take on Sozen's action.
"Let's go big guy." she said, getting exited. That experience was certainly going to be way different that riding Warren.

Rumble just got extremely psyched up when Crocux starting to talk casually, as if their struggle meant nothing. It also infuriated him how his name was used by someone else, since he thought that was an exclusive name, the brothers, with Crocux escaping him all the time, prompted to create big waves in front of him with their tails and body, so that all that movement would tire the proud, strong croc eventually.

Rose looked up to see a huge wave coming at her. She was washed away. "Wah!!"

Before Rose could notice which one of the orcas got her, jaws closed in on her shoulders, leaving only her tail, back paws and belly outside. She was then hopelessly dragged into deeper waters.

"He heh, that Gustave." Cairo commented, but now it was his turn. Getting closer to shore, he was ready to make his move...

Taking advantage of Sayan's low guard, Cairo charged ahead, beaching himself... and catching Sayan right on the spot. His enormous jaws closed around Sayan's ribs, and started to pull himself along with him, right into the dark deep water.
