There have been no good sales so far and no figure is even remotely difficult to find right now. I expect Target and Best Buy to have some sort of sale sooner or later...they have always had some sort of sale before Thanksgiving/Black Friday rolls around. Best Buy sales rock since they tend to stack with the GCU discount.

I stand by my statement. You will most likely miss out on the popular figures if you wait too long. Ebay sucks for finding a good paint job. The advice to wait is only good for some people, It nver looks the best when people pass it up.

So your advice is to pay MSRP right now so you don't miss out on a figure and have decent paint jobs? That's not smart advice at all. It's smarter and more financially responsible any day of the week to be more aggressive with your hunting when there are sales and keep an eye out on forums such as these to see if there really are any characters which are starting to disappear from stores and becoming harder to find. Spring for characters at MSRP only when you hear of reports that characters are becoming hard to get. It's really not complicated rocket science. Heck, I've personally posted here when harder to find items such as Scratch, Spotlight, Blackout, 8 trap packs, and light/dark packs have been in stock online to buy so that others don't miss out (situations where it is prudent to buy right away at MSRP). There's enough must have them all and must have them first collectors on here that I don't criticize anybody who runs out on day one of any release and pays MSRP (to each their own), but preaching to other more casual collectors to grab figures now at MSRP so that they don't miss out on something is dumb. Not everybody has to jump the gun and buy now like you to have a complete collection. Some people like to be financially responsible and seek out sales. I'm glad to see I'm not in the minority here as there's lots of people similar to me chiming in saying they only have a reasonable amount of (4 or so) Superchargers, whether it be that they're waiting for sales, have limited funds for collecting, aren't collecting them all, or are just pacing themselves with figure purchases.

Then one of each will go up at Christmas, and then 1 sea vehicle somewhere down the line and...then that's about it. Not hot on the new characters this go around.
