Trap Masters?

I haven't seen anything on what capacity Trap Masters will be used in Superchargers. Will they end up like the Giants or Swapforce characters that got no special use in TT.

I hate to repeat myself once more but Swappers and Giants don't need special uses inside the games to be unique, unlike Trap Masters.

Swappers swap and Giants are big and strong, but Trap Masters need special in-game fatures to be unique.
I guess Traptanium clusters here and there could work, but... It would still not be enugh for me.
Maybe damage boosts again Bosses and Mini-Bosses would do.

Special uses for all the previous Gimmicklanders would be great but only Trap Masters truly need them.

VV always gives us forward compatibility, so I wouldn't worry.

Both developers give us forward compatibility.

The point is... Will they make Trap Masters special in any way?
Or will they be just big Cores in this game?

At most we may get a 'Traptanium Chest' like we got for Giants in Swap Force. If not, then they'll just be big cores.

I still like to think they have learned what they should improve and what they can leave as it is.

They can definitely improve support for older gimmicks.
Nothing too big, just like the traps but with Skylanders.
Some extras for them to do, that's all.

The Trap Masters, Giants and Swappers have already served their purpose from their respective games. I still have Dark Snap Shot, Nitro Krypt King, Tuff Luck, Gearshift, and Enigma.

Yeah im sure they will scatter Traptanium Crystal clusters around with money chest or other items in them....they might even put them in front of doors or cave entrance....witch would be cool.

Trapmasters: Traptanium & Traptanium boost for Vechicle
Swapforce: Swap gates & Abailty thingyies
Giants: giant chest [which only giants can open] & Islands giants can push to get a reward.

I think the Feats of Strength would come back for the Giants and Traptanium for the TM. I don't think Swap Force would get anything since vehicles areas are much similar to swap zones.

Dont mean to sound rude but. This is the fifth time around and we all know by now that previous gimmicks have small and I mean super small roles in the next game around. Or they don't have any roles at all (swap force bases).

I hope we see the Trap Masters no more in a important gameplay role. There was nothing special about them, not like the Giants or Swapper. They make the Corelanders useless, and can destroying giant crystals, and only they can through the pitiful elemental gates with 2 minutes gameplay and a hat as reward.

Since VV is the developer of the fifth game, that means some of the Skylanders will be nerfed once again. Unless, of course, the SuperChargers in their signature Vehicles will be buffed.
