I've been contemplating getting minis, but I can't really force my self to do it for repose like reasons.

But I'd really like to get the mini Giants thumpback, eye smal, minjini and Barkley because they'll probly never be reposed.
But I want the full set so I want bouncer, hot head, swarm and crusher to be made into minis next.

I think swarm would make a great mini.


Also I'd probably like a team of original mini skylanders , but only if they are gonna have some real use in the next game (and trap team was just an introduction for them).

I'd be perfectly fine if they never ever returned...ever. The Easter egg 8.99 test may find them decide on releasing these for $10 each. Would you be ok with that? Given no path swapping, very small size, and basically repeat of existing characters....I'd say bad value.

No Minis, or just four for a Frito Lay thing like before. As a normal release they definately don't work,but even if they become US and UK exclusive the other way at least they're more of a prize than a S1 you can't buy single.
If that's the case,then mini Cynder(Ash?),Echo(Reverb?),and some minis of Light and Dark, whatever new ones show up.

I'm absolutely indifferent.

I wouldn't buy them anyway, just like the other variants, palette swaps, reposes and so on.
I would like if they could focus more on new characters only, investing more time and resources on them, but I don't think Minis take away that much time.

However, when you start having Minis AND reposes AND palette swaps AND rare figure AND Lightcores AND Eon's Elites... The things change.

I think a mini Pop Fizz would be cute.

I'd actually prefer minis to be made instead on series 2+ characters as they show up differently and have their own name. They also go down well for cuteness. A mini I would buy 100% would be a double trouble mini. It would be the absolute best mini. His doubles would be enormous compared to him in game and his voice would be so funny. Imagine it, ooga, booga boo, in squeaky voice. I'm laughing already at how funny his quotes would sound. They could then create a royal version of the mini to make up for how poorly the royal version of the standard double trouble got released.

I wouldn't mind having minis if they made them useful. By that, I mean making "Mini Gates" in Sky 5 that inly they can access. Then I'd buy a few. They're all so kawaii too!

Mini's are the perfect excuse to repose older gimmick Skylanders, characters who under normal circumstances will never be reposed.

Of Trap Team's minis, (and disregarding their run as sidekicks in Giants) which of the 16 mini's are the most unique? I would personally say Barkley, Thumpling, Eye-Small and Mini-Jini. Because they're characters that haven't been reposed. Every other mini has seen at least one repose before, thus they're equally redundant.

Minis of Swappers and Trap Masters would be nice in the future, if any.

Really don't care a lot about minis. The only one I would consider getting would be Knight light .

I agree with most of you....also The Bone Chompy had a good idea....they need to give the Mini's something to do that is for them only....the money an trinket in the library wasn't enough to justify making more of them. Yes they are cute...that was there idea for making them, but they need more to do...i.e. a purpose.

Maybe minis for the forgotten 7 along with reposes of them? Wham-Shell and Warnado should get reposes even though they got Lightcores. Boomer's mini can be called Bloomer! Also a Hoot Loop mini! He can be called Cute Loop or maybe Cute Knot/Hoot Knot (because he messed up making a loop)!

I do like the idea of gimmick characters getting minis. Just a few at a time, not the full roster of each game the following year.

Honestly I'd just prefer the minis to stay as a neat side collection, not full fledged playable characters. Especially when so many of the minis had full size characters that had been reposed to death.

I was totally okay with minis for Giants who never got a second release such as Thumpback and Eye Brawl. I'd like to see some trap master minis and I guess swapper minis, but they don't have to be swap-capable.

In my opinion, having a repose with a wow pow provides me with more incentive...at least for the first repose. IMO if minis have to stay I would go the path of core->mini->repose->retire or core->repose->mini ->retire. By this standard the re-released mini/sidekicks would've never happened. There are too many good characters to fixate on a select few, as they have done.

I don't see why minis can't get their own unique powers too.

Good point, but then that would defeat the idea that the developers can coast on the models already done or leverage their bigger brothers/sisters models.

I've been experimenting with the mini's and I really do only feel that they provide something different for the Giants . The dramatic size difference actually changes the movements strategies of eye brawl etc. and gives you a different way to play as the classic Giants.

A lot of people say the mini's are faster but it just looks that way coz they're tiny and look like they cover more ground ( I've been racing them lol ) .

I love how the Mini's look , but The ones based off cores barely have a smaller sprite in game and it really doesn't change their Play at all. The only really difference could be that being slightly smaller means you can't be hit by as many attacks, but then some of your attacks are smaller too so you probly can't hit as many enemies so it balances out.

Tigger happy to trigger snappy comparison is the worst I think. Basically the same.



They really should've just left most of these guys as "pets" , just make them Deal a bit more damage them a magic item and maybe give them some upgrades, but making them playable characters really seems like a bit of a waste for the cores. I think they were more unique charscters as pets.

In conclusion ... Just gimme swarm , hot head, crusher and bouncer lol
