Hey everyone. After almost two years of hiatus, the Haven has finally returned. Old and new users are welcomed. A story that took place all the way back to 2012. This RP is very complex, using real animals. If endangered then better. No extinct animals allowed, and while fictitious, the story heavily relies on realistic aspects, such as weather, travel distance and even instincts. There's no magic used. The only supernatural things are happening are the appearance of ghosts, and the characters can dream, which may or may not affect them in real life. For the more basic rules, go to the very first RP. As for the other aspects, read below...

1) Predators arriving and living at the Haven feed on fish, wetland ruminants or smaller animals like lizards, crustaceans and insects (this is what the characters welcoming the new resident will explain). As for the orcas, they feed mostly on fish, with seals being the only land animals they consume.

2) Antagonistic predators can attack forbidden fauna like the warblers, or even some of the main characters. Whether they are eaten whole and/or die afterwards depends solely on the user controlling the victim character(s). Remember to keep the blood minimum and avoid stronger content like gore if possible.

3) The Haven has the most variety when it comes to homes, like dens, caves, burrows, etc. Hunted island, despite having a slightly bigger jungle, doesn't have as much variety, but it has a meadow, something the Haven lacks. However, the wetland makes up for it, and it's where the ruminants gather.

4) A map of both the Haven and Hunted island can be viewed in the third RP, and the length of each terrain is described in the first RP so you'll have an idea on where you are and, more or less, know how long will it take for your character to reach certain places. The warbler species that inhabit it are grass and grey warblers.

5) Finally, the weather can be a very important element. It can rain or reach levels similar to a drought. Hunted island is well known for the thick mist that forms most of the time. The tide can also change on both islands.

Now for the story:
Three years have passed since Sybil met the python known as Naga. Throughout that time, many things have happened to the humble island. The now older civet has been training Siberian tiger Rose to be the new leader of the island, and has helped her and Sayan her mate raise their cubs Hunter and Snow, who have become prosper adults and have helped her kept the wolf threat at bay. Throughout this time, Sybil has also been keeping the humongous python happy, entertained, and above all, well fed. With him not hunting warbler's anymore, their population could finally grow. However, those who were still living in fear of the reptile's presence move to Hunted island, leaving space to those who stayed. But even with their decision, the panic still lingers.
Despite the snake having become mostly an ally, helping the Haven residents with the wolf threat and other outside dangers, it has become a threat to the island's delicate ecosystem. The pigeons that once roamed the wetland had gone extinct, victims of the python's monstrous appetite. The sanctuary having other predators like Crocux the saltwater crocodile doesn't help matters either. To solve the problem, Sybil instructed the orcas to lure prey animals into the island. The wetland is now home to gazelles and impalas, who are now part of the giant python's menu as well as other predators like Rose and her family. But with the much larger prey animals, combined with lack of his own predators and Global Warming increasing the heat, the still young Indian python is growing much faster than average, having become in those three years the most powerful animal of the entire island. Despite Sybil befriending him to some degree and wishing he could become an official member of the Haven, the limbless reptile has the freedom to do whatever he wants without anybody able to stop him and with Sybil practically spoiling his every whim. The civet's objective is to make the giant snake an official member of the Haven and erase the fear that clouds the beloved sanctuary. But with the warbler's protest increasing, especially due to the snake's growing friendship with the villainous mongoose Sholeh, the task has become far much harder. Naga has grown too much in the past years, much faster than the other predators on the island, he becoming a nearly invincible force of nature, and he will continue growing for the time he remains there. The island is too small, and the birds fear Sybil may soon lose control or that Naga will one day turn against them. If he does, he will be practically unstoppable. What will be Sybil decision? Will Naga turn against the Haven? Will the wolves keep pursuing them? And how will Rose handle her new position as leader? The Haven is still welcoming new residents looking for a sanctuary and escape the unforgivable world outside, but with the new dangers of the island, it may not be the best refugee anymore. There's the neighboring island, Hunted island, but it's leader, Barloc the cockatoo, is not very accepting of outsiders, especially predators. What will Sybil and soon to follow leader Rose do?

Name: Sayan
Species: Amur Leopard
Personality: He is cautious and has some minor trust issues; in part due to his previous experiences involving humans. However, the residents of the Haven (in particular Sybil and Rose) have proven to be quite helpful and have caused him to slow shred his solitary status over time. He has since grown to become a trustworthy individual-- willing to do anything to protect those he considers friend and even gaining a family in the form of a mate and two grown children.
Goal: To protect and look after his family, the Haven, and it residents. To that goal-- he is willing to do anything.
Note: Has many old scars resulting from prior shock collar usage and other events.

Species: Indian Python
Personality: Curious but self-centered. Wants to feel he is doing "good" to the world, but mainly interested in himself.
Goal: To satisfy his own curious need to "do good to the world" while also pleasing his own appetite.
Note: Oversized at about 12ft/3.7m long.

Name: Hunter
Species: Leoger
Personality: He is slightly adventurous but also more appears cool-headed at the same time. Although shy at first, he can be brave and is willing to do anything to protect those he comes to know. He is especially protective of family, but will happily help those he considers friend.
Goal: To keep Snow out of trouble and protect those he cares about.
Note: Slightly tan(ish) with leopard spots on the face and most of the upper body. Elsewhere-- broad black strips can be seen albeit somewhat blurred and breaking off into blurred rosettes. Appears to a mix between of a leopard and a tiger; leaning more towards the leopard side.

Good to be back everyone now then let's start with the basics

Gender: male
Species: Mongoose
Note: son of the dicesesd Terrence the king of theives used to live alone but was raising a baby warbler he named Angel and can't understand why she is so convinced she's part chicken

Name: Angel
Gender: female
Species: warbler
Note:was baby warbler who's parents were killed by shadow when he was an egg is being raised Terrence Jr but now that she's grown up she's convinced she's part chicken and is trying lay sterile eggs for sheloh.

Jack: a mistavous chimp who likes to case trouble for a little fun every now and then.

Crocux: the salt water croc is co administraitor of the haven ever since his fostor father Guardian died. He is a kind and gentle croc who is very large for his age. has become much more relaxed and way less stressed in fact his temper has definitely mellowed out but he doesn't like the python one bit

Shilis: a young plover and the adopted baby sister of the family. She's kind and protective and is Sozen's mate

Saris: Crocux's adopted younger brother. He was believed to have been dead but with the help of his biological younger brother Syris the blue iguana he lived.

Ravage: was once a killing machine is now one of the most gentle creatures in all of haven having lost most of his memory

James: a warbler who treats Ravage as his best friend and trusts Ravage completly regardless of the horrible things he's done

Guardian: after dieing his spirit remains at haven forever watching over his home and will appear in the dreams of others it give advice and aide whenever he can

Marina: a bottle nosed dolphin who was saved by Crocux in the past is now living in the waters of Haven like the orcas and is Crocux's mate

Name: Sybil
Species: Malabar civet
Personality: Creator and administrator of the Haven. Very smart and caring, but can be stubborn and prone to stress. She's aware of the current dangers of the Haven and constantly risks her life to make things right, while at the same time trying to resume a normal life.
Goal: To train Rose to be the next Haven leader and make Naga an official member of the Haven, plus make everyone lose their fear of him.
Note: Has a scar on her chest and both ears are somewhat cut.

Name: Mambo
Species: Kea parrot
Personality: Leader of the keas. Extremely mischievous and playful, but his heart is in the right place. He cares deeply about his flock, and is always there for Sybil. Pulls mean pranks on her. He’s very mature and responsible when he needs to be. Almost always under the companionship by his bulky bodyguard Cole, and Cole’s naughty and uptight sister Cheryl.
Goal: Help Sybil with anything he can and keep his flock safe.

Name: Cairo
Species: Killer whale (orca)
Personality: This former leader of the orca whales is someone to rely on. Most of the pod still looks up to him. He is rough around the edges, but is really a giant with a heart of gold, with a huge affection for Sybil and a fondness for almost every Haven resident, especially Rose. Even if limited to a water habitat, he is still willing to do wht it takes to help everyone.
Goal: To be of service to the pod and the Haven residents no matter the limits.

Name: Yodel
Species: Grey Warbler
Personality: Incredibly bitter, but also sly and intelligent. After a near death experience with Crocux, he is thinking on how to get his revenge of him.
Goal: To get even with Crocux for almost killing him.
Note: His feathers have grown, although he could never fly again.

Name: Peepers
Species: Grey Warbler
Personality: A kind and helpful old aged warbler who is incredibly knowledgable of the Haven, he is the bird whom Sybil trusts the most. Is very wise.
Goal: to help Sybil keep order at the Haven and train Lumos to be his replacement.

Name: Sholeh
Species: Ruddy mongoose
Personality: A former antagonist now living the Haven, with Rose’s permission. Is cunning and manipulative, and often thinks only of herself, with Naga being the only one she cares about. Thanks to a deal, she can feast on abandoned warbler eggs, but wouldn't mind more. Loves her friendship with Naga, believing it makes her untouchable.
Goal: To serve Naga.

Name: Warren
Species: Vulture
Personality: A kind and clumsy vulture who is exceedingly loyal to Sholeh, despite her mistreatment. He also acts as a flying steed for her. He gets along very well with Sybil and the other Haven residents, and doesn’t mean anyone harm. Is jealous of the attention Sholeh gives to Naga.
Goal: To be happy and win back Sholeh. Also help the Haven residents.

Name: Ruby
Species: Warbler
Personality: She's a kind warbler helping the mongoose Terrence take care of Angel, a little warbler whom he adopted and is now raising.
Goal: To help Terrence keep Angel safe.

Hunted Island residents…

Barloc: Leader of the cockatoos. He despises predators above else, and is usually mean and bitter, though he means well. Despite being on good terms with Rose, Sayan and their kids, he still distrusts predators and don't want them on his island unless they represent no threat to cockatoos.

Kali: Barloc’s wife and voice of reason. She takes most of the decisions. Unlike him, he is very trusting of everybody at the Haven and loves nothing more than to be helpful.

Whirlpool: A wombat with a huge heart and possibly the smartest, wisest and most knowledgeable residents of both islands despite his speech impediment (and a lazy eye). He lives in a tunnel that looks like a labyrinth. His love for medicine and discovery has helped the residents on more than one occasion. He is now everybody’s official doctor. His roommate, helper and apprentice is the serval Sunflame.

The cockatoo cousins (now adults):

Nia: Barloc and Kali’s daughter, and extremely mischievous. She loves danger, much to her parent’s dismay, and usually runs off to play and find adventure, always dragging Angus with her. Even as an adult, she hasn't changed.

Angus: Nia’s cousin, and son of Barloc’s deceased brother. Although he is usually as carefree and fun as his cousin, he goes on the more cautious side. Despite his awareness, he follows his cousin everywhere, no matter if there is a chance of danger.

New cockatoo:

Morris: A regal yet arrogant cockatoo courting Nia, much to her father and cousin's dismay.

There are several pod orcas that may be integral to the plot:

Dagger: A young and energetic near adult who wishes to be the pod's leader someday, even if it means facing his idol Jet. Can be wild and uncontrollable, but means well most of the time.

Ellen: Dagger's mother and second in command of the pod. She is very strict when it comes to rules and the safety of the Haven so she is somebody you can count on when needing help.

Gustave: An enormous orca, second in size only to Cairo. He is extremely strong and the best hunter, but is very gentle with everybody, especially the Haven residents and the younger orcas.

Randy: Ellen's brother and Dagger's uncle, who loves to give rides and is very good discovering new places. He's a major explorer, and a very good friend to practically anybody he meets.

Renee: A young Antarctic orca who is Randy's new mate. She moved in with the pod after the Haven's drought is over. She is easily impressed and admires Sybil greatly.

Marylin: A mute orca who is possibly the kindest soul in the entire Haven.

Raphael: A middle aged orca in love with Marylin, and the only one who can understand her almost completely. He usually translates everything she says.

Ricky and Rumble: Two brothers. They are quite brutal when hunting, and even though they mean well, they can be very wild. Ricky is the youngest and the most mild mannered, but even he can fall into a rebellious attitude like his older brother.

Ooc: I might key word might add a new character later on after I get back from the family reunion

OOC: Time to start... now.

At the biggest tree of a small island in the South Pasific, there was a reunion of warbler's and keas, with one mammal on the highest branch. Sybil the Malabar civet was in a reunion with the birds of the Haven, the first in weeks.
"How long will we keep this charade? The snake has already began to show up in our territory." one warbler screamed, prompting Sybil to shush him.
"Well that's the idea! Naga has been here for years now, and he has kept his promise. He hasn't attacked any of you, nor your eggs, not even with Sholeh's friendship. And for the record, she has also changed for the better." Sybil told everyone, but some warblers kept protesting.
"The snake's the menace! We have seen it. We have seen how long he is. How much he's grown in the past three years. He wiped out the pigeons Sybil! That should say something to you! And you even had to brought those dumb, tall goats to the wetland to prevent him from turning against us!" another warbler blurted out, with Lumos being the one shushing him this time.
"That was just so that he could have larger prey and less time to hunt. Won't you please hear me out? The python is practically another Haven resident now, and if you have forgotten, he has helped us a great deal against the wolves! They are the real threat!" Sybil reminded, but the small birds were still adamant in their opinion.
"We have Crocux for that. He's our real friend, and probably the only one who could hold on a fight against that snake if he ever decides to turn against us! How can you forget how many of us he killed?" another warbler asked, with Sybil remaining firm.
"I'm very sorry for what happened, but you have to know he was simply a predator acting out of instinct. He didn't know this island was a sanctuary, even less that hunting you was wrong to hunt you. All we can do is honor the deceased." Sybil commented, but that just worsened the protest. Lumos took his turn to talk to try to calm his fellow warblers.

Cheryl, the sister of their leader's bodyguard, couldn't take it anymore. She flew below the tree, rubbing her head.
"Ugh! I hate those reunions. Those little birds are so annoying!" she commented to herself, not even knowing why she even attended those stupid meetings. It was always about the same subject. The Haven already had many predators. Why were they so against a particular one? Was it because of all the warblers he killed? That was truly unfortunate indeed, but for how long will the warblers bear a grudge?

Crocux is at the base of the tree, while he agreed that the Python is dangerous he could also say that he never fully agreed to the rules so if he chose to he could attack but chose to not but in knowing his input would just make things worse.

Cheryl was surprised, but not startled, at the sudden greeting. She had expected to be alone.
"Oh, hello." she said rather neutrally, not minding her presence but having expected to be alone. All that talk among the warblers and Sybil had her with a headache.

Meanwhile, Cairo was looking at the tree from a distance, knowing a meeting was taking place there. Sybil often vented with him when they got too heated, and it made him feel so bad the overwhelming amount of stress she had to go through because of those paranoid warblers. One would think that after so many years, they would've let go of the hate and give the snake a chance. He already had a much better food source than them, not to mention he hasn't attacked them once, not even for the egg obsessive Sholeh, whom everyone already knew was the python's friend.

Crocux says "while I can understand your gratitude he took advantage of Auntie Sybil, something I just can't forgive, besides he isn't willing to fully conform to the rules he's just taking better options. I don't trust him"

Crocux says "whatever you say kid"

Cheryl shook her head at the both of them, finding their argument petty.
"Well if you ask me, those warblers are just a bunch of paranoids who can't let go of the past! Ok, so the snake killed several of them, and it's sad and horrible, but that's just how nature works. Can't they be grateful that the snake stopped after Sybil spoke to him? He was respectful enough to honor the deal." Cheryl expressed, very sick and tired of the same arguments over and over again.
"You Crocux, didn' you eat a warbler before? Sure, he miraculously turned out alive in the end and the jerk did asked for it, but you're still a giant, dangerous predator too." Cheryl them added, finding it ridiculous how one was accepted and the other one wasn't. This was a sanctuary for everyone who respected the rules and wanted a better life. There should be no preferences.

Crocux looks away saying "I still regret what I did to Yodal and I know he wants revenge against me for hurting him and making him unable to fly. He was trying to make peace with me and I responded by trying to kill him. I'm not in any way proud of it. I can only hope that someday by some merical he'll forgive me"

Cheryl knew she was right, but knew the warblers were too impossible to convince if all these years didn't do the trick.
"They won't forgive. Just because they were in the island first makes the, believe they can do whatever they want." Cheryl expressed furiously, believing the warblers were so used to hating the snake they found it impossible to let go of the emotion. She then heard what Crocux said.
"Don't count on it. Warblers hold a grudge, just not him. In all honesty though, it's quite amazing how sturdy the little guy was for surviving such an ordeal. Never imagined someone could be eaten and still survive... although maybe of course... Sybil." she exclaimed, remembering the time where Jet had to eat her and how famous she was for that move, but unlike that occasion, Crocux did try to chew and did it with every intention of killing him.

At her tree, Sholeh was dozing off, reminiscing about many things. She had deceased warbler eggs just like she was promised, but that wasn't enough for her. She begged Naga many times in the last to kill a few warblers, those who nobody would miss so that she could have the eggs, but every time he refused, not wanting to cause suspiscions. He already had the approval of most of the Haven and he didn't want to ruin it. She wondered though if he really wanted to be an official member of the Haven or if he was worried about Crocux, the only predator strong enough to face him. Naga was growing at a fast pace, but so was Crocux, even though it wasn't at the same rate.

Meanwhile with Terrence Jr. Angle is trying again to lay an egg with no success.
Terrence says "why are you so determined to lay sterile eggs?"
Angle would just respond with "because someone needs them dad"
Terrence just rolls his eyes

At Hunted island, the cockatoo leader had his own problems. His dear daughter was being stalked by a cockatoo that barely anybody liked. Morris had been from a rival gang that lived on the other side of the island, but after a dangerous storm, he ended in their territory. Despite being kind enough to take him in, he was now courting his daughter and had no idea how to get rid of him. The times he always tried to kick him out, he would always disappear like magic. It was an uncomfortable predicament. It was not the kind of mate he wanted for his daughter, especially because Barloc was certain he was on,y after her to guarantee his future position as leader.

Quote:

Rose meanwhile was sitting on the beach looking out at the playing orcas. She was wearing a small red flower on her ear which Sayan had given her as a gift. She smiled as she took in the smell of the sea and sand. The air slightly blowing through her fur.

"Morning Beautiful.," a soothing familiar voice said from behind the Siberian Tiger. It was no other than Sayan who would recognize the soon-to-be-leader anywhere. He soon sat down and watched as the orcas continued playing. He could recall when they were younger and when they themselves would often play with-- or rather in --the orcas. It had been a game designed to sooth boredom on *their* part, but had proved to be a source of entertainment and distraction for the landlocked residents as well. Elsewhere, Hunter was keeping an eye on his sister albeit from a currently unseen distance. Fortunately, it was just Cheryl and not one of the other more troublesome birds.

The meeting continued for a long while, until Lumos decided to end it prematurely for everyone's sakes. Things had calmed down a little bit, but the same, paranoid concerns still remained. The warblers scattered all around the foliage while the keas returned to their own nests part of the giant tree. Lumos flew besides Sybil.
"My apologies for everything Mistress. I know it's hard, but you can't blame them after the snake almost wiped out every single one of us. And the fact that he devoured every single pidgeon on the wetland just increased the concern." Lumos expressed, not wanting Sybil to feel stressed but at the same time not completely disagreeing with his fellow warblers.
"I know Lumos. And I do understand. But the pidgeons were too small to be a decent food source. The impalas and antelopes should do the trick though. They are far bigger and they make Naga hunt far less than he did before. My only regret is that I didn't think about that sooner." Sybil said, knowing too well that Naga ate th pidgeons faster than they could reproduce, leading to their extinction. But the new ruminants not only were an excellent food source for him, but also for the other predators of the Haven, and there were plenty of them.

Finally free of the meeting, Sybil could go and take a well deserved nap.
"Going to my tree now Lumos. My regard to Peepers, and tell him I wish him well." she said before climbing down, Peepers being senile and almost unable to fly. Lumos was taking care of him.
"Will do." he replied, flying away. Despite his old age, Peepers was still well respected among his peers, and many still came for his advice whenever they had doubts and questions.

Sybil went down the tree, taking advantage of Crocux being there to jump. His back was great to cushion her fall, though she always avoided landing in the small back spikes. They were quite painful.
"Oh, hello Snow. Hope you didn't hear any of that. Those meetings are stressful." Sybil commented, not wanting Snow to be involved in any of the Haven's problems at such a young age. But despite her youth, it still surprised Sybil how much she's grown. Rose was going a great job, and knew the Haven will have an amazing generation of administrators even after she was gone.

Crocux says "ready to go to your tree and sleep Auntie?"

"Heh, you know me well." Sybil said, glad that she would get a ride. She thought Snow was only there to greet her, so unaware of her real intentions, she was more than ready to head home and take a long, overdue rest...

"It is-- a fine day for play, as the kids might say.," Sayan said partly resemblanting the old days, while also thinking of the new generation. He rubbed his head against Rose's and offered an smile as he recalled the days of old. The two had first formed some kind of protected/protector relationship, had soon became friends, had almost became siblings for a time, and had then become much much more to each other. The two felines were now longtime mates and proud parents of two hybrid 'cubs'-- a miracle that possibly couldn't have worked anywhere else.

Of course, it wasn't all good and there had been many struggles. Sayan had his scars and Rose's life had been put in jeopardy more times than he was comfortable with. Still; they had held up and even thrived in the Haven-- and Rose would even someday become the leader of that Haven. There were still many questions such as Naga, but Naga had saved Rose...

Meanwhile, Hunter soon decided to make an appearance and walked out from the bush from which he had been hiding-- a skill perhaps inspired by his once elusive and excluded father. "Morning Sis! Morning Sybil!," the more leopard-like leoger greeted in a friendly tone.

And elsewhere, a rather unpopular topic was awakening and uncurling themselves from their sleep. Naga was awake...

"Hey Hunter." Sybil greeted back, looking tired but still managing to give him a warm smile. The two of them were so big but Snow looked slightly larger than him.
"Sorry Snow. Your Auntie has to rest or she won't work well." she apologized, hating to disappoint, but knowing from experience how disastrous omitting sleep could be. She wished she could do something more creative with her time, but felt like she needed a rest before being ready to do anything.

Meanwhile, Warren was looking for carrion in the outback. He would occasionally greet Crystal, being great company. Since Sholeh barely paid any attention to him, the caracal was the friend he could get. She lived out in the open, so he could visit her freely, while in the dense foliage of the Haven, he would usually tripped crash with the branches.

"Indeed-- I can make sand castles with you, sis! Or.. perhaps you might be interested in a race?," Hunter said volunteering to entertain his slightly more mischievous sister and even tempting her with a smirk.

"Knowing them and knowing us-- one is tempting the other into mischief or vice versa.," Sayan responded with a smile and a slight laugh.

"I'll play with you later." Sybil promised, waiting for Crocux to bring her to her tree... unless he was thinking of pulling one of his naughty pranks. Crocux had become bigger and scary, but he still lived jokes. Had to be because of all those times he hung out with Mambo.

“Good day Warren.” The caracal Crystal said. “It’s always great to see you!”

"Good day Mademoiselle Crystal. Quite the heat out here as usual. Have some remains I could have?" Warren asked, the caracal sometimes giving him what was left of her own kills.

Crocux takes Sybil to her tree not planning on pranking her since he's mellowed out besides after dropping her off he was going to go to the beach to see Marina.

Sybil was grateful for the prankless ride, wanting to go to her tree and rest immediately. She brainstormed for a while about the meeting, but it wasn't long before she fell asleep.

But while Sybil got to rest, another animal did the contrary. Sholeh was done being lazy for now, so as was usual, she left her home to go visit Naga. She still visited often, but with his new source of prey, he slept more constantly, so they agreed to see each other on certain times.

Crocux goes to the beach to see Marina.

At the beach Marina came over and waited alone for Crocux.

Sholeh arrived to the swamp, Naga home, although she despised the fact that even after all these years, he was still deciding to live in this disgusting place instead of claiming his own portion of the Haven. The warblers and their stupid paranoia. She once begged Naga to hunt a few warblers from time to time so she could have the eggs, but not even with all he liked her he would agree to such a deal. At first she believed it was because he was waiting to get bigger and stronger to overthrow Sybil, but now she started to believe the python may actually like her and the rest of the Haven residents. Or maybe he simply didn't want to be the force of destruction Shadow wanted him to be.

It didn't matter. If that was the reason, Sholeh found it silly. Shadow didn't exist anymore, not even in spirit, so there was no reason for him to be defiant. But maybe she just underestimated the python's true nature. But whatever the case, Sholeh still appreciated his friendship.
"Naga? Naggie boy! Guess who's home?" Sholeh called, figuring he should be awake at this hour. He feasted on an impala last week, but she imagined he had digested it completely by now and was ready for another hunt...

Marina swims over to the beach and waits for Crocux to arrive and sees Rose and Sayan and says "hi you two what's up~?"

Marina says "well Crocy was supposed to come see me today, so how are the kids? You thinking of having anymore?"

"SSSholeh-- my dear. Welcome back.," a familiar voice soon said as a large and seemingly growing Naga soon uncamouflaged himself in front of the Ruddy Mongoose. The sight of Sholeh was always a welcome one in his eyes and even more so as the years passed.

Sholeh was already so used to Naga she never got startled whenever he showed up. She still couldn't believe she managed to befriend such a powerful animal. Everyone else always left her for 'dear' Sybil.
"Life been treating you well as always. Still digesting your last meal? Heh, I still can't believe Sybil went through all the trouble of finding those dumb herbivores just to please you." Sholeh commented, knowing that while every other predator took advantage of the new prey source, Naga was the original motivation for Sybil to make a move. Was she fearful or did she really cared about Naga? It was a question that still eluded the mongoose.

Marina smiles wishing for children of her own

At her tree, Sybil was slumbering peacefully. Trico and Guardian didn't visit her as often as before, especially when there were brief naps like this one, but she always welcomed their presence. Whenever she needed some urgent information, she could always talk to Crystal to summon them.

"Only because I let you Sis!," Hunter joked as the two siblings came to a playful stop. "Hunter, Snow-- staying out of trouble, I presume?," Sayan said with a sly smile focusing more on the slightly taller and perhaps slightly faster sister. "Don't worry father! We were just racing each other.," Hunter said looking at the others with a smile not unlike that of his dad.

"That particular impala has successfully satisfied me-- for a time. I'll give her this; they do last longer than their pigeon counterparts.," Naga said slurring in his usual snake-like fashion and recalling the days of old. The pigeons, dumb as they may be, had proved to be more than a little entertaining until their eventual demise. However, it was true that they required more numerous hunts out of him verses the newer alternative. "I trust you are well?," the large serpent then asked his good dear Sholeh. Indeed, the Impala had been digested for some time with another hunt soon due...

"Sure sis!," Hunter responded as Sayan smiled. It would be intriguing to see just how large the cubs would grow-- being hybrids and all.

Marina smiles and as if on cue Crocux comes galloping over. "Took you long enough Crocy" Marina said
Crocux says "hey you know those meetings take a while and I was taking Auntie back to her tree to rest"
