So I haven't been around in a bit ...trying to stay away from the hype...but started pre ordering today..got 5 sensi pack off amazon...got the dark starter and crash starter from Gamestop...and regular starter from Toys r us (w/kaos sensei)...is that it for pre-ordering?...or am I missing something?...I'm not one to wait for sales...I always try to get everything when it first comes out...any advice would be helpful at this point...

Wake up early on Sunday, drive to GameStop and be waiting for the store to open. Pick up my already-paid-for Dark Edition starter pack and the free bonus Kaos figure.

Pick up Mysticat + magic crystal, both crystal 3-packs and Ambush and Barbella, and the Air Strike level pack if it's there. If we don't have a release date for the Candy-Coated Chopscotch, then I might pick her up as well. (If Amazon opens preorders for these figures between now and then, I'll buy them there for the 20% Prime preorder discount, even if it means waiting an extra day.)

Cross my fingers while driving home and hope my Amazon preorder for the villain sensei 5-pack arrives on Sunday, but don't expect it until Monday.

Open the box, install the disc and PLAY THE BEJEEZUS OUT OF IMAGINATORS with my roommate until dinner time.

After constant changes, I think I've finally settled on something

In terms of Senseis, Ambush and Chopscotch are priority for Wave 1 with Starcast and Ember being priority for Wave 2. (If I can find Wave 2 somewhere near here. Doubt it, but the nearest TRU is quite far)
Maybe (If I have any money left) then I get either only the Water or Light Creation Crystals or the Life/Water/Air Triple Pack.

Get home, unbox, play for about 10 hours. Hope to god I don't have rehearsal the following day

I usually spend the first half of the day checking out all the stores as i don't usually get much prices/ day 1 special notice ahead of time . Plus sometimes they have different stuff out day 1 so I've gotta make sure I'm getting the best stuff for the best price.

Coz I ordered the Amazon villain bundle there's not much else to buy in wave 1' so I'll probably get everything else lol , except variants.

Well I've said the content, now here's the plan.

Wake up and drive to local TRU. Pick up Ambush, Legendary Tri-Tip, light crystal, crystal triple pack and the wave 2 stuff I mentioned if it's there. Oh and if the "big release" rumor is true, pray that Blaster-Tron and Ro-Bow are there.

Eat at a diner (it's tradition) and check out new stuff.

Drive to GameStop and pick up my dark starter and free Kaos.

Go home and spend the day playing, checking here and watching a let's play from my favorite YouTuber (Blitzwinger if for some reason you're curious) while the though "why must I have class tomorrow" nags me.

Spend the entire next day waiting for the big brown truck to drive up and hand me a box and then, I can finally unleash the magnificent TAE KWON CROW!

I am 99.9% sure that the "big release" rumor has more to do with a bored, low-level data entry person working for TRU just copying and pasting a release date in to the system to reserve the SKUs than a sneaky full release of all the figures on Day 1... I've worked in both retail and data entry, and sometimes you just gotta make something up and go back to fix it later to get the job done. :/

Okay...here we go:

1. The afternoon before the release, make one of my legendary shopping lists, which lists what I have to get at each store, what time each store opens and their number.

2. The night before, play SuperChargers for the last time in a while. Revisit my favorite level with my favorite Vehicles and SuperChargers, and play a bit of racing with my favorite Villains.

3. Go to bed REALLY early, with my alarm set for 11:00/11:30 PM sharp. Get about...not even a minute of sleep because I can't control the hype.

4. Wake up and skedaddle over to Toys R Us for the midnight release. Buy everything except for the Starter Packs and the villains in the bundle.

5. Head back home, open one character and one crystal just for the fun of it, and go back to bed. Set my alarm for either 7 or 9 AM. If there is a Target exclusive, then 7. If not, then 9.

6. If I am up at 7, I'll eat breakfast and then head to Target to pick up their variant. Then I will go to Best Buy for Steel-Plated Hood Sickle. That is, if Target has one this year. If they don't, I'll wake up at 9, have breakfast, head to Best Buy, and then pick up SP Hood Sickle.

7. From Best Buy, I will go to Gamestop, where I pick up the Dark Edition, the Crash Pack and Kaos.

8. Head home, and open up all the characters.

9. Play the game, starting with Cortex, my favorite this year, and then place all the other Senseis on the Portal so I unlock all the special pieces and secret techniques.

10. Make my Imaginators, and then continue playing the game like a madman all afternoon.

11. Finally stop playing, get a really bad headache for playing too much (this always happens), make dinner (A.K.A heat up some chicken nuggets), and then play some more.

12. Go to bed, exhausted, yet still not wanting to go to sleep, and lay in bed thinking about all the Imaginators I want to make until I finally drift off to sleep and return to my normal everyday schedule the next morning.

Bonus: Wait for the bundle to arrive, which Amazon said would come around the 21st-25th.

And that ends my Day One.

Ok, I'm going to do the same thing C-K did.

1. The day before the legendary Imaginators game comes out, I'm going to play Superchargers, every level, (maybe not all but at least the good ones) and use every single Supercharger and vehicle I own.

If Wave Two is there, I'll also get Starcast, Hood Sickle, and Aurora.

5. In the car, try to keep myself from opening them so I can make a video of unboxing all them.

6. Once I get home, open up the Light Creation Crystal first, because it's the smallest box, and to be honest, the least exciting thing. After that, I'll open up all the single pack Senseis, then end the video because it would be too long (but who doesn't want to see me unbox stuff for twenty minutes )

7. Start the next video, which would be unboxing the dual packs, and the adventure pack.

8. Record the final video before playing the game, which is unboxing the Starter Pack!

9. Put the game disk in the PS4, and start the first blind playthrough!

10. Use Mega Ram Dark Spyro first, because I want to start a tradition, but only for a bit, just like every other Sensei, so I can get a feel out of all of them.

11. Complete level one and start level two, and then go on darkSpyro and make a topic about First experiences of the game. (NO ONE MAKE THAT TOPIC THAT WILL BE MY DUTY! I WILL MAKE SURE IT'S MY DUTY TOO )

12. Go on darkspyro, have supper, go to bed, etc.

1. Day before, i'll hold a "graduation" ceremony for the superchargers. (Play pomp and circumstance with the superchargers surrounding my computer) I did this last year with the trap masters, so i'm making it a tradition.

2. Get hype. Watch walkthroughs of the levels so i know where the shrines/collectables/soul gems are (idc about the game being spoiled so)

3. Stay up as late as i can. I'll try to stay up all night, but if i get tired, i'll sleep.

4. set alarm for 5AM. I'm an early guy.

5. Get ready, and go to TRU for my starter pack, light crystal, magic crystal, legendary tri tip, barbella, ambush, and chopscotch.

6. get home, and play for as long as i can.

7. post impressions, upload recording of 1st level playthrough. take photos, ect.

8. sleep.

(i plan on pre-ordering a villain bundle.)

Okay so what C-K did was pretty cool, so I'm following too.

This is my plan for the 14th:

1. The day before, my brother and I recite the plans for the next morning. (Because we don't have a midnight release here)

2. TRY and go to bed earlier, but I doubt it'll work, especially with all the hype on top.

3. Wake up at 6:00 AM and have a quick chat with my brother about how hyped we are while we wait to leave. Then arrive at the store and wait for the doors to open so we can get in straight away. Then we'll burst into the store get the gorgeous Cortex, Crash, Krankcase, Wolfgang, Tae, Tri-Tip and Kaos and recording the starter pack unboxing video outside the building. Then head down town so we can buy a PS4 so we can actually play the damn thing. XD We'll also get some food on the way back.

4. When I get home I'll unbox all of my other Senseis for my channel too, and then upload them all throughout the day while I play it. I'll probably play it until I'm literally falling asleep at the end of the day.

5. Check up on dS and mention how ****ing cool the game is and other stuff like that before bed.

I've just ordered the starter pack on Amazon, will wait for it to arrive by the end of the first week. After it arrives, I'll play the game with just the basic Wii U starter until sales start to come in for the characters. After that, I'll buy all of Wave 1, then Wave 2, and so forth. Not too interesting compared to the others.

Ill kame a video unboxing it on one of my alternate channels alled Unboxingtheboxes and play the game with my neighbor until he has to get home
