I mean, TKC and Barbella aren't AMAZING characters but I do think more of them after seeing their gameplay. I'm still salty about no Chef Pepperjack but I do think that TKC's attacks are creative (if a bit awkward looking)

He doesn't really offer anything new from what I've seen so far. Just another shuriken spamming character.

Tae Kwon Crow looks great, the Buzzer Beak attack is amazingly clever.

WOW. I'm surprised. Barbella is instantly my favorite Earth Skylander now. The attacks are super unique and she's awesome. Her backstory though... I can't

Anyway, this is why we don't judge on a character before we see them.


Tae Kwon Crow? Still my second favorite villain this year. The fact how he can summon Buzzer Beak is honestly amazing. (GIANT BUZZER BEAK? WHAT!?) I love how he has a roundhouse kick too, but he still doesn't exactly fit fire as well as Hood Sickle fits Dark, since he only has one Fire related attack, but I'm not complaining. I'm satisfied.

I know right! I got home and TAE KWON CROW HAD GAMEPLAY! *MIND BLOWN*

Barbella's gameplay remids me of Splat.

I don't entirely see how Barbella's attacks are unique. It's just a swinging melee attack, a weird projectile, and yet another rock hand attack to add to the pile.

The rock hands slide foward in a nice effect, tho. Kinda hoped there'd be more references to fitness though, it kinda looks like they attempted yoga poses but it's so hard to see. Maybe stretching excercises or summoning statues of poses.

I hoped Barbella would summon crystals all over the place, but the fact that she's a fitness trainer makes up for it.

Haha TKC actually seems pretty cool. Not amazing yet though. The buzzer beak summoning is great. ( they must be friends lol ).

I like that they didn't go over board on the fire element stuff for him.
You can see that his switch to the fire element was pretty subtle and really only just caused by him learning to to do a roundhouse fire kick.


hopefully grave clobbers new water element is done tastefully too.


I've gotta say that the town level looks really well done , they've brought great depth to a level that Looks amazing and interesting to run through.

also I believe it's one of the adventure levels , as seen in the achievement icon

GC does need the overhaul though, he's pretty mediocre being so slow; his only good tactic was using the bones and that's too Undead.

Barbella looks a lot better than I thought she'd be. I like her a lot.

Tae Kwon Crow is just glorious in every way, of course.

Yeah , I assume that bone thing what will definately be replaced by his water attack. Primary attack will be brawling, secondary will be water themed and third I guess could be just about anything based on tkc's ability to summon whirlybirds. Hopefully he gets something Egyptian themed coz I'd like to see them touch on that a bit more considering his outfit.

I think the primary level in those videos is Scholarville. The second area in Barbella's video is an Earth zone and in TKC's a Fire zone.

It's that level, it matches the special achievement for it. We've yet to see one that doesn't match the ones on the list and doesn't fit as a Realm or Adventure.

I forget his username, but he's the guy who claims he was a "Skylanders super fan" and said anyone who had anything nice to say about the games was just being payed by Activision? Was he blocked or something?

Ignoring the fact that I wrote about crystals a few posts ago, yes, I'm aware of that. But the color and the way they're cuted just looks similar.

FINALLY checking the footage, that door in the fire area seems similar to the one we've seen in the trailers repeatedly in a jungle area.

I did see it, but since we know there can be multiple Storytellers, we could see more.

I actually love what they did with Barbella. She is a lot more strategic and more ranged than I thought she would be and Tae Kwon Crow is now a two for one deal with villains. I mean Buzzer Beak is back, but now as a friendly ally summon for TKC and it surprisingly works well with him. Also anyone notice all of the emphasis in his backstory about his element change. Now wants to help other ninjas not to go down the dark path he did and is basically now working in the fire element. So in case no one got why he was a dark villain it's because of the simple ninja goes dark side villain scenario in case some didn't get it.

I got bored so i edited some stuff on the Skylanders Website & tada! (i've done more to the page i'll be making a video of it, (i even did the wishlist )

Here's a Tip use https://obsproject.com/ that way you don't have the silly bandicam watermark. When I see it I think 12yr olds have made the video (No offence) and it annoys me. But I reckon opbsproject works a lot better than bandicam as well

Oh wow. Those new Chopscotch attacks are just amazing and super fast. I like it!

I also noticed she attacked MUCH faster with with her axe in her basic attack. That's much better, since it was somewhat slow with her combos.

So is that like a training arena ?

Not really. More like a testing area only created so producers can test things in the game. Generally these things are not available at the final game.

Well this is quite a good thing to come home to after a long audition. Barbella looks super awesome. TKC's Giant Buzzer Beak is probably just an upgrade at the end of a path but it's nice how he can fire 3 shurikens (since that's what our other ninja star thowing gimmick character Stink Bomb did in early footage for SF)
