Three other places mentioned it(8bittheater, Mouse and Keyboard, some other with b-roll footage)meaning this was a scheduled event, but none mentioned the villain thing. I heard Irate Gamer makes stuff up quite a lot or doesn't do the research(ok, he straight up doesn't most of the time, but not sure about Skylanders stuff), so take it with a grain of salt or go by what the other groups also said. It's still worth keeping around in case it does turn out to be true, though I doubt it.

Here's something interesting that I found in that full playthrough of Ca'n Cluck: Ranking up actually effects gameplay. And not in an "Unlocks hats" sort of way, but in an actually pretty important gameplay changing way. The video shows that ranking up to rank 4 will either let you boost the amount of EXP you get, or the amount of gold you collect, which is a fairly major change.

What I got from the demo:

Super Shot shoots more times than your press the button.

The vehicles are a bit weird to control at first but you get used to it.

Using Hot Streak's dash attack and speed pads on the ground triple the value of Gear Bits in addition to drifting.

When you press the directional pad, you get 4 options; wheel mods, back mods, HORN mods, and vehicle stat upgrading.

You use Gear Bits to upgrade both the stats and attacks of the vehicle. You can upgrade the stats anywhere.

Spitfire is about as tall as Wash Buckler's bubble gun.

The tallest part of Hot Streak, the back of it, goes up to the top of Wash Buckler's belt. It's about 1 and 1/3 times as long as Wash Buckler's pedestal.

The Lock Master Imp is a bit tricky to control.

The elemental vehicle zones are just zones where certain elements of vehicles are stronger.

The graphics are amazing and the attention to detail on the toys is amazing. There's little to no paint blemishes.

The portal looks like it can fit about 3 boxed characters.

You can't play without a vehicle on the portal at all times.

Found some good news: in the options menu, you have the ability to skip dialogue. You can switch dialogue skipping to either "always" or "replay only."

Also, found Nightfall's Soul Gem in a "randomized" chest. Not sure if I should write her soul gem ability on here, but the name is pretty cool.

I placed a few different older characters on the portal and they all looked pretty cool. As was said earlier, the graphics were amazing. Purposefully only played for a little while because I didn't want to spoil next weekend.

If you could not see from the video that was posted earlier, the E3 Hot Streak does show up as an in-game variant as Exclusive Event Edition Hot Streak. None of the variants were shown in the collection pages. I am guessing they will only show up once you place each variant on the portal.
