I have already criticized a lot of other aspects that bug me about this game... Cards are just the tip of the iceberg.

I personally have no idea why they would want to ditch so may aspects of the series and yet they did!
I literally see no reason to modify those features so much but... Ok... It's not I can do something to change it.

I guess because they shown a lot more of traditional gameplay in the Nintendo trailer.
They balanced vehicles and platforming well in this one.

Probably because the true focus this time were the Skymiibos.

Yes. I spend the last two months taking my piles of cards and stickers and organizing them into folios. Perfecto. Now I really look forward to it.

There's more criticism that just the cards, as Drek said--however my biggest problem is how online will be used, will PvP be back, and/or will toys to life make a comeback (Quests, Heroics or new system) or have they buried those deep in some undead zones forever that even Chomp Chest couldn't uncover. Lack of a toys to life customization system in Trap Team decreased potential time I could've spent in the game by dozens of hours easily, and this will be a factor on how involved I will be in the new entry.

Though I have no knowledge on whether SC: Racing is all racing or not; I believe the trailer was the Wii U version, with its higher quality of graphics and how they used the console version logo at the end.

I don't understand why Activision doesn't at least reveal anything about it. Apart from some logo's and starter packs. There must be something out there that could help those who are hoping to see the contents.

Doesn't make sense, unless the Nintendo starters don't include them. Well actually, if people go digital on the starter pack, perhaps they want the ability to upsell on these figures after purchase.

Nintendo starters have either Bowser or DK (with their appropriate vehicle) in the packaging, in Spitfire and Hot Streak's place.

They seriously put Stealth Elf in a single pack, when she's already in every single starter pack... I am quite frankly amazed at their decision to put her everywhere. At this point, I won't be surprised if she's in a combo pack as well. Vicarious Visions, you really have a serious case of Stealth Elf obsession which you should get checked with a doctor before it's too late.

Gill Grunt might as well just go back to bed, Stealth Elf wins the re-releases by a long (Super) Shot. At least he wasn't in any starter packs since Spyro's Adventure.

well I am glad to hear that terrafin is in wave 1 and we can get hot streak and hopeful spitfire outside the starter pack but seriously stealf elf will be the series 2 cynder all over again

Regarding Stealth Elf and Hot Streak single, don't forget there's also a digital version of Super Chargers as well as the Nintendo only people that won't pick up the main Starter. It's a nice touch...if they're available at launch .

Unless anyone shares the game with a friend or sibling who wouldn't want to share the Stealth Elf, I doubt her single pack will sell very well.

Yes i agree with TTD that they are putting Sure Shot Stealth Elf in a single pack for those that are getting the game Digital Pack and later on want the figure. And i knew they would put Spitfire an Hot Streak in Single an Combo Packs...because of the Nintendo Guest Stars.

You forget that the cards may be placed at the bottom of the packages under the toys, much like Adventure Packs.

What about the bottom of the pack inside? No one has these packs to confirm that there are no cards.

Yeah,packaging looks big enough to fit the card in the bottom, going from the scale of the E3 Hot Streak and how Shark Tank looks compared to a figure. It's not like before where it was curved and could damage the card, it's a huge rectangle.
