CHAPTER 9 SEASON FINALE


“Where is the boy?”
“Sir, we have lost contact with Mr. Fury.”
“I thought we made a deal!”
“Yes sir, we did. He is not playing by the rules.”
“Well I am going to have to go over there and do a little “business” with Mr. Fury himself.

“Wait, what is the citadel”, I asked.

“It is a hidden area, only known to the rebellion. After the core of light was destroyed, everyone evacuated it. It became ruins. It drifted away, far, far away. While Flynn was on a scouting mission, he found it. He alerted us and we came there. We rebuilt the core of light, and settled there. Eon hasn’t found us since. I don’t know how he found Skylanders Academy though. They are onto us.” answered Jared.

“Coming in view sir. Going to start landing. BOOM!” said Flynn.

Flynn had come with us on his ship. It was almost like a boat, but it could fly. I could see the citadel. It was huge. It was a couple of floating islands connected by giant chains. In the middle I saw a dome that shot light out of the top. As I came closer to it, I felt more and more powerful.

I was supposed to meet Portal Elder Novo. I wonder what he would be like. Why did they had to take me here? Wolfgang didn’t seem that hard. Why were they scared that I defeated him? I thought that was a good thing.

“You are going to need a couple of upgrades,” Jared told me.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“You and your friends here are going to need a couple of upgrades. We have a lab back at the citadel, they could fix you up.”

“Welcome to the citadel children!” Jared said as we hopped off of Flynn’s ship.

The place was amazing. It was full of really cool tech. I was very suprised, I had thought this place fought with swords and stuff.

“This area is all 100% top secret. We got pretty much everything from you humans,” said Jared.

It was like I was back at home, but it was a lot more advanced. I read a sign. “Area 26, Sector 12, do not enter without authorized permission.” Interesting. I followed Jared up to a room. We were all behind him. Bella was looking sick, I was wondering what was wrong.

We saw a plump man (well, he was more than plump) with a lab coat on. He had hair on his head, but a bald spot in the middle.

“Oh hey there kiddos, I’m buck. Head researcher and the citadel. Welcome.”

“And head lazy bum,” I heard someone say.

“Anyways, I want to kid you all suited up. Finn, seems like you could use an upgrade. I heard you were the magic portal master. I have prepared a suit just for you.”

“You see, thousands of years ago, there lived a young wizard like you. His name was Will. People just called him “Will the Wizard” though. He had a magical robe that gave him special abilities. He also had a special sword that I want you to check out. It is known as the “Cutlass of Courage”. It gives you many abilities. I want you to try it out. Head into the tube.”

“Thanks sir! You really think I can handle it?” I asked.

“Yes you can, now head on in.” he replied.

I hopped into the tube. Interesting. Then, the door closed shut. A weird triangle thing started spinning around.

“The Forsterite is powered up.” I heard a robotic voice say.

Then, I saw a big flash of purple light. What is that? I was blind!

“HELP!!!!” I screamed.

I couldn’t hear, or see. What had he done to me?

Then, the light started going away. I looked down at me. I was now wearing gloves, and the robe he was talking about. I looked to my right. There was the sword. I was now in some digital world. I picked up the sword, and the capsule opened. Everything was all white with lines, like graph paper. Then, two monsters fell from the ceiling. They started running towards me.

“Challenge One, test of strength.”

What was that? Is this all a game? They started charging towards me now. I ran, and ran, and ran. Time to use my weapon. I leaped back, and surprisingly landed on my feet. I could get used to these robes. I got some special jump boost or something. This was fun. I jumped down on a monster and stabbed him in the back. First one down. Then, he just poofed away! I did the same thing, except this time, when I was flying, this thing went over my head. I grabbed it. It said, “Forsterite ball. Use it well, use it wisely.” I squished it in my hand. Then, purple fire went all around me, and I started floating in the air. Then it happened. The explosion. Then, everything turned black.

CHAPTER 10 - SEASON FINALE


“Hey hey, wake up kiddo.”

Oh great, Buck again.

“Woah, what happened?” I asked.

“You used your inner portal master strength. You used the Foresite ball. It is the strongest thing in all of skylands, except for Traptainium, Giants, Cloudbreak Islands, and yeah. Anyways, you used it. And you used it very well. We thought something like this would happen. That is why we put you in the simulator. Don’t worry son, there are others like you though. I want you to meet Vox, Sona, and Lila.

“Hey dude.” said Vox.
“Ugh, just shut up Vox.” said Sona.
“Guys, calm down. Hello, I am Lila. They call me Lila Life though, because I am the life portal master. This is Vox and Sona. Vox is the Tech portal master and Sona is the undead portal master. Nice to meet you.” said Lila.

Well, Sona looked mean. Vox looked kinda cool. And Lila looked really happy. Well, they were quite a team. And I guess we would be joining them.

“Hi, I am Finn. The Magic portal master. I am still waiting for my to friends, Bella and Andrew. They should be here in a sec.”

“So, you’re the magic portal master, huh. How about you go pull a little bunny out of a hat, kid.” said Vox.

“I told you to shut up Vox!” said Sona.

“YOU DON’T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! AHHHH!” said Vox.

Then, they got up and started fighting each other. Wow, Vox was throwing gears, and Sona had her eyes all glowing red and was floating. They were actually fighting!

“HEY, HEY. STOP FIGHTING.” said Buck. “ I want you to meet our other new recruits, Bella, the Light portal master, and Andrew, who is training to become a fire portal master.”

“Hey guys! I’m Bella.”
“And I’m Andrew.”

“Buck, I don’t wanna work with these little kids, I mean come on.” said Vox.

Now I was starting to have it with Vox. He was really getting on my nerves. Bella was wearing this really cool Light gown. She now had this huge bow and a quiver too. Meanwhile, Andrew now had a tool belt, a flamethrower, and a pair of goggles. He was really going for that whole fire portal master look.

“Ok team, we need to work together. Our first task is to find Aria, the air portal master. While you guys are out doing that, I want Vox and Andrew to help us find Delora. The dark portal master.”

“Oh great, I don’t want to work with this little kid.” said Vox.

“Umm…” said Bella.
“Finn, I need to talk to you privately, like now.”

“Um, what?” I asked.

“Just come with me.” she said. “Um, sir. I will be in the restroom.”

“I will too.” I said.

“Ok, they are around the corner.” Buck said.

We ran down the halls and across the corner. They couldn’t see us here.

“What is it?” I asked.

“Well, ever since we came here, um… you see, I had a sister. Her name was, well, Delora. She was my sister. She just disappeared one day . My mom had told me that she had gone somewhere, where anything was possible, and that I would find out soon. I think she meant this. She knew I would be here.” Bella said.

“So wait, light and dark are sisters?” I asked.
“Yep, I am positive that is her. But if she sees me, she won’t like it. She never liked me. At least, that is what dad said. I never knew her for that long.” she answered.

“So, you are gonna help us find Aria?”

“Yep, and I am gonna have fun doing so!”

We went back to Buck. He told us to hop upon the ship. We had to go hunting. I guess this is our new meeting place now.

“Hey, hey, hey. Wait for me!” Jared said.

Jared hopped aboard the ship. We were ready to go. Our skylanders were loaded up.

“What are your skylanders?” asked Bella.

“Oh, so well, um, mine is Whisper Elf. Daughter of Stealth Elf. She is SUPER CUTE! <3” said Lila. “Oh, and, Sona’s skylander is Hex.”

“Oh, nice.” I said.

Spyro winked at Hex as if they knew something. Interesting.

“Bye kiddos!” said Buck. “Bye Buck!” we said.

“Where is she?”

“We just got her in master”

“Perfect, now all we need is the plan, bring her in.”

“Ugh, let me go! Who are you?” said Delora.

“Do you not recognize me! I AM MALEFOR!” said Malefor.

“I thought you were a dragon?” said Delora.

“I am, but that is in my beast form. You see, when I am in my human form, yes, I sadly look a lot like my son. Kaos. But, I am very disappointed in him. He never became the true villain he could have been. Now, he is after Skylands with a machine that eats clouds. Wimp.”

“Hmmm, so ya wanna work with me, huh? I have contacted the darkness and it wants me to become more evil.”

“I AM EVIL ITSELF! I am the DARKNESS!”

“So you have been speaking to me?”

“Yes, now I can break out. Use your spells!”

“Fine, but I better get credit for this!” she said. “AZARATH METREON ZINTHOS!”

“Thank you darling, let me turn back into my beast form and fly away. I need to deal with something.”

CHAPTER 11 - SEASON FINALE

“Coming aboard to the Cloud Kingdom, she should be saying here. BOOM!” said Flynn.

This place was beautiful. It was filled with clouds everywhere. I saw a huge temple way up high. Far away I could see some weird black stuff going on, huh. We hopped off the boat and on to the ground.

“Woah, sweet!” said Lila.

“Alright, so, we need to go up to the temple, and grab the queen, otherwise known as Aria. Yeah, I guess we are kidnapping, but don’t think of it that way. Someone bad is coming for her, and we need to save her.” said Jared.

We walked up the many stairs until we finally got to the Cloud Kingdom.

“ID please.” said a guard.

“I didn’t want to have to do this.” said Jared, and he zapped them both with a laser.

“OMG YOU KILLED THEM!!!” said Lila.

“No I didn’t, it was a stun ray. Don’t worry.” said Jared. “Now run!”

We started running up the stairs to outside of the palace.

“Ok, Hex, use your x-ray vision.” said Sona. “Guys, there is a way on the right side or whatever. Just hurry up and go in.”

We ran to the right side of the building. I started hearing flapping noises.

“OMG LOOK OUT!” said Lila.

“MWHAHAHAHAN! IT IS I, MALEFOR!” said Malefor.

“RUN!” shouted Jared.

Jared got out Wildfire and started attacking the beast. Lila ran way with Sona already. I guess they were safe. I got out Spyro. I might need him.

“Bella, hide!” I whispered.

“Bella, as in the LIGHT PORTAL MASTER!” Malefor said as his eyes lit up. He looked around for her and started swooping in.

“Hey you big fat dragon, you aren’t getting her until you get through-”

He kicked me with his giant feet and grabbed Bella! Oh no! What do I do?

“Good thing I always bring one of these with me.” Jared said. “Now run back down there, the pocket escape pod only fits one person, I am gonna use it to fly over to Malefor and get her back.”

I watched him fly off to go and get her. But there was no way I was going to risk never seeing her again. Ever. I hopped on Spyro.

“Let’s go boy, time for your big day.”

We blasted off. We flew through rocks and clouds, and were soaring through the skies. I could see him. There was Jared and Malefor.

“Hey dragon, you don’t get rid of me that easily!” I shouted.

“FINN?!” screamed Jared.

Spyro started shooting fireballs. I was about to risk it. These wizard robes better work! I hopped off Spyro in mid air. I was floating! Perfect!

“Hey Malefor, look here!” I shouted.

I stabbed him in the nose. Perfect!

“ROAAAAR!”

He started shooting fire balls all around me. I had to get rid of him, fast. I saw it. The Foresite. In Jared’s pocket. I had to be quick. I reached over and grabbed it from Jared’s pocket.

“Jared! I am about to use it! Grab Bella quickly and fly away now!”

I distracted Malefor as he took Bella. Malefor started to flap over to them. Time to use it.

The last thing I saw was a giant white explosion...
