UK doesn't really have waves, we have all the stuff USA has including things before them such as legendary dejavu.

We just get stuff when we get it,

Heads up for anyone who doesn't know.

Tesco are running a Clubcard Boost promotion, where you can double the value of any Clubcard points you have. And this year (for the first time?) it applies to Skylanders!

Also, it's only 28 days since the launch in the UK. So if you have any figures still MiP, and you kept the receipt, you can return them for a full refund. Then you can re-buy them using the points coupons at, effectively, half price!

I've just saved tens of pounds doing just that - glad I didn't open all the figures as soon as I got them!

I did this with figures last year, got a few Swap Force ones I had a load of vouchers saved up.

Only had a little bit this time, I assumed everybody would know!

"The fourth figure in the Eon’s Elite series soon to be released will be Eon’s Elite Whirlwind, high resolution images have surfaced on Amazon.co.uk and I presume the Skylanders site will be updated with the info.

Amazon.co.uk have both Trigger Happy and Whirlwind down to be released on the 28th November - which also could result in a pattern of the remainding figures being released in pairs."

It was the 14/11/14, but this has been changed.

It has been available instore for a few weeks and it seems they have plenty of stock.

Depending on when the Kaos Trap is online I might go get it in store along with Wallop and Gearshift. If the Kaos Trap well stocked?

Any ideas when the Legendary Traps are out from Toys r us?

Nothing to say they will be coming unfortunately. I've had someone report to me that toys r us said they won't be getting them. But that can always change.

Eh, I never trust TRU employees or even their head office. They've been wrong so many times before about their own stock.

This is reply someone sent me from a message between them and toys r us UK via facebook.

"I have been advised that this is a US only project - we have no information of an exclusive comic in the UK/Europe. There is a Skylanders comic to launch soon In the UK, but no trap promo that we're aware of."

So that could mean either we won't be getting the legendary traps, or just the UK toys r us doesn't know about it yet (which is more than likely). I'll be contacting IDW tomorrow to see if I can find out anything else from them.

It'll be a shame if they don't appear in this country. At least you can order them in from the US toys r us site and pay postage.

I went "hunting" yesterday for the first time since Trap Team came out. Toys R Us and Smyths were the best for stocking traps, however I only purchased a Gearshift from Smyths.

The guy at the game counter in Smyths told me that they got 3 cases of the Kaos trap in on Friday morning, but they were gone less than 20 minutes after opening. He said people were taking them 4 or 5 at a time.

I was in Asda as well and the woman in the Entertainment area told me I'd missed their exclusive. When I got home I found out she was probably talking about Nitro Krypt King.
What's the story with this? I thought Nitro was a Target/Tesco exclusive sub-line?

Yes last year it was a Tesco exclusive, but this year they have the buddy packs (Gill grunt and Gill runt) and Asda have the nitros.

Nitro Krpyt King is still available on the Asda direct website

See, stories like that with the Kaos trap aggravate me because they are only being bought to be sold. They should restrict people to two maximum.

Have any of the new traps come out yet, and has there been any news on new figures yet?

Went to GAME to pick up my Pre-Ordered Winterfest Lob-Star, only to be told it's not out until Monday. Yet they were still showing the Pre-Order date of the 29th.

Still I was able to pick up the last 3 Core-Landers I needed on the 3 for 2, and also picked up a Jade Fire Kraken for £3.75. It was price-marked as £7.49 with a sticker saying "50% off (Deducted at till)". Of course the price was meant to be £14.99, but as they'd not removed an old discounted price sticker, it was a score for me.

Well I went to GAME today to pick up the Winter Lob Star I had pre-ordered, only to be told that they hadn't got any in.

Amazon have the release set as 10th December, maybe Smyths got it wrong?
