I've seen this covered in various threads, but I can't seem to find it now. Can anyone tell me the case ratio breakdown for each wave in trap team? I am trying to figure out which traps are rarer than the others...

I know the trap count for wave 1 and 2 was posted somewhere on here, but I can't find it. I do remember that the magic hourglass and water axe were among the rarest, with only 1 in each case. I still can't find them, so I'm starting to doubt their existence

One of the rarest traps right now is the standard Kaos trap. Still not sure how that was released (some say stores received boxes with just Kaos traps). At Toysrus on release day I was the only one of two people there when they opened. Looked at all the pegs with traps and found no Kaos traps. The other person there for Trap Team just bought the two multi pack traps.

I did find a Kaos trap on release date at Target (only saw one). Then again at a different Target the next day (again only saw one). Since it has it's own SKU, I had the guy at the first Target scan it to see how many they had in stock. They hadn't even put anything other than Starter Packs out, so I was the first customer buying Traps and figures. He said they had received two of them out of their entire stock. Seems like Kaos traps were packed in cases of regular traps similar to chase/rare figures, at least at Target.

EDIT: Not as rare as I though lol...

Kaos trap is its own case, 24 per case.

Weird that a case of Kaos traps wasn't listed on Dark's list of Wave 1 and 2 breakdown. Everything else was accurate.

Not rare at all around here!! Everywhere here has them but a lot of store had case of 24 split up and sent to different stores.. I won't pay more than a dollar per trap after TRU spoiled me, so not buyin..

I was at TRU when they put them out on launch day. One whole case of just Kaos traps, even said Kaos trap, case pack of 24 on the side of it.
I'm pretty sure that the case pack of it aren't exclusive to TRU.
So that's how other stores should be receiving them in also.

That sounds like what target probably did.
Hence why they only had a few in stock on launch day.

I'm referring to other stores of the same name, example, target got 2 launch day at each target around here!

No surprise my Toys R Us probably had a case but didn't put it out. They had my son and I waiting for 40 minutes at launch while they looked for Legendary Jawbreaker, Gearshift (had pre-ordered) and the tablet starter pack.

Had I known about the Kaos trap case I would have made them look for it as well! At least they inadvertently made up for it by having Wave 2 traps out at launch. We had plenty of time to search and find the one of each while they had us waiting.

I haven't seen any standard Kaos Traps anywhere around here...also skylander_chaos don't double post....click the edit tab next to the report tab....don't want you getting in trouble with Dark52, bionicle2809 or Matteomax. And im not attacking/flamin' you im only sayin' this because i have seen you double post on many different threads. Your new here and don't want you getting in trouble.

No prob...altho it takes some time to piss Dark52 off....its still not recommended.
Tried looking around again last night after work....still can't find the Standard Kaos Trap....hope they ship out more, would realy like to get one. Although i do have the Ultimate Kaos Trap, still want the complete collection.

Let me see if I can round a few up!! I would have to charge shipping on top of the $7 for trap

I found a nice number of Kaos traps @ TRU in Buena Park, near Knott's. But my problem is what good is it when I already have everything that's out already and nothing new isn't out. Hell, Hulk for Infinity 2.0 just came out because Sony's exclusive rights to the figure ends tomorrow.
Then next Tuesday, the next batch of Infinity 2.0 shows up.
But I noticed, like everyone else, that more and more Wave 1 traps are being put out instead of Wave 2.

Managed to find a Life toucan today, only to realize shortly thereafter that it will be included in the 8-pack that is now exclusive to Target. *grumble* Guess I can always take it back and swap it with another if I don't care for any repeats.

The standard edition doesn't come with a Kaos trap then? Is the single pack Kaos trap the same one that comes with the Dark edition?

the standard edition does not include a Kaos Trap.
The Dark edition has the "Ultimate Kaos Trap" which is larger and has silver detailing on Kaos' Face, whilst the Single Kaos Trap is smaller, and plain black.
They both function the same in the game, but they register separately in the collections menu.

I totally dig this 8-trap pack. I have been avoiding duplicates that are in this pack, specifically. Life Tocan, Magic Axe, Life Torch, Air Screamer, Undead Hand... all hardish for me to find otherwise.

The WalMart on also had the little blurb on the packaging about Steamed Broccoli Guy.
