Skylanders: 4 Players, lol. Seriously, how about the Super Force Skylanders? If you didn't see it already, my post on the Super Force is on page 2.

I am thinking 'skylanders: age of extinction' here is the plot: Kaos uses a time machine to free dinosaurs. However, 8 (1 for each element) are not evil! there will be 16 core's and 12 varients/lightcore. 4 dinosaur's will be light core the other 4 will be varient.

Swap force was originally going to be multiple pieces, but they came across some issues. The arms/heads were really small, and risked being too small for safety reasons and their focus group didn't understand that a complete character had to have all 5 parts (a base, torso, head and 2 arms) connected at once.

They decided on 2 parts because the parts wouldn't be too small, and it was much easier to explain to kids because the parts that went together were obvious.

Skylanders: Tag teams!

Kind of like swap force, you can swap a rider and the mount. For example: a robot cowboy on a mechanical bull could swap with a water dude on a polar bear and have a robot on a polar bear! The animal and rider could have their own attacks.

Skylanders: Racing. Swappable tops and bottoms. Bottom part are vehicles.

I know some of what is gonna be in it but cant talk about it. Just gonna say its something completely different from the other games and i cant wait for it even tho swap force just came out.

How about shifters? They could have pulls on them to become new skylanders.

we could have a wole new trilogy with no reaposes and all new figures eg 7 core 1 giant 2 swappers 2 lightcore OR we could have a game with no new figures at all but all of the old figures will work

also when the new game comes out then there should be double jumping tat everyone can do

I agree with double jumping. I'd also like to see the ability for characters to attack while jumping bought back.

I was thinking skylanders: type shifters, the figures change colors in the light and in the dark in real life, and in the game they change when they walk into a lighter or darker room

My idea is for the toy SKUs as opposed to the game, but I’ll post it here anyway…

Activision is in a tough spot at the moment… as a developer you don’t want to spend hours programing and bug testing characters that most of your audience will never have a chance to experience (like everyone who missed out on buying Boomer), and at the same the huge numbers series 2/3 characters are starting to bum out even the most hardcore fan.

The answer – no more Series 2/3 characters, and instead introduce a new line that sells the old characters in a new package: Skylanders Legacy.
Basically, the ‘Legacy’ line should have its own branding and be produced in very low numbers. The packaging should clearly outline which games each figure works with and would include vanilla figures only - no legendries, lightcores or variants.
I would expect them to be (slightly) cheaper than figures of the current range, and could include four packs, or other special value packs (like two figures and a spell item).
Perhaps give the figures their own base colour to differentiate them from the ‘real’ figures.

This would achieve the following:
* Backwards compatibility support in future titles would make more financial sense for the developers – as supporting those characters can drive sales of the Legacy line.
* Fans would feel less pressure to by endless remakes of characters.
* Would make characters that sold poorly (like Boomer and Voodood) available again, without the expense of a repose.

I like the idea some have had with the time travel concept - Kaos travels back in time to prevent Skylanders from becoming the Skylanders that interfere with his plots. With the altered timelines we could see some of the favorite NPCs get a chance at becoming Skylanders along the way. The creation of the Mabu Defense Force can be built on as well.

I would love to see something more with the Wilikin storyline. IMO, that subplot from GIANTs was creepy good and needs more development. Kaos and his mother try to take them back in their control as a form of zombie army to take control of Skylands. Switching between the two worlds to collect/defeat enemies. New Skylanders are from the Wilikin Sleepworld. Or better yet, Skylanders who are capable of going between worlds.

Another idea, Skylanders Academy. This could be part of the next game to build up character levels or a completely separate game. In a separate game, Kaos figures out he can stop the Skylanders by destroying their recruitment process (maybe in conjunction with time travel storyline). New and old Skylanders could be used in the game

Skylanders - Masters Of Customisation

No specials (draw a design on a new portal to create your own!!)

plot - Kaos uses a new ability gained by a new disease called ink-e-sia, letting him draw anything to do his bidding!! He failed once and a massive explosion occurred on earth, giving the portal masters ink-e-sia! but Kaos has sucked all colour from skylands, so once you complete level 1, you'll unlock a locations colour back!! the last levels boss will be the ink-e-sia itself!! Kaos will be destroyed in the fourth-to-last level as there is getting to ink-e-sia and defeating him pt1 and pt2. the maps will be more interactive as you can throw, detonate, launch, deploy and light things on fire!!

the portal will look like a piece of paper as you draw on one. there will be a section for putting a skylander on -s1, s2 ,3- and the drawing pad!! once you click 'create' on the drawing pad, it'll give you the options spyro's adventure, giants or swap force!! the more scrap books you collect the more skylanders can be created!!

I'm not sure, but I have been thinking about the future of swappers.

So, Skylanders 4 will have 8 new swappers, one for each element and move type, but the move type will be different from the other two (i.e. a new Tech swapper wouldn't be climb or speed.)

I've only thought of one though, I could use some help coming up with others.

I don't really know what you mean as I haven't played her yet but I think that you missed the part about characters. All of them should be able to attack while jumping imo- it was in the first two games, which didn't even have free jumping. It baffles me how it wasn't in SF (were they strapped for time to animate attacks mid jump?) and I really miss this feature. It was fun just jumping around and attacking while jumping. Also, since we now have free jumping I feel like this could change the dynamic a bit more and let you kind of avoid and attack at the same time(it's hard to explain, but I think that 3DSSA gives off that feeling- it can make action more based around skill, really, though I also think they seriously have to tune up the enemy balance and AI in that case... In fact they ought to do that for Hard and Nightmare anyway >.>).

By the way, I have an idea for an undead dig. Grave Robber, he's has a digging bottom half, and a little bag of money that he hits enemies with

How about team battle mode? If there are 4 players, there could be 2 Skylanders on a side.

I'd like a game where nothing was really new except two corelanders from each element. That's not going to happen though, sad, we could save money from it being just corelanders.

i have a guess: Kaos goes back in time and prevents the skylanders from beating him in skylanders giants. with this accomplished, he returns to the future (along with the past kaos) to find out that the skylanders have changed- S2 giants, S2 swappers, and the new skylanders along with core, and returning. and old enemies return such as arkean bomber and all that stuff.
example: life: stink bomb, tree-rex,new main character, and 2 returning such as camo, and shroomie. i would think of it like robo-kaos and a new form of kaos working together at the same time. skylanders legacy i guess. not to copy off of tel prydain.

Personally, in future releases I would prefer more returning characters to be LC than new ones.

Call it OCD or whatever you will, but I'd like it if eventually every character were to be at the same series # rather than some characters being series 3, some only at 2, and some stuck at 1 never getting re-releases. I view LC releases as a non-series release, a one time occurance for a character.

It's be nice if those flagship characters that always get a re-release could be released as LCs only instead of getting a new series for one game to allow some of the other characters to try and catch up in series #. Wham-Shell is a missed opportunity, yes, as it only had a Series 1, though had they put Gil Grunt as the Water LC and given Wham Shell a S2 instead, I'd have been thrilled.

A smimilar could be said for other elements where a new character got the LC spot such as with Undead. It was ncie that Chop Chop and Cynder got reposes, but I'd have rather than Cynder got the LC instead of Grim Creeper allowing Fright Rider or possibly Ghost Roaster to receive an S2 release.

Or ,again, Skylanders: the final stand

PLOT: Kaos tries to launch the final attack by summoning a space armada! The Skylanders are given special Keys to unlock powers greater than great, better than best!
However, Kaos has used some of the foot-soldiers to give him great powers!!

Info: the portal will be the same as the spyro's adventure. the skylanders (s1 s2 s3 s4 with a base (not green orange or blue) will have a key socket to insert the key and unlock the power.

My idea

Plot:
Sometime after SWAP Force, Kaos and Vathek resurrect the Undead Dragon, Malefor, in an attempt to usehis powers for evil. However, during a battle with eight Skylanders (Spyro, Gill Grunt, Ignitor, Boomer, Hex, Punk Shock, and Cynder) caused Kaos to lose his control over the evil dragon resulting in him uprising against the evil portal master.

Now that they have a common enemy, The Skylanders must team up with Kaos and Vathek( and a few other characters along the way) to stop Malefor from unleashing the undead throughout Skylands.

I was thinking about an idea for the special characters. I haven't read the whole thread, so don't know if it's been thought of before, but I'm thinking some elementally redesigned familiar characters would be cool.

So Giants had Giants and Swap Force has the swappers. For my idea I'm thinking they make around 8-16 elementally swapped characters, like a fire version of Gill Grunt (Gill Griller?), or an undead version of Drobot (Dreadbot?). The possibilities are endless and I think it could be pretty cool. I think it's a more simple idea than swappable figures, but really cool imo.
