Liking Swap Force? Do the skylanders still suck because you can't upgrade their speed stats without a hat? Or did they make a compromise of sorts?

Haven't seen you around and wanted to hear your opinion.

Not quite sure why this warrants a public thread; surely you could ask him via private message what his opinion is or wait for him to post here? It's not like he's the ultimate authority on Skylanders, either; plenty of other people with opinions just as valid.

I question 99% of the threads here, why can't I be part of the majority? Also, he's been missing and I want to see his critical view.

Yeah, a lot of the theards about here are... Well, let's just say the intelligent discussion is undervalued.

Surely if you question 99% of the threads, you'd want to be part of the MINORITY and try and set a good example? Likewise with intelligent discussion. I'm sure both could be achieved if people really wanted to put their minds to it.

Typing up a post with multiple paragraphs and checking it takes quite a while. Trust me, I try, but I don't dedicate all my time just to posting about Skylanders so I prefer spending more time when I make long posts so that they feel worthwhile. I don't see that many posts like that, and when they do appear they fade into obscurity.

There have been asks for more opinions, there were two "user review" threads and hardly any posts in either.

Though, I haven't seen 78 around much either(he hasn't even updated his collection thread?), I guess he's just busy. But I'm curious to hear his opinion, even though I know I will disagree with many parts of it.

gamemaster78 is working at the hobby lobby distribution here in okc and probably hasnt had time to stop and get on the forms. i will give him a call and see if and when he plans to update his collection. before when he was on all the time he wasnt working.

I've been around, but been too busy getting the Skylanders, as well as working, to post. That, and being single sucks, so I've been a bit depressed about being single.

I'm still taking a look at the landers, but I've noticed my Eye Brawl moves just as fast as he did in Giants (he has maxed Speed Heroics in Giants), in Swap Force. That's without a hat as well.

So, they weren't really lying when they said they would move just as fast. I'm still playing with it.

I do love the variety in the levels. In the first level alone, I was going through Swap Zones, platforming in the water/fire elemental zone, and then playing a shooting game in the air elemental zone. Gotta give it to them on the variety in each level I've played so far (only 3 levels and they are quite longer).

I have taken pics of the stuff I bought. I will probably upload it to my collection topic, before updating the topic with what my walls look like at the moment. My 4th (and final) wall is done up with Swap Force, but it still needs work. Still undecided if I want to build a shelf to display one of every open figure, or hang the packages up there and display those. I will show everyone what the wall looks like so far, today or sometime this week.

I like Swap Force. I miss the darker tone of Giants, and outside of the title screen music in Swap Force, I haven't heard any music that sounds as dark and ominous - but really awesome - as Drill-X Big Rig. That is simply the best music in any Skylanders game thus far.

What Derek here said is correct. I work at the Hobby Lobby Distribution Center here in OKC. Pays good (14 bucks an hour). I work from 5 am until the job's done. So, I've been tired through the week, but it's only because I am getting used to the hours. Once I am used to it, it won't be so taxing. Another reason I need to hurry and sell my movies. Hours will be better, lol.

But again, an update to my collection will come either later today, or sometime this week.

GM78, great to hear your opinion has gone slightly northward. I'm specifically wondering about your platform and if you've seen any showstopper bugs like the ones posted here (losing stars, freezing screens, etc). I personally like the darker tones as well so that sounds like a bummer.

I don't think its a mindless post GhostRoaster. There are people on here that I follow to see what they got to add to their collections, like you, defpally and GameMaster78, BahamutBreaker and RumpleLover.

I was wondering how he had made out this past week too to be honest.

No bugs in any version I've played so far, which is the Wii U and 360 versions. I never plan on opening the Wii version. I haven't messed with my PS3 version yet, but my neighbor is playing it on that, and he hasn't mentioned issues at all.

Made out quite good. 4 of everything so far. 5 Dark Starters, 3 3DS, 3 normal starters. I took pics of my day 1 haul. I will be updating my collection topic shortly. Thanks for always keeping tabs on me. I'd like to think I am doing this for something. If others enjoy seeing it, it makes my collecting worthwhile.

What do your kids not know SWAP Force even exists? Or are you just not letting them know you giving them to them for Christmas? Or are you not giving them at Christmas or some other date? Just wonderin'.

Ignore everything that isn't bold, I didn't feel like snipping it out because it takes forever on the iPad. Anyways, why are you single breakup, haven't been in the dating stores because of skylanders, etc.?

Lol, actually I don't mind talking about it. Last girl was downright mean and used me. Lied to me about one of the worst things a guy can be lied to about, and I don't mean cheating.

Single because I really have no friends to go out with. One is basically a hermit who only loves to play his online games. Another is always hitting up a website devoted to flings... if you know what I mean. I am looking for a long term relationship. I am slowly trying to rebuild my friends, but since I was in a relationship for a long time, I generally focused on that, instead of making new friends. Might have been a big no-no.

My wall is just temporary. I am still thinking if I should build a shelf and not display figures in packaging, or display packaging.

Been there myself, had alot of friends met my wife and sort of lost touch with most of them. It does indeed suck and I do wonder what i'll have if god forbit she were to die or we failed at our marriage. I'm slowly starting to try to reconnect with others cause I dont want to be in the boat anymore.

As for girls, there are many fish in the sea and you never know where you will find someone. Just have hope

That's a pretty brave statement and I applaud you for it. I'm just coming to the end of a divorce (getting near to signing papers after a mandatory two year separation). It does suck, real bad.
I'm in a relationship with a nice girl now, but I wonder if I might have rushed into the relationship too soon - it might have been a better idea to spend sometime alone and get myself together before jumping into a new thing (and lord knows that I'm carrying a lot of extra baggage now).

Anyhow, good luck - and I look forward to seeing your collection.

Thanks. Yeah, I've been single since August 30th, 2012. So, I've been single over a year now. I got really bummed during it all. My ex moved out March of this year, so I've been living alone ever since.

I've had plenty of time to think about it. I at one time refused to even try to get another girl. However, my mind changed, and now I'm ready. Just hoping everyday for something to magically fall in my lap.
