I got 2 answers from TRU as usual. The first lady I talked to didn't know what I was talkin about. Then I called back and a guy picked up, I read him the email and he said they didn't get anything yet but yet have a truck coming in the morning so he said they might be on that. I'll find out when I go tomorrow.

My TRU here in central VA allowed me to purchased any of Wave 2 I wanted this morning (Tuesday, 15th). The employees brought the boxes out and unboxed. I bought the 4 swappables for my friend's grandson (Boom Jet, Fire Kraken, Night Shift, and Grilla Drilla,) and my friend purchased Scorp and RipTide.

They had them out tonight!!

I called and they will have them tomorrow...Sad thing is I have to work in the morning

Our camera is so shaky but we had to watch back our Hunting video of it just to make sure, they probably have it, just not out though.

Got all the swappers I needed this morning. It was a madhouse at the Toys R Us I went to, people almost ran over a lady with a stroller.

It didn't look like they had very many Fire Krakens. Hopefully everyone gets what they wanted today... without trampling people.

Well thanks to this site always giving me great info i was able to get the 6 totally new characters today, i was there along with 3 other dads....thats it, once again my toys r us had plenty, i hope it stays this way.

First in line at mine local TRU surprisingly. Hopefully they have them out and ready. They didn't have a clue about what I was talking about yesterday or so thy claimed.

We got all the W2 corelanders and swaplanders this morning, when the guy rang them up if totalled quite a bit less than I expected. Looking at my receipt afterward only one of the 4 new swaplanders rang up at 16.99, the other 3 were charged at $10.99 before the bogo 40% off. I don't know how that happened maybe the guy scanned the corelanders twice instead of the swappers? But getting two swappers for $6.59 and one for $10.99 works for me!

I went to my TRU a little while ago, they had no wave 2 and no boxes or any sort of idea about what I was asking for. Typical TRU. Just my luck.

That's not highly unusual, he should have been bagging them as he scanned them, but I can see getting distracted and scanning one twice if he lost track of what he just scanned. After all in many cases we have people ringing up 6-12 figures. It's weird he mixed up different item sizes though.

I had some trouble with this at Walmart last year, I was buying four different figures and the cashier just scanned the same one four times. It was a little of a pain when I had to return one of the ones she didn't scan. It ended up working out ok when the return lady noticed the four items had the same code.

This was the first test of my "Don't have to collect them all" mantra for SSF. I did not buy the regular Star Strike since I already have the superior LC version, I also passed on the S3s but did buy S2 Sprocket since she is superior to her S1.

My wife and I had to go to 2 TRU stores since the first didn't have them. At the first store, it was us and another guy looking for wave 2 figures. At the other store, it was just us, but I don't know if people were there before me. Regardless, I got all the ones I wanted.

My tru didn't know about it either and didn't have them out. I was there with a very persistent mother who had the email in her phone and knew the right guy to ask. He went in the back and brought them out and the mom and I were able to help ourselves right out of the boxes. We high-fived on our way out of the store!

I wish they had the double and triple packs though...could have saved a little more that way.

Got stuck at work, didn't get to go until around lunch time. All they had left after a BUNCH of digging was a Boom Jet, Grilla Drilla, a Scorp, and a Riptide. Of course Mr. Fire Kraken was gone :sad: and Night Shift too.

I'm not worried about any reposes except Twin Blade Chop Chop.

I went to TRU this morning and it was only me and one other guy. I was surprised as I thought there would be a lot more. We walked in and they didn't have any new stuff out. Luckily he had the email on his phone and showed two of the workers. They went in the back and brought them out and both of us were able to get everything we wanted. They got 3 boxes of swappers and 2 boxes of the regulars.

Got one of each at my local TRU this morning. They had some hanging up on pegs and a whole table full of the core landers. I would say 10 of each. Needless to say there wasn't an issue getting what I wanted. Only 2 or three people were there to get them too.

I got all 12 too. I was the only one there this morning to purchase. I thought it was odd, but doesn't seem skylanders swap is selling as fast. My TRU is loaded.

If it was like past Hot Toy Alerts, the next time you'll be able to get this is general release everywhere, which may take a number of weeks.

Did anyone who got Star Strike have some kind of fabric looking pattern on her cloak?

Ugh, no sign of them here in Canada, as expected.

Why is the LC Star Strike superior to the "regular one?", just based on looks or abilities?

LC star strike has light bomb like all LCs. Also her eyes light up ingame too. In terms abilities, they are both the same.
To me, regular one has better/more dynamic figure pose though.

TRU in Everett, Wa had it out on it's own little table. Scored all 4 of the swappers and got scorp and twin blade chop chop. Based on the new wow-pow description, he's not dual wielding all the time, which I was naive enough to believe. Wishing I would have grabbed rip tide instead, especially after seeing his soul gem preview, but oh well. He'll be out en masse soon enough.

I am just wondering is their any difference in price range with swap force characters what i mean is are swappable characters the same price as the giants,series 3 the same price as series 2,swap force lightcore the same price as giants lightcore and finaly swap force core the same price as giant core if you know what i mean.

unfortunatly it will probably be hard to know as i live in the uk.I was just being curious that was all as i just wanted a rough guess on how much i will pay and wondered if they had gone up a little in price.

It'd be nice if what came out today wasn't just a preliminary run though :/

Got ALL of them today! Only 2 boxes of Swappers and 1 box of others and I got 1 of each newbie Wave 2.
