Ok. I played the first level and was highly impressed with the details and smoothness. Just not feeling the X button as the jump where it was the attack button for the last two games. PS3 by the way. I hate that kind of change.

Now on topic. Tell me I'm not the only one who is loving Tessa! She is so cute! I would love to have a figure of her. Too bad she's not a skylander.

Anyone got a favorite character? Skylander or NPC. Be careful of spoilers. No need to ruin the game.

Absolutely love Tessa compared to Flynn or Cali - much better looking character and much better personality.

I just finished doing seven videos for a Let's Play series where I talk about that almost right at the beginning of the first video.

I've been having a blast playing as Grim Creeper, Star Strike, and Zoo Lou. I often find myself looking at them instead of the Swaplanders when I need a new character.

I also like Tessa. Not missing Cali, I always thought she was kinda irritating. I really wish they would make figures of some of the NPCs. They could be sidekicks or something. Much as I love a lot of the Skylanders, Flynn is my favorite character. He's just hilarious, and if they ever get someone other than Patrick Warburton to be his voice I will be soooo disappointed.

I'm really liking Hoot Loop and Zou Lou, but really all the new guys have been great.

Tessa is serious about doing things and Flynn just says "your hair smells like strawberries!" It's really funny. When I go to grab a character I usually grab Roller Brawl, Grim Creeper or Free Ranger

Haven't developed a favorite NPC yet, but my top Skylanders so far are Grim Creeper and Pop Thorn. Just love the combat on GC. He's so aggressive looking with that scythe. PT is bit of a surprise for me. The whole lead up to launch, I was fearing he'd be similar to Wrecking Ball (sorry WB fans! ). Loving the little thorns and puffing action. Plus he has the whole cuteness factor going for him. Can't overlook that.

I haven't played all the ones I got yet but i'm really finding I like star strike! my hubby actually started playing and seems to love countdown.

Between the looks, the attacks, and overall attitude... I love her.

I'm really falling for Pop Thorn also...super cute, but super effective at range damage.

I really want to like Zoo Lou, but I need to level him up a bit...but he seems cool.

I'm actually disappointed with the SWAP characters so far. They should pan out a bit as I level them up and find 'the right combination', but the wave 1 swaps haven't 'pulled' me in'.

Honestly, I've grown to love this new stealth elf. I never owned one before and she is pretty darn cool! Rattle Shake is also a big favorite of mine.

Outside of looks, he feels much different. Granted, I haven't leveled him all the way to the top. His two basic attacks are a homing thorn attack and a cloud shooting thingy. The horn attack reminds me of Drill Sergeant's homing missiles or even his auto cannon. You hit it and it shoots out a bunch of thorns which seek out a nearby enemy. The cloud attack is similar to something like Sunburns' flame attack. Instead of fire, it's clouds.

I'm feeling the same way so far. Found myself playing the core characters much more than the swappers. I figure the idea of trying something new hasn't quite sunk in yet. Still in "normal mode".

My daughter adores Tessa (She's soooo cute!) and we played the first left switching between RollerBrawl, Smolderdash and Star Strike.

Pop Thorn has been my favorite so far. I call him my little puff ball of murder and doom!

My wife is in love with Star Strike. She got her up to level 10 just yesterday.

I must admit, Tessa is the cutest female NPC in the game series. Also, she is the first one to have hair unlike Cali. Too bad there is no figure version of her.

She's cuter than the little Wilikin girls? Lol, probably (and she probably doesn't haunt your nightmares in the same way that that Wilikin Girl's Ghost does :P). She seemed kinda annoying in the demo, but I imagine I'll become a fan once I get the game.
Haven't bought any Swap-Force-figs yet, but window-shopping, GC (might not get him... other residents of my house dislike the whole skull-on-a-pedestal thing,, but hopefully I can manipulate them into not lecturing me over it) and Smolderdash will probably become instant favorites of mine.
