I'm not talking about Universe.. As far as I heard, people hacked into the console discs and found code for - I think - 99 different Skylanders, and all 99 were identified at that time.

Ehh....not bad....I would have to fix it tho, the mouth is ok... but the house for a nose/eye WOULD HAVE TO GO! Would have to add some accents of my pearl orange. and most definitely put a real pumkin face on the eye.....maybe one big eye over that jagged mouth?

Thats only if its a in-world varient for Swap Force.....that i would go to the trouble in getting one. (i'd make my own....transparent orange can make that white frosted ball orange)

It's not going to be like that I am sure. I saw the same pic in a thumbnail on ebay that claimed that they were not sure if that was what is coming out.

Trixster68---If it turns out not to be real I would be very surprised based on her history. But I don't love the way it looks--especially the eyes--so if it looks different Ill be happy--but again--I bet this is the right figure. I bet it'll look better lit up on the portal. fingers crossed---

LOL---Well---initially I thought that the purple one was fake cause I naively thought giants were done....NOT
But the others I believed. It's too bad. I like them and all but ugh, Ill have to change around Swap Force plans...or hmmm...not sure what we will do. Wait and see.

It is a full triangle. Look at it closely, the cut out part is the pupil, a fairly common way to do jack-o-lanterns. Obviously he only has one eye. If I had done it, I would have also put faint vertical lines around it to make it look a bit more like a pumpkin.

And he should be call "Jack O' Brawl". Or at least "Jack-o-lantern Eye Brawl".

I did actually. It's how we knew pretty early on that the Platinum Treasure Chest didn't count as a separate item in Giants: there was no file for it. And given the RFID chips can't add that kinda data to the game, it's looking to be a flat out Swap Force variant instead.

I would be surprised if this was an in game variant for swap force, because almost all the in game variants have looked good.

Seriously, this figure has very little detail, the body is all black and there are only two colours on the head, if that pic is real this stinks of chase variant IMO.

Actually I hope it is an in game variant in swap force, along with all the other chase figures, that would be really cool - but unlikely as it takes away flexibility to make employee Prism Break et al.

I preordered this from sears and if that's the final image for it i'll probably cancel my pre order. the eye is very unsettling and they couldn't do a detailed jack o lantern instead? this one kind of sucks.

Tigerdr...I think the face looks funny too. I am wondering if it looks better lit up? If there is a reason its like it is and when its on portal we will understand?

We went to gamestop today to trade in some games for credit. Finally have wnough credit to pay for disney and the figures he wanted, 2 reserved dark swap collectors packd, and a mario and luigi 3ds game. Now we have to start building up credit again for swap. Question...will gamestop have the figurea for wave 1 or will I need to get those at TRU?

That's nothing. Legit 'landers on Taobao are be over 500% most of the time. Triple packs are better, being only 200-400% normal price.

No, But I trust my fellow forum denizens. I've read several times from reliable people that several people have checked the files on the game disc a long time ago to see what and how many characters the game knows about. And the number 99 sticks in my memory, because if I was someone who worked on Skylanders, my OCD tendencies would REQUIRE just one more in-game variant, stopping at 99 seems silly.

Gamestop is usually okay at getting stuff in. I was able to find all the regular guys at my local wal-mart on launch night of Giants.

I was thinking about going to TRU first...target...gamestop. I thought that maybe there would be special figures available at different retailers. But I'd prefer to buy all at one store. I have asked this before but never sure we had a confirmed answer--just speculation--what figures/packages are being released day 1?

I think last year as it got closer and stores got boxes in we were able to figure out what was released on Day 1. The problem was Acti pulled a fast one and released wave 2 a few days later.

I remember that....but I didnt realize they were two different waves I just thought it was late shipment or I missed something. .lol

Out of curiosity, are case breakdowns the same? I know do some companies do random assortments vs. a set number of each character. I ask this because I've gone to stores and suddenly see a wave of say 10 Slam Bams where sometimes you'd be lucky to find 1.

I just got my Sears Email it states my order in being processed and it will be shipped out soon. Once my item which is Pumpkin Eye Brawl ships my tracking number and shipment information will be sent to me. It states that my pumpkin will arrive to my house by Sept 3rd. I can't wait... Anyone else get some good news yet?

I got my order confirmation early today as well and my credit card has already been charged.

He's not exclusive to any one retailer. Should be at most major retailers.

you can still preorder pumkin eye brawl at cduniverse.com. Not sure if its worth it or not, but I would hate to miss an in game variant and have to pay through the nose on ebay for it like i did with granite crusher

Check again shelly. I just got an email yesterday saying to expect it on 9/3.

I got the same result as Shelly (since I'd kept forgetting to go ahead and preorder) when I tried to check out with it in my cart. It kept giving a notice that it would be available 9/3, but I believe they've allowed as many preorders as they're going to. Also, it showed that while it was being sold through Sears, it was going to be fulfilled by another party, so I believe the Sears/K-Mart preorders may have been part of their "marketplace" versus actually through them.

However, I was still able to preorder through CDUniverse.com, so all is well with the world again. :-D
