Tempted to purchase cases of the first three as I'd imagine I'd get at least every single wave 1 figure then I can sell off the rest at cost.

Single character packs are the Singe Core Character Case, and the single Swap Force Character packs are the Swap Force Character Case, the LightCore Character Case is the single LightCore character pack, and etc.

What would they have a picture of? A box? Just a single character?

They sell single cases for every other game. Do they have images? NO.

Let me spell it out for some of the slower folks out there.

Entertainment Earth is selling cases of Skylanders Swap Force Characters for PRE-ORDER. I'm merely giving links to the pages for those pre-orders. Why do you need pictures to imagine what a sealed case would look like?

Do the cases break down to wholesale prices?

No. They are slightly more expensive. They break-down to:

S3/Newlander - $11.00 per figure
Swap Force Figures - $17.75
Lightcores - $14.33
3-Pack - $27.67 each

Certainly not a bargain but I'd be willing to pay that small premium to not have to bother with hunting for them. Since it's a case I assume you have the chance to get a chaser/variant and you're at least guaranteed to have any of the rarer figures in each wave. I can see this only being ideal for the first wave as the subsequent waves and previous waves mixed in the cases.

hmm i'm tempted if these come in the official boxes activison ships.

I'm tempted to see if they send variants out.

They should, I've ordered a case of My Little Ponies from them before and they came in a factory sealed Hasbro box.
