That's actually something I was wondering as well.


But I was wondering how the 3DS would work. I mean it's allready bad enough having to load the skyskylander to switch your active skylanders. But with the addition of swapforce characters, it'll be even more pain having to swap the peices then load it. That'd just make playing Skylanders on the go that much more evil.

Ofcourse, I'd love it if they added it to where u only use ur portal of power to do 2 things.

1) Bring the character into the game. (This does not include switching your active skylanders)

2) Upgrading your Skylander.

With that this would give players access to all of their skylanders without having to use their portal of power. Plus if you max out your characters, then you don't have to use your portal of power at all (until you get a new skylander.)

They wont do that they love the portal they want skylanders to feel like magic for kids not technology

Likely due to the new graphics engine.

Wash with legs just looks weird

I really hope the toy is cleaned up and given some better texturing like we see in the art compared to the toy on display at the Toy Fair (and that the tentacle mustache is fixed to look less angular & plastic and more flowing)

swap force might be the last game i get unless people under 14 can get jobs in us in fact i might stop even if i can find a job if the HARD MODE IS JUST AS EASY AS LAST TIME AND THE FINAL BOSS IS INCREDIBLY EASY...AGAIN. ON BOTH MY RUNS I DIDN'T HAVE TO FIGHT ANYBODY BUT KAOS CAUSE EVEN IF YOU GOT HURT YOU COULD CONSTANTLY BE HEALED bolded and capitalized so that activision knows they did something wrong

I think the complaint comes from the final boss actually being easier than some of the previous bosses in the game; the only difference being that Robo-Kaos had far more health and so took longer to defeat.

The final boss of SSA was epic, and was somewhat difficult if you used only one character (assuming he wasn't an overpowered one).

The final boss of neither game was worth a lick of anything! They were both annoying.

Kaos in SSA was way harder then in SG unless you were really really really really really slow at the beginning part.....

Kaos in SA was so easy! Kaos in Giants was difficult because of those damn other enemies, but in SA I never once had an issue.

Kidding me? Giants was so easy, even on Hard. Terrafin, while underground, is invincible, so I just used his fin to attack the hand. Also used the Pirate seas ship to deal massive damage, pirate swords, plus a friend playing as eruptor, and then stealth elf, leaving behind bladed scarecrows. The old one was harder because you had to keep dodging, and ranged attacks weren't quite as affective. The fact you said it was so easy and then list using adventure packs and magic items voids you calling it easy. For one, I never use a magic item or adventure pack while playing the campaign because I enjoy the challenge. However, there was a huge difference (granted that is a strategical fault) in difficulty. The onslaught of characters rushing to me as I tried to hit the hand was a pain. The "older one" was completely easy for me. In my solo run through, dodging was no issue and attacking him at the right moment wasn't either. And, yes, I played it on the Wii with a friend and we literally beat it in no time. I didn't even notice he regained any health at all.

I beat, Khaos in Giants with only Stealth Elf. and it was on Nightmare mode.

but back on topic.

I'm not sure but did anyone else notice that in the videoes (The Family gamming one that went of the "Starter pack" characters and the short toy fair i think it was one.) That both had an Eruptor on the table with the rest of them. It looked like series 2 but this could mean something. But i could just as easily be looking to much into it.

He is series 2 orange base and same pose. He was only there to show old characters work in SWAP Force.

Personally I don't think it looks much like a Skylander, those small parts on the head look like they'd be far too thin and it overall doesn't look very child-orientated.

Yeah it looks like someone broke off an action figure and simply glued it on top of a Tech-elemental pedestal.

It's not a real Skylander, it has an orange base. Orange base is only for Skylanders from Giants (Series 2 editions count). Swap Force is a Blue base.

Can't be sure, sprocket. There will be some Skylanders "figures" that were made for fun, such as the photoshopped fire dragon giant and this fake Skylander here. Some online users will mistake them as "official characters".

Something about Freeze Blade and Stink bomb look like rejected Lilo and Stich characters.... it's the eyes

In all honesty I think we need to step outside the box for this to be declared fake. These toys are meant to be for kids. If you look at the previous skylanders, none of them (other than zap) have really sharp parts.

So with this having quite sharp points, then it most likely wouldn't be wise to have them available for such young kids.

Yes definitely a fake. Toys for Bob/Activision would never make a scissor handed character for a kids game. Never.

Well the Skylanders Kids did the Skylander Shorts and "Rock Paper Scissors Shoot" so fake.

That's Kamen Rider Scissors from Kamen Rider Ryuki.

You might've seen him in the American adaptation Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.

I could tell, because very few Skylanders look as badass as that.
