I'm going to hold off until I get a PS3, I will probably get a PS3 from my birthday (26th) to Christmas. If Wii has an exclusive I might get it for the Wii my family shares. If not I will wait to buy the PS3 version.

i cant say ive tried to use anything but the tablet controller smilie didnt know that you couldnt change the controller

i just love the fact i can play it in my bedroom haha, cant change skylanders but i can play through all the heroic challenges with 1 character
or attempt to get 'no lives lost' on some levels lol ;p

3ds version never compares to the full version on xbox/wii/wiiu/ps3

i had the wireless one from the ps3 and the wired one from the wii u, the ps3 one doesnt work with the wii u sadly smilie

Wii-U and 3DS but it would just depend on the release dates of the new gaming systems. If the new XBox is available prior to October and assuming Swap Force will be available for the new XBox then that's the one I'll probably buy.

i suggest people buy it on one system so they have all the games on that system... but for me i am staying over this round, and i am not gonna buy it for my ps3. without the online option for co-op or the battle-mode this was an easy option to take. one thing we know now after two games out already, the games are to short and lack re-playability. also the new skylanders characters just look like 'fisher price-like" 1 dollar bargain bin design execution. it just lack the quality of toy for bob and don't look like skylanders characters...

If I do get Swap Force it will be for my PS3 since I have the first two games for PS3 and I like to keep series on the same console if possible.
Potentially for the 3DS as well since I have the first two on 3DS. (if it goes on sale lol)

Prop all of them. I started giants with PS3 but...

I then ended up getting the blue wii on sale because i wanted gnarly and my son wanted a blue wii remote and nunchuk. i then had gotten spyros adventure to play for the xbox for like $30 with portal and all (it was the version that came with green gill grunt on black friday and dude didn't want the game etc just xbox 360) Then target like 2 weeks ago ahd the portal starter packs for like $30 and wife wanted a Red tree rex. So we ended up with all 3. It works out ok cause my brother plays now with my son on his PS3 and I play with the wife on the Xbox. The wii version my son takes to his grandmothers to play there cause she has only a wii.

I also ended up around after xmas sales getting the DS versions of skylander spyro and giants because they are different games.

Xbox 360! It's the platform that they natively are developing SSF on before porting to the other SKUs as they call them, so it might be the least buggy/glitchy.
