Well, a long time ago, maybe a year ago, I was on this site as GlitchGirl, yada yada. Someone told me a code that sends you to a secret world that summons random things. I tried the code, and it works, except that my game is about 8 years old or more, and very scratched up, so it wouldn't load me the level... Can anyone tell me the cheat or show me a video... I'd like to see what it's like.

Yup. When I go on my old profile I see comments of the one who tod me about it, but not the code, probably 'cause we were talking about it on another page.

Do you remember what the code is? The person who told me it can't find it. I'm just dying to see if my damn PS2 will load it or not...

If its not their now it will never be. the website hasnt been updated since 2003.

I know. I've used that site since I was, eh... 9? It's too bad they stopped updating.

Here's something you might consider. In YotD, the cheat prompt to warp to another world is by pressing up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right, square, and then two other buttons. Perhaps the 'Secret Spawn Level' code is in the same format.

I tried one of the ones that isn't used and O and R1 together brings up a textured, coloured screen where it says the adventure continues. I have a picture if you'd like to see it. That could be the entrance to this secret level. I'm getting excited. Use every unused code. This one didn't load it was just a rainbow textured screen, but that could be the loading screen of a test level.

EDIT: I tried X and L1 and it had the sunrise spring background but the writing at the bottom looked kind of Chinese. Ask if you want a picture.

Most teleportation codes with not right last two buttons will make such screen. I think all with O and something. Can you post the second image?

Oh my god. I have a near broken Vista laptop that I use for corrupting NES and gameboy games. I've gotten far worse than that. I also took footage of each corruption.

Why is it so hard to get to a secret spawn level?

^That may get us somewhere!! I'm gonna try that and see if it will give me that screen. When I tried the code given to me a long time ago, it gave me the Midnight Mountain loading screen and froze there for hours.

Yup. xD I was probably hitting the buttons wrong. xD Since my directional pad doesn't have seperate buttons so I may have been hitting the wrong thing.

I'm gonna try and ask Insomniac about this whole thing. It's just eating away at me. xD However, I doubt we will get a responce, because people that have said they've asked I Insomniac about Spyro they never answer, like they wanna forget him. But I'm gonna try anyways.

Also, what version of the game do all you guys have? I've got Greatest Hits, so that might be why the secret level, if it really does exist, isn't loading. Greatest Hits may have added a block, like in Dino Mines. Anyone using the original game and gotten anywhere or nowhere?

I have the Greatest Hits USA version.

There's always the Insomniac forum. Other than that, I do not know. I do know that Brian Hastings is the lead programmer for YotD, but I can't find any contact info about him.
