I have to admit, I was excited when I saw that I could nickname my characters. It's a small touch that doesn't really do anything, but I think it brings me closer to my figures. :3

My Nicknames:

Zap- Kilowatt (based off a character from the Teen Titans Go! comics)
Bash- Ludo (Cause he can call the rocks. )
Sonic Boom- Raven (also from Teen Titans)
Wrecking Ball- Harley (named after my dog, who is named for Harley Quinn)
Dino-rang- Steve (RIP Irwin...)

So what are your nicknames and why?

While I can't nickname the figures on the 3DS 'officially', I still refer to the characters as the nicknames I'd give them if I could (when I put a figure on the portal, I yell out their would-be nickname like I'm a Pokemon Trainer, because I'm corny like that).

So, my would-be nicknames...

Dark Spyro = Dark Falz (Phantasy Star villain)

Legendary Spyro - Olga Flow (Phantasy Star Online boss)

Stealth Elf = Helga (Phantasy Star Universe/Portable villain)

Whirlwind = Rainbow Dash (....My Little Pony....)

Ignitor = Ignitus (....LoS...)

I also have Sonic Boom, Drobot, Legendary Bash, and Zap, but I don't want to nickname Sonic Boom, and don't know what to call the others yet.

Spyro: Skyro( I've seen alot of people call skylander spyro that.)
Stealth Elf: Hinata( Guess why )
Gill Grunt: hydro Dude( I don't remember why i gave him that nickname)

Spyro: I refuse to consider my own figurine as Spyro himself.The Skylanders!Spyro is Skyro,mine is Cygnus(an NPC from Gaia Online,a Dark Star pretty much) :U
Trigger Happy: Diedrich (Another NPC from Gaia Online,a cross between a rabbit and a zombie which says some sick things,but it's REALLY lucky with a lot of stuff)
Gill Grunt: Prince Enki(again from Gaia Online,the Prince of the Seas and all that)

I was only going to name the Starter Pack after Gaia Online characters,but I don't have any toys other than them :U but I still name my SSU characters as well...

Voodood: Damian(after a character from a comic,no it doesn't have anything to do with the Gaian with the same name)
Boomer: Trollverine(he didn't have a name,but recently I noticed how his arms remind me of them.)
Zap: Eelektross(Pokémon,yay!)

Hex - Elphaba,the Wicked Witch of the West,named in the book Wicked after the writer of the original Wizard of Oz(L. Frank Baum,whose initials (L-F- sound like Elphaba)
Bash - Herakles,since dayum this character is strong. Named after one of the original names of the Greek Mythology demigod.

Universe:
Cynder - Skynder;I got stuck with that name after I started calling Skylander! Spyro as Skyro.
Sonic Boom - Medea,I looked at her upgrade paths so much it sounds like an awesome name for that.
Zook - Viper,but I'm not sure why. Like the others,the name just stuck.


Just for the heck of it,I'm planning to name a future Whirlwind as Lady Rainicorn.She reminds me of her so much...

If I had Skylanders, I'd definitely rename Spyro as 'GOONro!' Just so I can laugh every time I see it.

I'm not really going to explain the story behind their nicknames, because they're inside jokes between me and my friends. But I guarantee you'll still find them very funny.

Sonic Boom - Sonic RainBoom (this one actually isn't an inside joke, I'm sure many MLP fans can guess this one.)

Stump Smash - Da Boss

Spyro, Trigger Happy, and Drobot don't have nicknames right now, but I'm sure I'll think of something eventually.

I didn't gave my skylanders nicknames in the game, but I named some of them them anyway.

Sonic Boom: Fap Momma. A corruption of the flap and well she's a female with babies!
Trigger Happy: Jitters. He seemed really jittery to me.
Ghost Roaster: Haunter. It was the name my husband called him and it's stuck.
Wrecking Ball: Barrel Roll. Press L,L or Z,Z and do a Barrel Roll! (Star Fox anyone?)
Dino-Rang: Wooly Gang. It seems to be the character's favourite cry!
Stealth Elf: Stealth Kettle. From the Dara O'Briain joke on the stealth kettle "it hides in the garden and out of no where, it makes you a cup of tea and then vanishes down the garden!"

Our others are not nicknamed as yet, but Dark Spyro is being referred to as Evil Spyro in our house!

Dino-Rang: Roadkill (from Twisted Metal 2. Roadkill throws boomerangs.
Wrecking Ball: Junkyard Dog (He looks like a pug and in Twisted Metal: BLACK there was a character named Junkyard Dog that threw wrecking balls.
Hex: Dollface (Looks like Dollface from Twisted Metal: BLACK)
Double Trouble: Aku Aku (Tiki guy from Crash Bandicoot)
Ghost Roaster: Mr. Grimm (Twisted Metal 2, a grim reaper who eats souls and can throw giant skulls.)
Flameslinger: Illidan (Elf Demon in World of Warcraft)
Chop Chop: Thessarian (Death Knight ruler in World of Warcraft)

Sonic boom: John Egbert. Has a jester hat on. She can do 'wind related things' therefor she is John Egbert. Also, EGGbert, kinda works.

Sunburn, now that I have him, is still Azkiar. Considered Davesprite, or 'feathery asshole' but Sunburn's just not cool enough for those names.

P.S.- XL 103 is the name of a radio station where I live, in case anyone was wondeing about Drill Sergeant's nickname.

The only one I have nicknamed is Ghost Roaster. My daughter asked me to name him Bill Murray. Not sure if it was because of Ghostbusters, Zombieland or both.

When I got my second Whirlwind I nicknamed her Whirlwind 2.
