is it just me or does skylanders kinda like smash bros for example both characters are toys (except smash bros turn into trophies) but in ssbb anyone can be a trophy if you throw a trophy stand at an enemy it turns into a trophy and when they are both defeated turn back to a toy or trophy my point is its kinda similar how all characters (or the skylanders you bought) team up to destroy a weird boss (tabuu in brawl or kaos in wii,360,ps3 and pc and hektore in 3Ds)

I am the only one in the house who has finished the adventure part of the game yet I have the least amount of time logged for the game. Believe me, this doesnt make much sense and that taffy company is calling.

i would say its more like pokemon.

It's extremely similar to many adventure games that are geared towards young audiences, the difference being the addicting concept of collecting all of the characters/figures and upgrading them. Also, including Spyro in the game automatically attracts many people. I know I wouldn't have purchased the game if I wasn't under the impression it was a traditional Spyro game, but I'm glad I did in fact purchase it.

yeah cuz i looked up the wikia and originally they werent going to add him but since they didnt think it was going to get that much sales they picked spyro to be the leader or the main protagonist

I see what you mean.

You're not saying the games are anything like each other. You're saying that the Smash Bros characters are trophies that turn into "real life" fighters, and the Skylanders are toys that turn into "real life" adventurers.

I wouldn't say Skylanders drew inspiration from Smash Bros in that respect, but it's an interesting comparison.

hell yeah they put ****ty characters like rob and since snake and sonic made a guest apearance why not spyro?

Erm...Pokemon Rumble Blast IS toys that fight against each other...so...

Honestly though, they'll have to work a bit with him for Spyro to be in "Universe" or whatever it'll be called. Really, TLoS Spyro had lots of moves that would have seamlessly moved into Brawl, and even a final smash to boot. (That slowmo attack thing that you could do). But Spyro was rebranded shortly after that so Insomniac really couldn't have had him.

However, with Spyro now in the hands of Activision, I have high hopes for him to appear. They could include Triggs or Gil as Assist Trophies (Triggs comes out and shoots coins all over, Gil sprays water) and have Kaos as a baddie from the games, and the Ruins as his home stage. Final Smash could work with him flying into the air, shooting a bunch of fireballs and then finishing with Spyro's Earth Pound, creating a shockwave that'd damage all the characters on the same ground as you.

Besides his main color, alternate colors would be Legendary [Blue], Green [Green] Red [Red], Dark and maybe gold or silver just to troll everyone.
