Hi am new to the forums, and i was just wondering does anybody actually use spyro that much consider this is a spyro game? Might b a silly question but i just though id see if people actually do use him.

I don't use spyro

my first replyer hi lol any reason u dont use him? it wil b intersting to know considering this is a spyro game how many people use the main man himself

Only used him to open magic gates before I got Voodood and Double Trouble. My brother maxed out Dark Spyro though.

In a way, yes and no.

The original game was designed to be a much more grittier Spyro adventure. But seeing as Spyro was more of a family friendly title, they decided to rework it into the game we know today.
But it's also a bit like Spyro is a "guest" in this universe. In fact, his lore tablets mention that Eon reached out to Spyro to ask him to help protect the Skylanders.

However, I treat it as a Spyro game, but this Spyro is a different one than say..the original Spyro or the TLoS Spyro.

I dont like the way he plays or his damage. Plus I have voodood who is alot better

Dark Spyro is stronger than Legendary Spyro, who's stronger than regular Spyro.

I'm not too crazy about Voodood either. Double Trouble is my favorite Magic Skylander so I recommend getting him. And on the console versions, there is no difference besides their colorings.

I didnt know that, and i know its not a regular spyro title but i just thought considering spyros stil the main man do people actually use him. Plus are people perfering other chars then spyro for example, am now really liking wrecking ball

lol i wish i could get double trouble but sadly am in the uk and havent seen hardly any of wave 3 i was lucky to find wrecking ball

On the first run through I'm using Spyro a fair bit. As you say, It's a Spyro game. But I do work in as many of the others as I can. I plan to run through the game several times. Hey I currently have 21 Skylanders with another 4 on the way. I plan to get plenty of use out of all of them.

Well, the numbers aren't accurate, but L-Spy is stronger than regular Spy at least from what I've seen.

This is true, but I don't think there's any difference between Dark Spyro's and Spyro's stats in-game.

When I first started playing I used Spyro, because I don't like GGrunt $ Trigger Happy. But I have more Skylanders now, so I never use him anymore...

In the help files (look on the menu to your left) you will find a list of abbreviations to put them in your sig. I worked it out into a wordpad and then just copied it over. There are a bunch of colon <2 letter abbreviation> colon codes.

As for Spyro, although I've been using him, I admit I prefer to use many of the others much more. Stealth Elf and Drobot for example.

If you already have the console version, (which it sounds like you do) and you have a 3DS, go for it. It's a really great game, and it's a completely different game too! It's a whole new adventure to take your Skylanders on! The only thing that sucks about it is that as far as I know, there's no way to erase character data on it. You have to already own the console version to do that, since you can only erase character data on that.

I used Spyro a lot he was the only magic character I had....always would keep using him because he was one of my most powerful characters!
I think if it would have came with a different magic character I would have used someone else tho!

I WOULD have used him more, but my Spyro broke and it took 6 weeks for Acti to send the replacement... Fffffffffffffffff... So I didn't get to use him as much as the others. But I'm gonna replay the game later and use all the Skylanders I got after beating Kaos, so then I'll get to use him more.

Aw that sucks m8 at least u got him back now tough which gives u an excuse to go back though the game

Glad to see some more people playing as spyro now. Keep posting its interesting to see if spyros stil popular.

I use him a lot he is the reason I am into dragons and have a bunch of dragon themed stuff but anyway if i am not using him my brother is playing or he is resting

^ Same here, Spyro the Dragon was one of my first video games when I was a kid and I'm pretty sure he's the reason why I love dragons so much now.

mines too i love dragons cuz of him well i think it was him or maleficent any way i like dark spyro hes awesome

^ What a coincidence, Maleficent is my favorite Disney character - her and Scar.

I'll probably use Gill Grunt more than Spyro when I first get it. I'll ask my Dad if I can get a character pack with Sonic Boom etc etc, if so then I probably won't be playing as Spyro at all.

^ Drobot is also a very helpful character if you don't have him yet. He has an upgrade that teaches him to hover over land and water and his lasers are very powerful.

I use him all the time

I haven't really used Spyro, purely because a friend who I played the game with bogarted both my regular Spyro and Dark Spyro and trained them up. I have a Legendary Spyro who I am looking forwarded to training myself, though.

Woohoo it seems to b a lot of people liking the purple guy now although it's strange how most of prefer dark spyro lol never the less that stil counts. Am looking to get the 3ds version so looking forward to see if he's as good as most say
